@Babenne Yes! Doesn't effect this machine in the least! Then again, I haven't used it on an everyday basis. But the few times I have, no ill effect whatsoever!
You wear 3 different sets of clothing in a day?!?! I wear things 4/5 times before washing them (except underwear, lol). I can go a week with a pair of jeans and 2 tops.
... when you travel you learn whats important, i guess
I don't see the point of this machine. Have you never hand-washed any clothes in your life? All you need is a source of water, a hard surface, and hands or feet ... Even use of detergent or soap isn't necessary. Just go watch on TV or travel almost anywhere in the world, outside of the developed countries, and you will see this method.
@utubesqueeze The point of this machine is that it will do the entire "load" on just a quart of two of water, for when there IS not water source. Water will be a scarce commodity for many people, at some point.
Interestingly enough it was actually invented for the developing world (South Africa). The main advantages are that it's much gentler on the hands than hand-washing and involves less work. As you say in pretty much any developing country, people are able to wash clothes quite well by hand, even without detergent.
Disclosure: I run The Laundry Alternative, Inc., which specializes in this product.
@HJKelley47 Hi- after researching the other model for about 30 minutes, I found a user review saying that it is made in China. However, the user also gave that model a very good review. Apparently, the "other" model, as well as this one, works very well. People who use these on a weekly basis seem to rave about them. Not a bad deal!
lol! Yeah! Out basement bathroom has a wash-basin sink with a ribbed board built into it for laundry purposes. I think that will come in handy too, when the lights go out. We will see! How I am going to miss sharing and watching videos with you when TSHTF and we no longer have access to internet, videos, phones, etc... -sigh- A sad day indeed, when friends grow silent because of troubled times! I wonder if carrier pigeons could make it to the outback nations. HMMMMMMM... LOL :)
Yep, however you'd wash your clothes in a normal washer. We're looking into making our own detergent by the 5-gal bucket, with Borax, washing soda and lye. I'll do a video on it when I get around to it. lol
I am also going to get an old fashioned washboard to use with an old washtub I got an an auction last year.
Right now in good weather I hang clothes on the line to dry. Sheets smell WONDERFUL when they;ve been sun-dryed!
Yeah, we'll all be dealing with our clothes differently. Think coveralls for outside chores to keep wear & tear & dirt on 'street' clothes to a minimum. Check with the commercial uniform businesses to see if they have 'retired' ones you can get cheap.
No way this is awesome!!!! I love this. Thank you for the links lady! Keep rollin the great ideas in!
Oh I was thinking of you the other day when I heard the parents in NY got arrested for not complying with sign ups at homeschool. You popped into mind. Was that not upsetting???
Have you ever used bleach or bleach alternative when you use the Wonder Wash?

Just beware of chemtrail days for hanging out washing in the open.
I had nasty experiences early on,burning/tingling skin for 2 days after tearing a shirt off and showering after drying on a chem'd day, never again.
Brilliant device 5 stars!

Good to know. I hadn't thought of that, actually. Thanks for the stars, and for watching! :)))

We have a chainlink fence around the back yard and we always do our blankets and sheets on that in the summer months. They smell SO GOOD!
