  • i just got one and i think it's great but the only thing i don't like about it is that the clip is kind of stiff

  • Nutnfancy needs to gently sway Kershaw into some FFG blades.Chinese and American. Cold Steel went to FFG to try and compete with Spydercos and because Nut and his subscribers love the full flat grinds.

  • Must Wave this knife. It is screaming for it! Just take thumplate off,Dremel spine and then reinstall thumb plate. I LOVE Ron Paul and his foreign policy. And his social and tax policies.

  • Bought one off ebay 15 dollars with shipping included razor sharp I use it for EDC great knife small price

  • kershaw need to start making rj blades out of better steel and in the USA RJ deserves better than china cheap steel

  • Love these type of reviews this is why i watch your channel.. Keep them comming

  • just got this knife, love it, $21 bucks shipped. only beef is one of the pocket clip screws is totally stripped out, so im gonna have to leave it in the tip down position. other than that its a phenomenal knife for the money.

  • hey nutn, do you think any of the new kershaw line up blades would make not only a good edc, but also a tactical blade? i thought about the Skyline, but what do you think?

  • Just picked up one at Big 5 for 19 + tax. At that price point its a great knife.

  • WTF I got mine for 40 not 25

  • The blade design mirrors that of one of the most successful kershaw's made the scallion. That put kershawnon the map for me at least. Love the blade, another home run Kershaw ;-)

  • This was my first Kershaw knife as of 4 hours ago lol love it so far it's just so darn sexy :D

  • Me: "Babe... I need this knife"

Wife: "Why do you NEED another knife"

    Me: ".... uh.... "

Thanks a lot for the blade addiction Nutn :o) Love my Kershaw Nerve!

  • @702ghostrider Ask her why she needs another pair of shoes.

  • Looks like Nutnfancy has been watching Austin Powers lately.

"You want some chocolate Mini Me?"

    Haha nice review Nutn

  • Bought as an EDC/utility knife. Great jimping. Thumb plate feels too close to the folding axis and takes some getting used too. Clip is tight on pocket but does ride low. Had it just over a week and seeing rust forming on blade. I can't lap on oil for a pocket carried folder... Anyone else have this problem with the bead blasted? The OKC Joe Pardue Utilitac is a better choice for about the same price.

  • Very excited to see this knife, one of my favorites, just because its so damn fast.

  • Damn. Nutn. I'm going through and watching all these videos. What makes Kershaw's so beautiful?

  • So many good reviews, must be nice to get all these nice things sent to u to do reviews on...

  • Just got mine. Big 5 $19.99. I'm really impressed with the quality and especially the lockup at this price. Some other knives at this price that I looked at were JUNK. My only beef with the Nerve is the pocket clip is REALLY tight and starting to wear out my pants pocket, but that's just nitpicking

    Way to go Kershaw!

  • @remus5 i very carefully bend it so it wasnt so tight

  • Hey nutn you might have already done it but what do you think of the Kershaw blackout?

  • i wish i could put the volt blade on the nerve handle

  • OLD SCHOOL VIDEO

    love it.

  • Also got one at big 5 good buy @ 20$

one thing on mine that was odd is that the pivot screw is super tight and i cant get out ir adjust..... never seen this before in kershaw.... gonna try to heat the female side see if it loosens. Like nutn always says just a data point

  • S of a B this wasn't in my sub box. Great video!

  • Got mine on sale at Big 5 for 19.99, decent knife

  • JIMPAAAANNNNGGGG!!!!!

    -JD

  • i got one of these and its my edc knife and its great. it comes out very sharp

  • i got one of these and its my edc knife and its great

  • Phoshpher Bronsh Bushingsh!

  • I bought this knife a few months ago and i think is awsome and sleek lookn. Like you, i wasnts sure about the thumb plat its was my first knife like that. I really like it, in fact i can even wave the knife with the thumb plat so im loving that. It keeps a great edge myself but thats me.

  • Oh yes, I remember shot show. DOES IT HAVE SCISSORS!!! *snicker snicker* PFI dude, PFI dad?! *snicker snicker* SCISSORS?!

