A kid at my school died in his sleep last night (1-02-12). As of now, we're not exactly sure why. He was one of those kids you couldn't help but just love because of his humor and positive demeanor. Even though his life wasn't really the same as the life in this song, I'm pretty sure he's in good hands now.

For those of you that are atheist and your really doubting your religious beliefs, read the book of Ecclesiastes. It's really good and I know for a fact that it will help a lot. And even if you don't do it, or you did but continued following non believers, at least you tried and the thought will always be in that back of your mind. And you will want to try again, and you will someday be saved by Jesus Christ. He is loving, and always forgiving. Once you follow him, you won't want to go back.

I found piano music for this, and even without the singing, the piano music is captivating and just as amazing... kind of makes you want to crawl up in a ball and cry, but also to realize how God works right up at the end of our mortal lives and through our endless days in heaven :D.

Religion aside because that's part of what's wrong, I think Jesus is the way, confronting only the very bare bones realities of life in it's purest form. And I know ALOT of people who are waking up to that very thing.

Last night I got busted in my dorm smoking weed and got a possession and paraphernalia ticket. I have no idea whats going to happen to me but more importantly it has caused me to look at my life. I came from small religious town that taught me good religious values and somewhere along the way I lost sight of that. Becouse of this song so many times I have just thought about what it means to die and let God keep me. To rest in his hands intill Jesus wakes me from that cold ground. @singatnote call me stupid if you want to, but life and eventually death is all there's going to be, so at least try to enjoy your life instead of worring about going to heaven or hell. Besides, cristians (and other religions) are 100% focused in putting down everyone that doesn't believe in the same things.

For those of you that are atheist and your really doubting your religious beliefs, read the book of Ecclesiastes. It's really good and I know for a fact that it will help a lot. And even if you don't do it, or you did but continued following non believers, at least you tried and the thought will always be in that back of your mind. And you will want to try again, and you will someday be saved by Jesus Christ. He is loving, and always forgiving. Once you follow him, you won't want to go back.

I found piano music for this, and even without the singing, the piano music is captivating and just as amazing... kind of makes you want to crawl up in a ball and cry, but also to realize how God works right up at the end of our mortal lives and through our endless days in heaven :D.

im atheist and i enjoy this song. but the comments....cant handle them. with people saying gay marriage shouldnt be acted upon and that they weep for those who dont know the lord. atheists dont believe in the lord therefore dont want to know him so dont feel bad for an atheist. and for the person telling someone that they are choosing the wrong path in life by not following what he believe is ridiculous. i truly hate religious warriors on youtube they drive me crazy.

Just to add in, I have grown up in a Christian family, I've found that it was harder to understand God and the Bible in my later years because he was just kind of someone I thought of once a week at church. I was so wrong, I got into porn and stuff and everything. When I came back to Jesus he really made me understand a lot more. Sorry, I don't mean to be preaching on. :)

Religion aside because that's part of what's wrong, I think Jesus is the way, confronting only the very bare bones realities of life in it's purest form. And I know ALOT of people who are waking up to that very thing.

He died for everyone, gay people too. he stood for being who you are and loving everyone, and that's what we should be doing instead of hating people for what they believe. Last night I got busted in my dorm smoking weed and got a possession and paraphernalia ticket. I have no idea whats going to happen to me but more importantly it has caused me to look at my life. I came from small religious town that taught me good religious values and somewhere along the way I lost sight of that. Becouse of this song so many times I have just thought about what it means to die and let God keep me. To rest in his hands intill Jesus wakes me from that cold ground. We need more songs like this to help us embrace OUR OWN DEATHS. Its not that we WANT to die, its that we can face death with our heads held high knowing well rise again. Also Jon Foreman has such simplicity that it speaks to me everytime I listen to this. Makes me wanna cry and at the same time shout for Jesus :)

@plamanidefier Jon Foreman sang the part near the end about the Way, the Truth, and the Life. Foreman and Thiessen are friends so Foreman helped out at the end of the song. You can tell the voice difference if you hear closely. Both great bands though!
