  • nice setup

  • if i get paid a dollar for every pixel in this video, i would earn a quarter

  • To all those dissing Indys....these are great for getting around on, carving, and riding pools. Independent makes quality kit. So what if they look bad, If you don't like the way they look, pain 'em(it'll only get scratched off anyways), or don't buy them. No you can't use these on a skateboard, as 215s are way to wide for that. I'm sure the'll bolt up though.

  • yo i like ur deck its sexy:)

  • good setup for cruzing

  • indies on a longboard come on man chuck em on a skateboard

  • @0ldb0iz y3r st00pid

  • nice setup check mine out

  • do the trucks usually come with the nuts and bolts

  • where did u buy it

  • does it come with the tool?

  • how long do ur bearings spin for? when i got mine they went for 2.15

  • @thomsoba what difference does it make really??? douche

  • that's the same tool i have and the color's also the same

  • i got abec 7

  • GO SLOWER FUKER

  • how much did this setup cost?

  • Oh Gosh! BAD Set up! Loaded Randal 180's Grippens. That's what you need!

  • @chikonn5 um no thankyou!! indy for life!

  • booooo!! get original or landyachtz!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @SE4GY7 booo go get a shotgun and kill your friends, because they don't have the same board as you do :D

  • WOW thosae trucks look like crap... buy some sidewindeers or some paris...

  • hey do you kno if the barfoot banana board is any good. im looking into it but i cant find any reviews on it

  • my cousin has those wheels. theyre tha shit

  • hey, im looking to buy some trucks, but i have the sector 9 carbonite board, and it kinda seems confusing to put trucks on. can someone help me? the board is designed to fit many kinds of trucks. go ahead and call me a noob cause ive been longboarding only for 3 or 4 months now.

  • indy 215mm's?

  • I fim skaters. I was thinking... maybe it would be better to use a longboard while filming.

  • Great choice of music. Fun to watch too.

  • indes suck go with the gullwing stalker or sidewinder

  • that board looks like a wheelbite waiting to happen.

  • indy trucks suck. go with randals, they come with urethane bushings now :)

  • man indies rock! i have them on my pipeline with 1/2" angled riser and its sex. Id rather have these indies than randalls or paris

  • each to their own, i guess. hah. looking back, i regret posting this comment. its all personal pref. but i like randals the best. but thats just me :D

  • @fighter1pilot

uhm nooo................just...no. i dont even like loaded(go original!)but i still know randals are infinite-and-a-bit better than indies.

  • what do you ride? i like carvy surfy feel and randals arent just the right movement for this. Get out there and try more setups and youll learn: indy= king for flats/suck downhill

    randal= best for all around

its all about personal preference but i will never give my indys up for randal

  • @FowlicBomb bear trucks and randals are the same but different lol URETHANE FTW

  • @FowlicBomb no indys have been around for years and they are lower to the ground which means they have more stubility

  • where did you get the scews and bolts

  • to achieve the more sufier feel, you could try doubling the cone barrel on ur trucks...keep the barrel as it is and change the top one to as soft as you can get but keep in mind that this is only gud for carving...bombing hills with soft bushes = speed wobble= fail

to double up bushings, take the wider side of each cone bushing, put them together, then put it onto ur kingpin...u might need a bigger kingpin to be able to do this...

    any comments/??

  • thank you. to any one who has the means and stibillity is some thing that you are after get a landyahtz iv done about 50mph without speed wobbles and they dbl for a luge board

  • Are those the Independent Stage 10 trucks on 9"?

  • on my longboard i just have normal trucks with a bot not a kingpin. how would i get more or a surf feel to it

  • is it easier to skate with a long board or a regular board?

  • i skated a short board nonstop for three years neglect the fact i'v been on off wood since i could walk but i digress after my short board time i still could not do any tricks but i love to go fast and thats wear longboarding rocks

  • that and longboard wheels just make the ride a load better.

  • I agree with anickjaymes - shortboards for tricks and vert, longboards for bombing, carving, some flatland tricks, and transit. Naturally, a longer board will give you more stability and longboard trucks are made to turn better than shortboards', and the bigger wheels on longboards will let you go faster with less effort. But for flatland tricks and vert, shortboards all the way

  • do i have to skate with bearing spacers or is it alright not to?

  • i do it without it works either way

  • wrong. YOU SHOULD use spacers dude. They prolong the lifespan of your bearings and help you go faster since they make sure your wheels run true and straight. Use them, you'll notice a difference.

  • my set up is mini logo trucks ceramic bones bearings gumball wheels and krown torpedo deck

  • I used to skate on a setup that was no different than a longboard, the only difference was the deck. I had an 8.5 navy blue mini logo deck, 149mm independent raw trucks, some red 1/2" risers, 1 1/2" shorty hardware, bones swiss bearings, blue sector 9 65mm wheels, and mob grip tape. I cruised around everywhere on that board.

  • dont waste ur time on anything else. Sector 9 is the way too go. best centre of gravity which allows more speed.

  • Get Bones Swiss if you can afford them

  • Bones Swiss are alright but very expensive go with Rockin rons ballistech missiles, or just good rockin ron bearings

  • bones reds are just as good, and cheaper then bones swiss. i don't really care about bearings, they don't really make much of a difference to me

  • loaded boards are the best

  • personal preference my man

  • thats a board for cruisin

  • hey r gumballs good for sliding?????

  • any wheel can be used for sliding if broken in, but no, gumbals are not made for sliding.

  • Do you know where I could get a ceep biginger longboard? (in pounds i live in england!) I skate normaly. But im more a speed person so...w/b

  • what are the best bearings for crusin and less kick push?

