i love that people here love both chrono trigger AND phoenix wright. then again, it's a given that anyone who likes either game has great taste in games!
I remember doing the beginning of the game over so many times try to be as good as I could be and pick all the right options, only to find I was fated to go to jail :S I was amazed at the options available though for such an old game, if you did this then later on they say this instead of this and then you can choose to reply this way, Truly amazing :)
i remember the 3rd time i was going through the game i made myself guilty as hell, tried to sell the pendent, ate the guys lunch, didnt wait for her when she was getting candy it was fun :D
Yeah but they DID leave a Lode Sword in a jail cell for whatever reason. Too bad I always got my grind on for cash and bought from Melchoir at the Millennial Fair at the beginning.
Ok guys. I heard this really cool remix that I can't get out of my head. It's of the tune that starts playing at 0:21. It was all piano. If anyone can help me find this thing. It'd be much appreciated.
You can avoid being found guilty by helping the little girl at the carnival find her cat, not dragging Marle when she buys candy and rushing her, and by not eating the guy's lunch (which is fun, actually). Trying to sell her pendant to Melchoir also gets you a guilty verdict, haha. But it doesn't really matter, since the outcome is the same.
Judgement is still cast against Chrono and he's still set to be executed. If you keep bothering the gaurds when in jail, your able to escape on your own. If you wait in jail, your sent to the guillotine.
Just saying for those curious. Verdict doesn't effect anything, really. It just makes the story more interesting at that moment.
True, but it's not like you really need them. If you keep getting shelters in the forest before going to the castle, you could just restore your MP at a savepoint. Then again, some people don't use shelters and camp, so the ethers would be needed.
I believe I am guilty of but one thing... Causing your demise, in 600 BC., Yakra. (Music Stops, and Chancellor Yakra disappears into the Sand of Time) Now, shall we continue the Trial, GENTLEMEN?

He thought chancellor was good and he probably belived him more than Crono and Pierre. But luckily it was only 3 days so he isn't very stupid but he is stupid.
But-but.. I didn´t eat the poor guys lunch... I helped that little girl with her cat and I was waiting patiently so Marle could buy her stuff.. Still I have to go to jail? :P

Chancellor: No! You're going to prison!
Crono: But I tell ya, all judges said I was innocent! Lemme go! This is against the rules!
Chancellor: SCREW THE RULES I HAVE AN OVERSIZED BEARD!

What really pissed me off about this, is that I only had one "guilty" against me but I still had to go through all the shit. :<
But I now know that it was meant to be.... Still pisses me off. :P

This music reeks of evil, conspiracy and abuse of power. I bet thats what the oil company CEOs play at their cocktail parties.

Well, you do get ethers depending on the amount of not guiltys, but only when you get a not guilty verdict.
