Apart from sitting in water full of other peoples infected skanky dead skin, this is kind of cruel to the fish who have to resort to eating manky skin because they have nothing else to eat. Imagine being stuck in the Andes mountains after a plane crash with lots of dead people and no food to eat, well thats the situation these fish are in, they are starving and kept by cretins with no idea how to keep them. I keep Garra Rufa fish, so I know this fishes needs well.

I have 20 living in a fast flowing tank with no other fish species and they are far more interesting then conventional fish (community tank) to watch. They never fight and I have put medium rocks in my tank which they crawi around underneath. they love algae wafers big time! If you are in Erope, you should be able to get some. USA will be more difficult I think. they are sold on Fleabay but by the 100s better to source from a Pet shop.