I'm surprised the leatherman guy didn't slap you. I would have. Don't get me wrong, I like you, you have a lot of good stuff. But the leatherman booth, I got down right upset with how you presented yourself. And as you say, 'I'm just saying it like it is' and I am here, in this comment, saying what I thought about that.

You're better, you can act/be better.

  • Hey nutnfancy i love how your reviewing blades that are less than 40$. it helps me choose a quality blade in a lesser price range. thanks to you i have already purchased this knife and a ka-bar dozier design hunter a byrd caracara2. and now i can circulate the usage of my knives. through your vids i'm done with s&w. now i'm carrying a sog flash1 for utility and a spyderco endura4 ffg for emergency tactical defense. great vids man keep it up more power...

  • Nutnfancy, I am not aiming that message towards you. It's for those people who make assumptions. lol

  • China is perfectly capable of producing products that are good as anywhere in the world... The only reason why some of the products that come out of there are poorly made is because the U.S. Corporations want to maximize profits. Which means using cheap materials in their product. People can blame the U.S. corporations for poor quality products coming out of China. I'm an American-born Chinese person and I hate how the topic of China products being cheap turns into a racial attack.

  • i love the fades

  • Always love the whip and the nerdy-accent. Man, Kershaw has made a good lineup. Definitely will pick up an EDC, probably leaning to a larger one for tactical use perhaps. Thanks for sharing! I like the magnifying glass because it does not have the issues of laggy focus and it gives a little sneak peak of Nutn's reflection and setup.

  • another great review nutn, but i cant get myself turned on to most kershaws anymore because they never have full flat grind, and they usually have strangely shaped weak pocket clips. I have bent several clips out on my scallion, leek, and chive BUT every single time i email kershaw telling them what happened and 2 days later i get a few more in the mail. Thats great customer service! Hey nutn keep up the good work, dont ever change!

  • Hey Nutnfancy! I can't believe you had, "THE NERVE," to review this knife. Budum chi! :D

  • Yo nutn. Ive noticed you never mention this, so im not sure if youre aware, but the reason why knives are hollow ground is not to primarily make knives lighter nor is it done to make them sharper. Its because hollow grinding is cheaper as it can be done on large grinding wheels rather than on a more expensive to maintain belt grinder

  • I've got a problem with my StormII---I LOST IT!!

BANG MY FACE WITH YOUR TABLE NUTN!

  • I wonder when Nutn will reach the point where all the "homemade" SFX, hokey pronounciations and slips of tounge culminate into incomprehensible gibberish.

    Nice review otherwise.

  • 6:50 again with the nutnfancy Sootch00 impression

  • Yay a vid that is not 50 minutes! lol Good vid, looking to purchase this soon. Keep these short and sweet vids coming!

  • Good review, I am surprised you have a knife with serration's .

  • I've had mine for well over a year now, and I agree, it's a great all around user knife. The unconventional blade shape is the only drawback, IMO - and then it's just an aesthetic issue. Great tip, good ergonomics, tough construction, COOL handle scales - all make it a great knife for the price, and awesome for EDC.

  • "Que stupid whip sound"

    Freakin hilarious....LMAO

  • " Knife suck cuuz its made in china Nutin"...as if!!! Like everything thats made in Germany is great...wrong. u could say the same about whats made in japan its got such a possitive stigma for the past made swords and knives that have florished...where did we get this all or nothin attitude? thats not what we fought for, HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY, luv ya nutn

  • Hey Nutn whats your take on using serrated blades in a combat roll. It is outlawed in war because of the damage it can do. As an "emergency defense" blade would you care if it had serrate? Just like to hear your opinion and ideas on the subject. Thank you and keep up the good work.

  • A little too much caffeine, Nutn? lol. Seriously though great review (as usual)! Oh, and never get rid of the whip noise! It's just so... "Nutnfancy"...

  • @nutnfancy Thanks Bro! We can't wait to see what you have in store...I sure enjoy watching your knife vids, keep up the great work and thanks got your service to our great nation!

