How did you get that long replay data? Isn't maximum lenght of replay just 180secs?

Come to Mother 2 -server, it's 24/7 practice run on Nordschleife and there's drifters also driving. (Unfortunately no M3 Mod, but Viper will do :P )

It is not from replay, I recorded when driving, that is why the video quality is so low.

Btw, is that original M3 mod or the one with more power? Nice drifting indeed, did it need much car setup adjustment for bmw?

@spunFIN I recorded that at replay gallery. There, the replays have no time limitations. Then with a video editing program I place the 2 vids together.

Yes, is the original mod, the setup needs less camber on the rear, and a bit more pressure, max steering angle. I don't remember.. I can't even do this anymore hahah, since I started to drift with the BMW E46 from WTCC, it is easier and has more power, it is more realistic too.

nice driving .... but the physics of the game are heavily unrealistic at 1:29 the part begins wit a small hill u have to steer at mid-speed , then u can push it but have to break before edge of the hill so u dont jump over the right turn, but in ur game u can drive all of that full-throttle ... but ur drifting is nice

Nice for a practice run, dude! At 5:07 I was thinking, MAN, how come he didn't drift along the RIM of the dip in the Carrousel corner...I mean, what a spectacular scene THAT would've been LOL, but i understand the risks of getting it wrong in THAT corner, cause if you were to hook the dip in the wrong way -or at all- while drifting along the outside it might severely upset the momentum- i'm thinking, spinout or just bouncing off the pavement, lol. Too bad they didnt change the steering lock-to-lock to like 900 degrees like in real life... cause this would make the feel more realistic.

The steering lock on the g25 is 900 but in gtr evo you can't have 900 degrees "on the screen"....

No site Nogrip, é uma cnoversão direta do simulador da BMW, que é igual o GTR2, só que só com BMW.

not bad, but now try to set your steering angl on max (33°) and not at the mini. yeah the aim of a drift is to brake contrary to the road direction, but before all the car must be inclinated so much, just for pleasure of eyes !! ;)

I will try but my real problem is the setup... i don't know if i should use the default or change something... hehe i really don't know about drift setups, i was trying today with 30º and 900º on the wheel.

setup the wheel don't matter, this is just for comfort if you want steering a lot or not. the important is the setup of your car in the game, and mainly the "angle de braquage" (my game is in french configuration, but in english i think you can find it called "steering angl" or something like this. anyway it places on the third part of the garage "general") : and put this option on maximum (33° usually, and 38 for catherams, radical and f3000).

drift is so much better when you steering a lot ;)

This is with a drift mod if it comes from nogrip. When you love drifting, you will need to take a look at the Audi RS4 addon. 4WD drifting is much more fun :P

How do you have it set up in the profiler and ingame?

In don't use the profiler, just the windows "game controllers" at control panel..

240º and check the box "let the game configure" or something.. I really don't know the words, because my windows is in portuguese.

Then in game its almost all default, all sensitive like steering set to 50%, all dead zones set to 0% and that is all. =D

I think I'm going to get this game tomorrow. I still play gtr 1, but handling is too extrem. It's supposed to be realistic, but no car really handles like that in real. I played the gtr evo demo and I liked the handling much better.

I think Evo is a good choice for sure, in GTR1 like you have said its too extreme, but in GTR2 its more "smooth". Now in GTRE, with a lot more telemetry data the driving is very close to the ideal. I don't speak english very well...

Rear: Medium tyres; camber 1,5; height 11;

pressure 170 kpa

Overall: Preload 5; Lock 0; Coast 50; 35 liters); Steering Lock 15; Radiator 3; Ducts 2; Brake force: 98%

Brake distribution: Front: 62 Rear: 38

If you loose the rear, brake enough to lock the wheels, so the front will slide and point foward again.

I don't speak english very well haha...
