@wizman664 read the letter that's there and you'll understand.

A man goes there with the wooden mask looking for that special mask you get when you collect them all but is killed by the thugs he hired to get him there.

This happens only a few years before your characters time.

It could even be that the dragon room that you place the masks is in an alternate reality although most likely it's just a couple of thousand years before that skeleton gets placed there.

Look, I know that Konahrik isn't THAT much big of a deal, but unless if your carrying capacity is beneath a 250, and/or if you don't have a place to store the mask's, you should keep them! You can improve them all and sell them later AFTER you got and improved Konahrik! Then you can either sell Konakrik with the rest of the mask's or keep it if you want to! Best of both world's!

There really needs to be an alternate way to get to Skuldafn so one can return at a higher level... I just don't know why I am expected to fight a dragon priest, an elder dragon, and a frost dragon all at once.

@botcatman what? this isnt Skuldafn(in the Rift)... this is the Labyrinthian's past (Whiterun/Hjaalmarch). Just remove the wooden mask to return to the present.

@TheHubernator I think he means that you can't get back to skuldafn after the completion of the main quest line, so theres only one chance of getting the dragon priest mask there.

These masks are only strong early game, later the double enchantments with grand souls are better even without exploiting.

Im assuming that if you do drop it there than you are teleported back to the past and you cant get the wooden mask back, nor can you get anything you left there.

For the ultimate mask its got a pretty lame perk. Theres only a chance itll heal you and hurt your enemies. Maybe if it was garunteed to do it but only like once a day. Then it would be allright. But even then its crap for THE dragon preist mask. It should do some combination of all the masks combined.

Um, can someone help me? I bought this game new, I beat the game, I did a bunch of side quests for a bit, collect ALL 8 masks and when I get here, the wooden mask isn't there...could someone help please? Or have I been screwed out of getting the final mask?

@Silvershenlong if your on pc you could give yourself one by opening the cheat menu with " ~ " then type help "wooden mask" 4 it should print a code a few line ups. use this code in the following player.additem ******** (thats were you put the number) 1. (remeber the one on the end or it wont work.

Do you get the matching set bonus wearing Konahrik with any armorset, because you do get the matching set bonus with Nahkriin (has same stats (- the enchantement) as a daedric helm) wearing it with daedric armor.
