Yes the world is filled with many undesirable people,but that wasn't who he was killing after awhile. It went from being the worst criminals to simply anyone who didn't agree with or tried to stop him. He was just a corrupt as the rest of the world, the death note was the only difference.

Most of it is because they come from a bad background or don't know better. Even if they know what they're doing is bad, no one can judge them. I know 2 wrongs don't make a right, but I can understand the logic behind what he wanted to achieve. It was never about "being better" or "having the right", it's about redemption. I'm sure if a person killed your family and you were given a Death Note you would do the exact same thing he did, you wouldn't be as rational to think "I do not deserve to judge a criminal for killing my family". He was empathetic, he knew the world would never be peaceful as long as criminals are doing as they please
vegetto, that depends on what u mean by "right", everyone always thinks that their actions are right, thats why they take those actions. and in my opinion, thinking that what your doing is right gives you the right to do it. one actions shouldnt be based on other ppls opinions, you got a free will for a reason.

O_O That was...awesome. I'm in shock at the skill and effort it must've taken to create this work of art, so that's really all I can say: It's awesome...just, awesome.
A personal note about Deathnote: I liked the series, although I had to muscle down the first episode to just get in it. I found that the ending was satisfying and the psycho-thriller idea was appealing. Personally, I despise Light/Kira because of the idea of assuming authority from borrowed power. You earn power, then you use to to set right the wrong, then you end it. Power is never yours to keep unless you intend to never stop improving the world
I agree whole heartedly! Personally, I have both this version and the one made by zabymaru101 in my favorites list. I discovered his first, but I have to say that they're both fantastic. They're different, but I think that both of them are about equal in quality. ^_^
