  • who wood do this to a shelby gt500 and daytona

  • Great sound trac!! Lots of project cars there, nice to see them re-born.....

OTLEY Iowa, That little town is FULL OF MOPARS more dead cars than live

I think every house there has at least a half dozen or more in every yard!

  • Its sad to see that we live in an era of "if its broke replace it with a new one" what a shame i try to do my best and collect these kinds of cars and rebirth them but theres only so much one man can do plus it gets pretty expensive :)

  • It just shows what some people think of the history of those cars...

  • I used to have an amx, but a friend of mine totaled it in an car accident.

  • Omg a Mustang Shelby 500 at 0:21

  • It breaks my heart to see someone let that GT 500 go to crap like that but that goes for any muscle car

  • As you can see, the cars americans refer to as "muscle-cars" are really junk!

  • lets save all this old muscle cars

  • omg i really love all muscle cars and ... :( i hate to see this cars in this condition :|

  • what is the car at 2:58 ?

  • oh, my. there still is alot of good saveable cars in there. plus lots of good parts. whats wrong with people?? not only good money going to waste, plus the parts & cars. wake up!

  • what car is that at 2;54

  • music sucks

  • i was at my buds one day and he had told me he had a firebird and i belived him. when he showed me the firebird, out side uncovered and driver window down. i totally yelled at him and said i was adopting it and i bought a tarp for it. the motor is gone, but the frame is PERFECT!! no rust at all!! i got some pics of it im going to put on a site and i will put the link on here once it is up! it is a mid to late '70s firebird, cant tell the year cuz the front bumper and rear bumper r gone.

  • Hope that Shelby convert was saved!

  • @ 4:37 i had a coronet just like that it was a barn find coronet 440 2 dr ht with the original slant six

  • im proud to say i have saved at least one camaro from the scap heap (78 rust bucket) now turned my daily driver, she isnt all that pretty, fast, and likes to drink gas, but i love her =D now my 79 camaro...thats just quick, and to think someone was going to crush her!!! with a 1/4 mile time of 11 seconds i cant see why! lol

  • what no novas i got my self a 74 nova ss old and beat up but runs the wiring is almost totalled and interior consits of a bucket to sit on while driving and thats it but its got a almost new 454 big block with a racing tranny and possitrack rear end, so im gunna devote my next few years to getting it looking good a fine example of american muscle i would say

  • @idependentconspiracy I remember about ten of fifteen years ago I bought a volkswagen gti off this guy here in Pa for a work car. As he was showing the car, I saw in the back of this huge garage he had a Yenko Nova couldn't believe my eyes! Dark blue with the white yenko strie down the side. Asked him if it was for sale and got the same answer as every other guy tells you "I'm gonna restore it someday." Never knew what happened with it, probably still sitting in that garage.

  • @EnemyKnown ya probably, i really respect someone that actually does restore a car if he/she says there going to, i love videos of those cars before and after lol

  • People are dumb to let shit just sit and rust. Rust so bad till its not worth fixing. I know of a 1969 Big Block Nova SS. Has been sitting under a garage owning outside since 1969.Might as well be outside lol. Car has less then 2,000 miles on it.Parents son owns it he got killed in Nam. Sombody over the years stole the hood off it. Its starting to look bad but very easy restorable. Nope thay will not sell it. I went up with $20,000 cash. dumb cause it is ruff.ITS DUMB TO LEAVE IT GO TO SHIT!!!

  • this what happen when japanese cars inavade u.s roads...

  • now this just looks wrong...

  • 1:20 Just install new performance packages, possibly a supercharger, restore it, re-paint it, install some American racing rims. GOOD AS NEW

  • Thanks for that. It brought back fond memories of my misspent youth.

AMC was well represented. I had a slough of '68-'69 Javelin's & AMX's starting with my first car, a '68 Javelin. At age 16, I switched that car from an automatic to a 4 speed & dumped the 304(originally a 290 car) for a healthy 390. Too much fun. Trunions(sp?) were the death of those cars. They were what the front springs mounted to at the bottom. When they wore out, the spring would bow out to the side. Unnerving.

