I'm confused. Here he says that he was called to replace a collapsed priest for his first exorcism in the Bronx, but elsewhere he says it was in Cairo.

u can get any of his books on ebay or amazon ...He was Murdered after he wrote Windswept House..He mentions my son in that book as i spoke to him on the phone and he gave me spiritual Direction..what most don't know except some priest who told me..He was secretly made a Cardinal by Pope John Paul 2

I READ HIS BOOK HOSTAGE TO THE DEVIL IT WAS A GREAT BOOK HE SAID ALL THE STORIES WERE TRUE AND PARTS OF THE TAPES HE RECORDED WRE IN THE BOOK I CUDNT SLEEP AT NIGHT WHEN I WAS READING THE DIFFERENT STORIES IN IT BRILLIANT WISH I HAD IT AGAIN.

This is true. My father became possessed by becoming addicted to drugs, sex, alcohol, stealing, and lying. He used to be a mild mannered, loving Catholic. When the Devil got hold of him, he tried to kill my mother and myself. He continues to curse God and I believe is still the property of the Evil One. My mother and I survived by attending mass daily, praying, asking for God. I continue to recite the Rosary 3 times per day. This is real. I saw it. My father opened himself up to evil.

Malachi Martin is a great author. His "Hostage to the Devil" book (Religion) is an exciting and chilling read as it really opens your eyes into the topic of exorcism and possession. This interview, though, must be pretty old as Martin passed away in 1999.
