to do the gliding part in bomb diving you have to bomb dive down enough and then,doesnt matter what system ur on, click or press the left stick and it will let u glide up. please thumb up.

@fuzible2007 I'm on xbox 360 and I haven't tried clicking the left stick. What I do is just pull back on the left stick. Here's a tip: The longer the dive bomb, the more air you'll get.

If clicking doesn't work just try this method

@littlestrawblover Dive as low as you can before touching the ground sand than let go of of RT or L2 for the ps3 and immediately pull down on the right stick (pull up if the fliight controls are not inverted) and you will go really high and never let go of the A / X button while gliding or diving. Don't worry it also took me a while to figure it out.

Until just now, I was one of those frustrated people who couldn't get to the second trial platform. I wasn't dive bombing for long enough. You have to dive-bomb long enough to get enough lift and then you can pull back on the stick. glide off the ledge and immediately dive-bomb...then pull back on the left stick and then immediately do it again and pull back on the stick....should get you far enough to RB to the 3rd platform. Good luck!

I see that everyone is having trouble with flying Upwards, so let me basicly tell you what you do wrong:

Basicly, you doesnt drop enough, you will have to let Batman drop without interrupting his drop until he is just beneath the dusk trail, then you pull your left analog stick back, and he will fly up, when the dusk trail shows you to.

I know you're supposed to follow the curve of the blue line, but what happens when the curve goes UPHILL (the second time he has to follow it)? There is NOTHING that Batman can do (that I know of) to follow that motion; every time I pull up on the analog stick, he just goes plunging straight through it, to his death.

He uses the lazarus pit to gain immortality, I wouldn't say it's "supernatural" it's more science fiction, like a naturally occuring, hyper rejuvenational mud bath. Also before you fight him in "the desert" you see that Batman gets hit with a cloud of gas. So most of the fight is an illusion. Ra's is basically a ninja, illusions are a big part of that.