  • Like these knives. Don't like the clip angle on the tip up carry. However, I could probably get use to it. I find with many knives and their oddities, I become used to them.

  • @Cr0cket20 Hey buddy. Thanks for weighing in. The value is smokin' on the Nerve and like you say, you can get used to things.

  • im totally against serrations. if your bladhe isnt sharp enough to cut through a seatbelt, then its probably a pencil that your using. serrations always get in the way

  • @garrettzkool63 I love the plain edges too...I think it comes down to a matter of sharpening usually.

  • @nutnfancy you probably wont read this, but i had an idea of maybe putting the serrations at the tip of the blade like on a steak knife. idk i have never tried that, but then maybe you will be able to widdle with the knife because its plain at the base, and maybe the serrations at the tip could help keep a fish from squirming away after you spear them? who knows im probably wrong haha

  • Love the redneck voice ROFL

  • Actually bought this knife almost a month ago and I love it. The shape and overall look is great, I like that they went with the plate instead of the thumbstud (Sometimes you just want variety) and I have had no issues with the plate getting stuck in my pocket as an earlier commenter predicted. I don't mind the weight and it was pretty sharp out of the box too. The only problem I had was with the clip which became loose easily.

  • @Paniro123 Great comment...thanks for your experience. It helps fortify the information here.

  • @nutnfancy Also notjustknives changed the name to Blitz just in case anyone was searching and couldn't find it.

  • Simply getting a close-up with your camera enlarges the knife image much better and bigger than the magnifying glass. The mag-glass pretty much...doesn't do it. IMO

  • @LVPG2010 Good to know, thanks man.

  • @nutnfancy Try investing in a jewelers glass. I've seen another user use it in their videos and it really does the trick over a large magnifying glass, including extremely high detail of the blade up close. You just put the jewelers lens over the camera's iris and it works great.

  • @nutnfancy perhaps a jewlers loupe would be more effective.

  • the WAPOOOOOSHSHSHSHSHS is awesome put more of those in there

  • Hey nutnfancy I think it would be awesome if you would do some reviews of your favorite knives at like the $100 price point. Not that I don't like the high value options that you are putting out, just like to learn more about the higher dollar options also. Thanks for all the great reviews, you are making me a knife junkie!

  • @15569903 Higher dollar offerings are on the reviewing plate. I will cover a lot of different options. Some real sick fixed blade options coming up.

  • love the sound effects. thanks for the vid nutn =]

  • nutnfancy you should check out any of the Spartan knives they have been in a few magazines but there a smallish business so not many people know about them. Both the designers were special forces, marines and army.

  • hey nutn i dont know if you get asked this alot but could you ever do a review on your gun safe like you wouldnt have to show any of your personal items but maybe show the storage, how big it is, the weight ect.... ya i think that would be a cool vid.

  • OMG! I was just looking at this knife on the way home from work. I stopped by Walmart to get some Shoe Goop. And I was about to pull the trigger on a new knife. Unfortunately all walmart has now is pictures of the knives they carry you have to get an associate to retreive the dangerous knife for you (oh and good luck finding someone) But for some reason the picture and price of the Nerve caught my Attention. IT MUST HAVE BEEN AN OMEN!

  • i don't like that ka bar models went from aus 8 to this chinese steel.i ve heard that its softer and can't hold edge.

  • @anestischatzibeis They didn't switch the MULE is still made in Taiwan out of AUS8 steel, the new G10 MULE is mad in China, out of 3CR13 Steel, essentially equivalent to 420 Stainless. It is a shame, as long as they never change their fighting knives (mainly USMC) though, I don't care.

  • @RuthlessZabusa yes you re right,but aus8 I think its equivalent to 440 stainless.so the change is a downside.

  • @anestischatzibeis No there wasn't a change, just a new product that is different. AUS8 is not equal to 440. 3CR13 is a more similar steel to 440. 440 and 3CR13 are both Chinese steels.

  • @RuthlessZabusa hmmm new product...its kabar mule.if you go on ebay to buy this cool blade, you ll buy now a cheap version with steel similar to 420J not 440 b or c as before.of course its a downside.AUS 6 is similar to 420J and aus8 to 440 b and C.just checked to be sure ;-) 3CR13 is 420 similar.personaly i m buying only 440c-aus8 folding knives.except victorinox ofcourse

  • "cue stupid whip sound" lmao!

