I think you guys are putting out a really great podcast! Your point on Violet Kira is great, it's important to note that she neither finger wags nor trolls us all by keeping all that data to herself, thanks for bringing that up!

As for validation seekers, I tend to feel that "hardcore" games bring out the hubris in people, and this is the only way for MH players to 1-up each other. MH boards are rife with this, you're right, maybe with Demon's Souls being able to hunt each other makes this ok

This is what I think; all the forum trolls are the life blood of the game I mean, monster hunter, well the original and the 3 freedom psp games are so hard to play it makes the game very elitist anyway. Most people get put off and even fewer actually even know the game exists which just leaves the hardcore trolls like everyone here :L So since the nature of the game makes it a very solitary punishing environment when someone tries to disprove the way you do things it isn't nice :L #LRKIRINFTW
