if U2 were playing live between 1992-1995 in Sarajevo/Bosnia i wouldve stayed on the hills and sniped each one of them for having tasteless boring horrible music.

I was in a bar in the states, I met a group of serbian/americans. Sound enough blokes, we just happened to stumble upon the yugoslav wars and the lads were trying to justify the war crimes that were committed and even denied some of them. If people want to stop war they must resist, they must come out on the streets against it, they must force their politicians to bend to their will - if battles are to be fought let them be fought around a negotiating table, not through the mechanized slaughter of innocents. No more Sarajevos.

My favorite actress and her husband were forced to leave Yugoslavia basically because she refused to take sides in the war. She's a Croatian with Jewish roots, her husband is a Serb. i do not really believe that the citizens of the united states are on a better condition than the ones that lived in the so called "socialistic" societies of soviet union(i will strongly argue about the socialist nature of these regimes). especially in the USA you can see the social discrimination that is based upon wealth. a lot of people there are poor.

Imali svo naourzanje od JNA, Bosanci se branili bez ikakvog oruzija. Najupecatljivija mi je bila prva odbrana Grbavice, onda Srebrenica te Zuc. Cetnici su ubili dosta Hrvatskog i Bosanskog civilnog stanovnistva, al' je bilo i ubijanja Srba cemu se protivim. Isto tako smatram da treba sve ustase, cetnike , "muslimanske nacionaliste" sve to treba...

My favorite actress and her husband were forced to leave Yugoslavia basically because she refused to take sides in the war. She's a Croatian with Jewish roots, her husband is a Serb. She used to be highly regarded and won 3 of Yugoslavia's equivalent of the Oscars. Then this war came along and the press just went after her.

I am Croat, which means that I could have a reason or two to dislike (hate?) Bosnians and their fundamentalism. But I can only support saralika that Bosnians are not a nation of fundamentalists. They are as liberal, proud, stupid, biased and silly nation as every other. But they have something unwritten in their heads, something that makes Sarajevo's miss so beautiful. i do not really believe that the citizens of the united states are on a better condition than the ones that lived in the so called "socialistic" societies of soviet union(i will strongly argue about the socialist nature of these regimes). especially in the USA you can see the social discrimination that is based upon wealth. a lot of people there are poor.