  • 4 people hate the WAPOOOOSHHSSSSHHSSSHSHS

  • someone's a little gitty.

  • whapooshsssshhshshs! welcome.

  • hahaha "cue stupid whip sound - wh'chhhhhhhhhhh"

  • Ha ha right after Nutn did the "southern accent", you tube advertised Randy Travis!

  • Nutn has the greatest southern impersonations, and I'm from the south LOL!!

  • aparentley jimping = tactical in the nutnfancy ideology

  • @jackeddemon Absolutely not

  • "que stupid whip sound: kachuuuuuh"

love your revues nutn, keep em coming =)

  • The Chill is awesome.

2 oz @ a slim 3 inch blade? VERRY NICCE.

Good EDC at a pretty good price point.

  • Cool review, I would like to see the Kershaw Rake review, I know u like that knife lol

  • i just bought this knife a few days ago...and as soon as i did i looked for a nutnfancy review and it wasn't there...and look here it is lol thanks nutn love the reviews and i am also very happy with this knife been carrying it since i bought it

  • I carry the Kershaw skyline. How does it feel in comparison? TNP baby for life!!

JD update: currently obtaining my backpacking system. Kelt Super tioga in the mail!! Do you speak TNP?!¡!

  • TNP! Never say that the whip noise is stupid!!! It's that very sound that helps us loyal followers prepare for something amazing to hit the camera, and as always AMAZING job keep it up Nut'n!

  • I like the old school format

  • terrible serrations

  • If Kershaw is going to use this type of thumb opening device, then why not make it so it can be waved off the pocket???

  • As always, great review, but why did I get an ad for makeup before a Nutnfancy video?

  • That thumb stud "shelf" is mad ugly. It seems (visually) like it would catch in the pocket as the knife is drawn. I dunno.

I like the subdued pocket clip design, although prefer 3-screw clips over 2 screws.

  • What are "wizard of oz issues"?

  • @UnitedStatesOfMoney Stuff that looks goofy.

  • Great way to end a vacation, a review by Nutnfancy!

  • Im not a fan of the blade shape or the thumb place, but everything else seems good. Typical kershaw. Those serrations are my favorite though without a doubt. I would hate to have to sharpen them tho...

  • I love the old style knife reviews. And by the way I love the whip noises lol. For the people who dont I dont understand why. One of my favorite parts of TNP is Nutn's personality. Its what makes your chanel different. The atmosphere is just a type of fun you would have with a best friend. So keep doing the whip noise, being brutally honest, and saying "jimping", "tactical", "excellent" and "phospher bronze bushings" the way way you do. Its what keeps me coming back.

  • I guess I'm not a Kershaw guy cause this is yet another kershaw that doesn't blow my hair back. I really don't like the the blade shape and the deployment stud is really obnoxious and ugly. The offerings from spyderco and cold steel are more appealing to me. But, I love you Nutn and you still gave us a great video. Love your humor, passion and goofy sound effects. Love it when you do or say something funny then make fun of yourself.

  • hey nutnfancy do you know any US knife websites that will ship cheap to the UK?

  • @R1DDL3R666 Try Heinnie Hayes, they are a Uk company, their prices aint too bad, and the service is excellent. Plus they have lots and lots of knives to choose from :)

  • I feel lucky because we got a fade at the end.

  • Love the triple jimping on the handles. Is there a reason you went with the combo edge?

  • @donotstealmythunder Kershaw serrations are nearly the only serrations nutnfancy likes.

  • @Kylef7735 I know that. Just wanted to hear read his answer.

  • @donotstealmythunder i use heinnie hayes ther in the uk and have loads of knives.

  • "I hayt et nutn'fancy, that knyf suks" LOL.

Im not feeling the blade design on this one but the rear texture/jimp would be pretty nice for control.

  • fail

  • I LOVE KERSHAW

  • first

  • woah!
