i just got the newer model of this case and i have no complaints at all..

the shelf is now reinforced and doesnt flex, it also slides a lot better.

only thing is that mine is assembled a little wonky

some of the assembly isn't even,

i got my ns7 now im lookin for a case for it. debating between the numark case of the odysseys glide style. im lookin more towards the odysse but i have the nsfx as well does that fit with the glide style case. if you know let me know ASAP please thanks for the helpful vid keep spinnin

Dj Esco, with my idea (and I wished i had the great mind to program the USB drivers to do this is) To control Scratch Live with the NS7 or the Itch (the irrelevant way), it would require re-programming/ building new hacked NS7 ITCH drivers to achieve this. Or Hex editing the SSL drivers and patching the NS7 drivers to the SSL software. If i was a software programmer or reverse engineer, I would have done this already. Of course, the lawyers from Serato would hunt me down also if I did it! =P

The only key diffrence between the two is SL currently has video capability vs I.T.C.H. does not. As far as everything else I.T.C.H. has become closely simular to S.L.

I do expect I.T.C.H. to support video (at least I hope they release this feature SOON!!!!!!) <-note I am in no way saying it has been done, but it seems very well possible since you can play the audio in video files on I.T.C.H. (st least the latest releases. ;)

@djesco075 Lol, I've already known this for the longest time, that's how I do my INSTANT requests at house parties. I ask for teh wireless password first to log on to the internet and youtube. If I don't have a song they ask for, I ask them if it's on youtube, they say yes, do a search and download the song with videodownloadhelper with firefox, and i instantly play the song right afterwards. That's why i love itch for the mp4 files, but hate SSL for not playing them without video plugin.

Will the FX bar fit and be able to be used with that type of case? I would prefer this case over Numark's if it fit the FX bar and was able to see/use it

Does fit but you have to move the tray all the way back.

The only thing I don't like about that case Is the flight tray being in the way from the keyboard when potentially trying to search for requested songs. I know that's what the keyboard feature is for but that more crap I need to carry.

hi i wanted to know if with the ns7 i can also use serato scratch live through the audio interface or directly into the usb port the ns7 brings.

@DELMAAYALA, nope, cannot be used with Scratch Live but with ITCH, it will read all cue points and Crates you created with SSL. Believe me, I've tried the same thing with the audio interface, it simply doesnt work.

I am wondering if you run the itch software and open the time coded mp3 files on it then use another system (laptop etc) to run Serato Scratch Live taking the output signal from the NS7 (Like I said I have not tried but wonder if anyone tried this method?)

in theory it should (I would guess) buy using the time encoded files (mp3 or wav)

then connecting the SL Rane to the out put and then the SL output to your amps.

But you pointed out few concerns I had and didn't know.

1. With my 13 inch macbook, will I be able to place my laptop like yours with the top table pushed all the way to the back?

2. The issue with the table being weak on the back, can you add reinforcement to it?

3. Is the 90 degree angle in the front and back of the case a big deal? What do can I do that can affect the odyssey 90 but not the 45 degree angle.

You will be safe and stable up to one 1.6 inch of track left (with out moddification)

Yes you can reinforce without loss of function.

Only the rear is a pain in the butt. (Wire access and connections on the rear)

Yes you can use the Non Numark case . You will have to pull the top tray all the way back \(not off but back) or removed. Also keep in mind the Numark tray does have better design for clearences on rear connections and cables. in addition a friendlier edge in the front (90 degree versus the 45) the 90 tends to some what poke you when reaching over. its a give and take.

Bro on the case can u fit a monster 3500 conditioner at the bottom instead of the keyboard and slide tray??? i would love to have the entire setup in one case and not have the conditioner in another case...thanks for your help...

I didnt get Numark's because I got a good deal at the time I could not pass up from a friend.

This one is made specifically for the NS7 too. Its just not the Numark brand.

I did get a chance to see Numark's Case today and i will say I did like a few things about it. Although both have wheels and are based on a split pod design they do differentiate from each other significantly.

I asked DJ Ruco if he can post a review on it for us (since he owns one).
