What's funny is these people earlier in the movie were condemning a fantasy movie, harry potter, for teaching witchcraft...things like flying on brooms and fighting 3 headed dogs. But what they are doing here is something REAL witches would call magic. It's called sympathetic magic, it's similar to voodoo. These people are clueless (and I'm a Christian just for the record)

These kids are being abused. There is no other way to put it. This is brainwashing of the worst kind. These people have to be stopped.
