When a plant is starving for light, it will stretch, trying to grow beyond whatever it thinks is blocking the light.

well its not a fertelizer but its a sugestion...collect some rain water...make sure the water you collect isnt the first rain youve had in a while or else its acid rain

don't use foil distributes heat and aluminum is bad for plants. just get some mylar and if that is to expensive just use white paint. its allot better than foil.

Remember to use aluminum foil and NOT TIN foil. aluminum foil reflects 75% as tin only reflects 40-60% and changes the spectrum of the reflection. Aluminum will only change the spectrum slightly but the better way is MATT PAINT on all walls, better still is mylar or polymylar.

If you have money then go for the chronium2 -sunturn aluminum sheet, it reflects 100% of whatever you shine on it with identical spectrum. £236($390usa) a sheet 2.5mtr x 1.5mtr

I don't doubt you can, the trouble a lot of people do have is getting hold of it in England, not many places have it over here and you have to by it in a roll, it is very expensive over here, the term horses for courses and do what you can is a better part of the pozit, if you look at -megastinkydogs- post with the reflectives..i don't see it making much difference in a closet, if you are going to sell it then maybe so, i used ali foil before and it made no difference to the outcome.

I have the same pots and you can get them 24'' from pot rim to terminal bud, they can grow bigger in them but the roots get bound too much, they are good for small rooms(closets) you need to watch the ''nutes'' carfully as the roots that are twisted at the base of the pots get burned by them so flushing inbetween watering is required, i do flushing twice in the full term, but i don't water for 7days after flushing.

6 or 7 inch are ok.