  • ive heard a lot of good things about the bones reds =]

  • oops i ment best

  • nice bones reds bearing are the ebst ftw hey by the were did you get your wheels and board?

  • you should press the bearings in using the trucks or else the oil will squeeze out

  • im thinking about buying new bearings for my s9 carbon trylam, along with new trucks (seismic 155mm (45 degree's) and abec 11 grippins. do u think this would work good? or should i keep my old bearings (=abec 7 that came with the board when i bought it)

    Thanks in advance!

  • Get New Ones, Try another type of Bearing and See Which you Like Better

  • good old independants

  • what are thoose trucks looks like crap

  • lmao they are independents and they ride alright if you just ride from point A to point B

  • @maninahole what indy`s are those?

  • @maninahole Have you heard of indie conversion kits? they allow you to use longboard bushings. It feels amazing on a dropped through deck. Its amazingly low

  • @yourcrapp Independent 215's are some of the most versatile trucks on the market for longboarding. I absolutely love them. Won't replace my Paris or Gunmetals, but still awesome trucks. New bushings and your solid.

  • @yourcrapp You obviously dont understand jack shit about trucks... Not the best choice for longboarding but indies are some of the best trucks out there.

  • my buddy has those wheels, they are so smooth. Abec 11 wheels are the smoothest i have ever ridden on.

  • yeah they are sweeeeet =p

  • are barfoot boards good? I'm looking for my first long board and i like the pintail one.

  • i think they're good depending on what you want to use it for. i mainly use mine for cruising and getting from place to place rather than tricks

  • get a sector 9 their the best.

  • sure if u lik shitty boards that suck

  • nice board

  • thankyou =]

  • china reds, booo

  • yeah booo, unless you keep the maintanance on them up

    plus they're cheap =]

  • sweet board. im getting gumballs tomorrow.

  • yeah they are sweet. they are sturdy and roll over pretty much anything lol.

if you like riding hills then they are perfect.

  • yo yo whats the song?

  • The Cure!!!

  • ahh i knew it i just cudnt member haha chears xx

  • reds suck dont get them

  • yeah i have to keep greasing them

  • the board reminds me of an arbor when you first pull it out. :P

  • what is taht truck band?

  • independent

  • Thanks dudehow long are they??how much?planing to put bigger trucks and soft big wheels in a small board ,,Hosoi 8.5 and 84,5 or an Alva 10 and 34, I know they are not long boards, but I want trucks and wheels to ride on a very rough floor with lots of cracks and bumps with lost of vibration, do u think is a good idea to install long trucks and softer big wheels in those boards I mentioned? recomend me the best wheels to ride on a very rough and uneven concrete surface.

  • thanks for the comment man

they are the independent 215 trucks and they are 10" wide. im not to sure what they would feel like on the boards you mentioned. if you want a big wheel thats soft, then i suggest you look at the ABEC 11 GUMBALLS i have a set and they ride over cracks, bumbs and uneven surfices easily no sweat. mine are a 78a but you can get them in 75a which is super soft, and they are also a very popular wheel

  • oK abec 11 gumballs. I know I shoould have 75a Hardness, what diameter? the bigger and softfer means the better to ride on uneven surfaces reducing vibration totally? or there is no wheel that can do that and they just can take uneven surfaces for a few meters?,visit my scrapdrift utube please, check "powel peralta and truck performance video" and imagine a floor 4 times uneven than the one Iam riding there after going down the slope and let me know an opinion,

  • they are 75mm diameter. the bigger the wheel and softer the easier it is to ride over shitty surfaces. the surface in that video was pretty shitty for 97a wheels (compound of skate whhels), but gumballs would work well on it. my 78a ride over stuff fine but the softer the wheel, the more the drag there is going to be. gumballs are great for pretty much any type of surface.

i really do think gumballs would be capable of what you are describing with there

    any questions just ask?

    thanks

    ollie

  • Thanks 4 ur answers again dude,Ive been away for some weeks,Im bk,u said"but the softer the wheel, the more the drag there is going to be"u mean drag like scratching the surface?drag like endurance,or drag like lagging?.Im confused with those terms sorry, use dummy language pls 2 explain me differences of sof wheels and hard, tell me about better abec bearings 2 use according wheel size.3,5,7? Thxs again dude

  • gumballs only come in one size... They just vary in hardness.

  • abec1 11 and satori both make i thing soft wheels that arnt a whole lot bigget than pool wheels

  • dude im from england also i need to know what deck that is!!!!!

    thanks

  • thanks for the comment man

its a Barfoot custom Board (there is a website. chuck in 'barfoot' on google and it should come up).

shipped from the U.S its hand built and very strong yet flexy.

    thanks again

  • wow u shipped it over :O that must of cost a bit. how much all together with i shipping fee and stuff???. cheers :)

  • it cost $100. with the exchange rate at the moment i guess thats around £60-£70 to get the board over here, then about £80 for the board its self and then about £50 for everything else at 'appolo11'(website) which is good because it all goes to charity and you can pick stuff up for trade price so it can be alot cheaper. all together it cost me just under £200 i think

  • lol yes a really big one

longboard: more speed (40mph), danzing, sliding, some tricks (less than skateboarding), downhill

skateboarding: tricks, pipes, grinds, much less speed

  • thanks for summing that up for me

  • arent independents crappy on a lb? i uno, it seem like less carvage. iono

  • yeah i get quite abit of wheel bite because of the short hanger

  • Ind makes longboard trucks

  • yeah. they are 10" wide

  • olavrasmuss1, i left a comment on your main page

  • wwaaow awesome board man awesome!!!:Q

  • thanks man for the comment!

its all nice apart froma little wheel bite, but once thats all sorted its gunna ride awesome too

  • whoa!
