It is easy to find text that represents a negative or angry view if that is what you are seeking. This clips creator is pulling random verses out of texts and ignoring the deeper meaning of the text when taken as a whole, which is a guidebook and a message of love. God loves us. As a person who's seen a lot of insanity in his life, making that leap of faith to become Christian over any other religion without evidence is too high a condition for me to meet. If I don't believe Jesus is God I'm going to hell, but if I do I'm going to hell according to Islam. Either way it's big risk and that's just taking those two religions in account. If we simply read the words of Jesus or Paul, they seem ridiculous, when we understand the parabolic nature of Jesus' rhetorical statements and the metaphors behind them, they are amazing. Any type of Enlightenment literalism, which comes out of Europe distorts the text.

Charity, the argument does not need to be that there are also many good things in the Bible. Not many atheists would argue that there are no good teachings. the problem is that there is great violence through out it. In the same way you say this video takes the writing out of context, one could say that you take the good parts out of context.
