The enemy actually has a really bad AI in this game. For example, if you're in a lit room with your torch off and the monster is chasing you, if you get on clearly visible high ground, turn around and wiggle your butt in his face, there's a good chance he'll begin ignoring you and walk away. Thing is, most people aren't brave enough to not look when he walks in.

You "hear" that sound, though you don't actually use your ears but it plays inside your head. It's hard to explain, but your mind messes itself up when you have that moment, you get it for isntance when you get the cold chill down your spine.

The game tells you to play this in a dark room with headphones on...by yourself. Trust me at 2 am it's scary as fuck. The game literally just wants you to be scared.
