I think most Zang ethnic minorities (Tibetans) activists, living outside of their motherland, China and a small number inside China, including a small minority of Western sympathisers have realized that they have lost a lot of respect in the International Communities today. The disruptions of the Olympic Torch, The Beijing Games, The riots in Lhasa, Xizang (Tibet) province of China in March 2008, and many other disruptive demonstrations had been condemn by people worldwide. You don't even realise the benefits of Tibetans and all minorities in China do you ? They get more fucking freedoms than me. More government benefits, high level representatitives than the majority Han.

yep, I live in Australia and what I mean by 'they get more freedoms than me', is that people of minority ethnicity in Chinese culture are entitled to huge amounts of benefits exempt for the Han Chinese. And unlike the dying Aussie aboriginals and American Indians, the minorities benefit hugely and have higher proportions in tertiary education, exempt from one child policy etc. cultural promotion etc. etc. I have Uigher friends in Chinese school that are more "patriotically Chinese" than me.

KARMA has already decided the status of Tibet. This Dalai Lama was enthroned in 1940 under the supervision of Chinese official and in the presence of Chinese troops. That was KARMA. Read wikipedia, Tibet Sovereignty Debate.

The UN has discussed Tibet in 1950, 1959, and few more times after that. No need to discuss again. Waste of time. Recognize what the whole world recognizes, and stop fighting - violence or non-violence, and that is REAL PEACE, will put an end to all kinds of counter-fights

One cannot comments on the current issues based on the information given by the West or Dalai Lama himself. To be fair to all parties, go to Tibet yourself and talk to the Tibetans and find out the truth. Don't just listen to the West who want to provoke wars to export thier weapons only. Go to Tibet and talk to the Tibetans yourself. Talk to more Tibetans instead of one only. Never listen to one sided story broadcasted by BBC and CNN or books written by extremist in the West.