  • 0:53 That would have been beautiful.

  • some people just dont have a heart

  • a lot off nice Cars ! V8 Power

  • some muscle in there but mostly just dodges and plymouths

  • that fucking president needs to give us a tax credit for restoring old mucle then they want have to bail out the crap making car manuf.

  • I'd give 20 years off my life to have a chance of saving just one of those old american birds ...

  • @ITS4390 me to

  • @ITS4390 i claimed amandonment on a 1996 dodge charger and now its in my garage getting ready for paint. if u see a car try to claim abandonment i cant remember how long car has to be there but i got my fav car :D

  • @ITS4390 Bold statement.

  • 1:57 isint rotting, it gets driven

  • Manufacturers need to go back to the old times and start making rides like tihs again. Not sorta of like these or close to, but right down to the frame. Get rid of the pollution control crap and electronics. They have enough money, and it's very possible. American muscle is dying slowly and it's ver sad. There is a demand out there, and it needs to be done.

  • we can replace all the new shit cars with these legends!!!!!!!!!!METALLICA BITCHHHH

  • car at 3:43

  • whats at 0:30 and 1:02

  • whats at 2:55? its kinda ugly.

  • @TheRedRancher 1970 or 71 Mercury Cyclone Spoiler. Not sure which year exactly.

  • my goal in life is to restore these cars to their original glory, no matter the cost and take em all on Route 66

  • At 0:55 what make/model/year is that?? Looks badass even aged.

  • @SkidRock088

    Dodge challenger.....it's between a 72-74

  • @cardude11111 '74 i think, '72's and '73's i think had those huge block looking things on the front bumper.

  • @SkidRock088 want an even more badass mopar? 4:10 ..... that things probably worth 75 grand just as it sits in this video, can't tell if its a Daytona or a Superbird, but either way its a bullit man

  • @ITS4390 It's a daytona....i can tell my the front end

  • @cardude11111 that or a Super bird.

  • @ITS4390 EVEN IF ITS REAL ITS NOT WORTH 20GRAND

  • @ITS4390 with a 440 its worthless with a hemi its worth 70-74 in fine condishin i hope i answed your question

  • skidrock one word motorcraft

  • @SkidRock088 that is a 72/73/or 74 dodge challenger...and yea its a nice ride

  • @SkidRock088 ITS A 70-73

  • @SkidRock088 i know that thing looks badass. its the 1972-1974 dodge challenger

  • Why are ppl so cruel to beautiful cars. some of these look like they are still good

  • what is the 4th and 7th car

  • if there has been a pic taken im sure its already been picked up and is being or already is restored

  • The Boss in the beginning. Can you tell me where that car is? I am VERY interested in picking it up. I'll give you a little something too if you can give me any info as to where it it.

  • do you know where any of these cars are? id like to help to either buy some or help them go to good homes?

  • This is sad. There is still hope for most if not all of these. My '69 Nova was rotting on the edge of the woods behind some dumpsters at a recycling place when I found it. 3 grand in parts and some hard work and she's almost ready to run again. More people should do what I did and save these cars from extinction.

  • amen, same with are vw ghia and 66 mustang both were at an old farm rotting away now the mustang is almost show and the ghia is running everybody should save these poor cars

  • I agree. We had an old 69 GTO. we couldnt keep it anymore due to money issues so we had to sell it. The person who bought it made it look like it just rolled off the lot. So many cars here can be saved. Its just a shame noone is trying too save them.

  • Poor Boss 302 at the beginnning and then a GT500 WTF!!! If I knew where that GT%00 convert was it'd be mine

  • In the day, the country was awash in 340 Dusters. The were everywhere. And some had interesting paint. One of these is at 1:17 with its' 340 Wedge hood. There weren't many around. On the Cars albun 'Candy O' you can see one. This video has quite afew desireable cars. Alot of AMX's. I like'm all. I think the shot at 0:56 says it all for the working man. Trying to hang on to your youth while living in the real world. Just never enough money.

  • AMC Rebel. It's got the 'Machine' hood scoop on it. Probably a copy cat.

