@bubbleboy80 the 450 motor isnt as reliable as the 250, it would pretty much blow up on the highway, and thats coming from Yamaha's mouth....but hopefully tech will advance, ill be first in line for the wr450x!!

Very impressive hp numbers, This is going to be the future for motorcycles now, (EFI) Over here in oz i went to my local store to buy a new weed wacker and the brand is called sthil and its a 4 stroke that has no oilsump or resivoir, it runs on a mixture of 2 stroke oil and gasoline to lubricate all of the valves piston and bearings, but the oil mixture is so thin it doesnt produce any smoke like a 2 stroke

The reason why they do this is to reduce weight. this could be all motorcycles future

he's pretty accurate. but who counts time to 70mph. its 60 thats usually counted... yes the wr is quick. its quicker than my zzr250. i do just inder 7 secs to get to 60mph. wr gets there about a 1/2second-3/4of a second quicker. 32whp on a 250 4 stroke is VERY respectable. stock ninja 250 does about 23.5hp

31.24HP Hmm why so low? Oh yeh its a four stroke sorry just used to seing high 40's and low 50's from 250cc engines but then again thats why I love two strokes which to date still have a better power to weight ratio.None the less you still have a great bike!

@JaysBestClips My thoughts exactly, jason.  My bike had to be 577 cc to make 60 hp! My 250 smoker makes about 50 with light mods... talk about a power/displacement comparison!! Now torque is a whole other thing obviously.

@JaysBestClips because these hp numbers are based on actual read wheel hp not at the crank. that motor is probobly putting out about 45hp or so at the crank.

Very good considering the Honda XR 650L produces 33 stock HP and its a 349lb 650cc bike! Compare that to a 250cc 276lb bike with 32 HP and you get some serious fun!

top speed should be atleast over 100mph b/c i have the same bike still completely shock and ive had it up to 100 and it was still pullin along....but goin 100 on that bike feels much faster

Bike makes around 25whp stock so 32whp is pretty darn good. Plus 28% good! The first pull on the vid is before opening the airbox and dailing in more fuel.
