As a parent of a child with autism this installation makes me incredibly annoyed. Not all children with autism avoid eye contact. In fact it is myths like these that encourage ignorance and stereotyping. I can't tell you how many times I've had family, friends and even strangers say "he doesn't have autism, he looks at me".