  • Ok, I am a big FMC fan, and It nearly made me faint to see that Yellow Mach 1 (very first photo) and the '69 or '70 Shelby GT500 convertible sitting there to rot.. Sadly, we cant restore 'em all, but we can damn sure get close. My dad and grandpa have resurrected some shit worse than these cars before.

  • What is that at :43?

  • looks like a plymouth duster to me. could be wrong though.

  • Late 60s AMC Rebel... Very rare car.

  • song?

  • metallica- for whom the bell tolls

  • is the car at 0:27 a shelby?

  • u mean at 0:20?.....if so ya it is

  • thats a real shame, what a beautiful car:(

  • Ya i think it is too

  • I think it is cause i saw a Gt 500 in the front left corner

  • 0:27 is a AMC Javelin i let me take a stab at the yr? 1968 is my guess

  • @kgkleader mabey im not 100%

  • @kgkleader on the year

  • oh my god, my heart bleeds when i look at them.

  • mine to

  • @knifipu hearts already bleed dumbass

  • 70 boss 302, 69 gt 500, and many more it makes me sick seeing rare cars like these rot

  • me to.....im tryin to get my hands on a 1970 mustang.......the guy wants $100 for it but its in the forest and im only 17 so i have no funds to fix it :(

  • It might be worth it to get it out and resell it to someone who can afford a project.

  • this makes me sad ,

  • that fat p*** michael moore probably got an erection. seriously, what a waste.

  • lol

  • metalica, good choice.

  • thanx...thier my favorite band

  • lol, same here.

  • he would probably sell every car accept the one running nomad and one of the 56 chevys which belonged to my dads brother who was shot and died when he was only 13.

  • make some vids of them

  • it pains me to say this but my grandpa has alot of these old beautys layin around. he has two 1956 chevy nomads (rare) 8 other 56 chevys. a 66 mustang convertible. a 66? falcon with a 327 a 4 speed and a rear out of a 57 chevy (super cool) a 76 monte carlo. a 69 camaro ss. a 67 mustang fastback. and a 72 chevelle ss 396 with a 4 speed. out of all of these only one nomad and the monte are on the street. the rest arent real bad but are getting there. my dad also has a 67mustang coupe there. 289v8

  • 2:59 hella rare :(

  • oohhhh damnn, ..... where are all the american car pimpers we see here in germany on TV ????

  • where are all the German VW pimpers we see here on american t.v

  • that does suck they sit there its more fucked up that the cars from the late 60's through the early 70's still get wrecked in the demo derby alot of cars are near perfect these morons smash up why wouldnt they use a pice of shit instead of something nice anyways i think people that like old cars better start going to estate sales you can get 1 realy cheap like 1,800 thats not bad for something with no miles lol.....

  • it isn't that sad, if you looked at what my impala was 4 years ago it would have fitted perfectly in your vid.

spend about 10.000euro on it and now it steals the show from the streets to the lowrider car shows... there's always hope

  • yes there is

  • @OGRM The Impala is sadly one of the most underrated muscle cars in my book. 409's and 348's are all but forgotten now. The beach boys even wrote a song about them, yet it seems there's little care for them except X-Frame lovers. If i go to a car show here, I'm one of the only guys there with an Impala. most will even ask if the 409 is a big block or a period correct motor.

  • nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

  • the car in 0:16 are those bullet holes in the door?

  • From what i read...the person used it for target practice.

  • hey, did you use the pics from carsinbarns?? i love that site!

  • yeah.... I love the site to... but i wish they would up date it more often

  • only a few pics for this vid but the other one is all cars in barns.

  • bring tears to my eyes, especially seeing the shelby at the beginning

  • me to... and it's actualy a 1969-70 mach 1.

  • 1970 'stang mach 1, I know my mustangs

  • o the blue one.... I thought u meant the yellow mach 1 at the beginning

  • u could buy it then rebuild it with new engine and you'll have to strengthen up the body tho!

  • you would havw to

  • to much money to fix em.

  • Every year these cars are dwindling down!!

  • It's a sad site to see.

  • i took the 1970 mercury cyclone spoiler home

  • Kick ass man. I'd love to restore an old car but Im 16 and dont have the funds.
