Artist tend to try to 'Grow' and change up a great thing and find new composers....wrong move...we except and need the composers to grow, not the artist to change material completely. It's the holidays...she should give those guys the composed on the first cd a call. LOL
the sleeve of the album that comes with the cd. It tells the lyrics and who wrote each song. back in those days of bad boy there were a hand full of composers and a few writers, those writers were usually faith, big bub, jo jo and k ci hailey and mary and latonya blige. i use to put the my life cd booklet next to the faith booklet and see who wrote what and when. The chords in some of the some of the tracks were similar so i could tell the composer was the same. check it out.

can someone pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee post the song with Faith and 112 called I cant believe. when faith sings the lyrics..............lord let it please rain on my face so that it can wash away all my tears, if this is the house that love is in then let me leave cause I dont wanna be hurt like this again. Faith sends me through it everytime i hear it.

This CD NEVER lets me down. Faith has gotten me through every single heartbreak since high school. Female vocalists just can't do it like this anymore! No one sings ballads anymore! WHY?!?!

(Part 2) When You Look At It This Album Hit So Hard Because Faith Was Only Known Before Her Debut As A Very Talented Songwriter. As Gifted As She Was Penning Passion On Paper I Don't Think ANY Of Us Knew What She Had Cooking Up In The Kitchen. And While "You Used To Love Me" Was The Debut Single And Then "Ain't Nobody" Following You Could Say That She Could Have Made Singles For At Least 7 Songs From The Album (Remember She Only Did 3 Vids For It). But "Reasons" Should Have Gotten A Release

First Off I Want To Give Thanks To Everybody Who Appreciated My Commentary On This. So Nice I Had To Do It Again. When You Look Back At The 1995 Time Of R&B (And The Segue To It From '94) You Had Some Great Talent. Usher, Vybe, Drama, Groove Theory And Such. But Faith's Debut Probaly Epitomized The Essence Of That Era. Her Debut Was The Blueprint (And Hands Down The Best Soul Release Of That Year). It Was Smooth, Sultry, Grown And Sexy (Before The Term Was Coined) And Ripe With Visceral Emotion

@Bluexhox yea faith's first album was a classic and it is one of my favorite abums of all time they dont make great albums anymore R&B sucks nowadays now artists wanna use autotune and that other crap and this comming from a 16 year old i appreciate good music.

@batmansouth-I Won't Argue With You About The Illness Of Her Second Album In Any Way...lol While Her Second Album Was Definitely Fire Her First Opus Fully Capured The Astetic Of What The 90's R&B Sound Encapsulated. Definitely One Of The Elite Works Of Any Record That Came Out Circa 1990-95. "Keep The Faith" Was Not A Dissapointment By Any Means But As I Said She She The Bar Damn High With Her Heat She Handed To Us When She Debuted. It's Hard To Top Something That Sensational....

I believe you are right. Artist tend to try to 'Grow' and change up a great thing and find new composers....wrong move...we except and need the composers to grow, not the artist to change material completely. She's still my girl, until the end, but i am one of those 'read the booklet' cd collecters...i got over 1500, i know what i'm talking about. It's the holidays...she should give those guys the composed on the first cd a call. LOL

the sleeve of the album that comes with the cd. It tells the lyrics and who wrote each song. back in those days of bad boy there were a hand full of composers and a few writers, those writers were usually faith, big bub, jo jo and k ci hailey and mary and latonya blige. i use to put the my life cd booklet next to the faith booklet and see who wrote what and when. The chords in some of the some of the tracks were similar so i could tell the composer was the same. check it out.
