I love this because Australia brought the fast, agressive bowling attack into life with Lille and Thomson in 74-75 (which was little more than Bodyline in modern clothing), so it's really ironic to see them undone by their own creation.
@babcock3613 Why don't you go and play your sports then instead of posting pathetic comments. If you don't like cricket then just don't watch videos about it.
Yes indeed. Never before, and very unlikely to be seen again, will there be a pace attack as the West Indies in the 70's and 80's. Apart from this great quartet, there was Marshall, Ambrose, Walsh, Bishop, Patterson etc. Add to that bowlers of the ferocity of Wayne Daniel and Sylvester Clarke, who could hardly get a game - but would've walked into any other Test side!

original fearsome foursome ? - wtf absolute rubbish. did they play for the LA Rams in the 60's. no then get the fuck out of here with this "original" crap.
I was a kid back then in Pakistan. I don't remember the foursome in action, but I distinctly remember their names. This was the golden era of cricket. No four individuals will ever dominate the game and strike fear in the hearts of batsmen and spectators alike as these four did.
@KyokushinStudent do you have any of the footage of when they went to pakistan in 1980 - i would love to watch Imran , Clark, young Marshall and Viv at his best.
@KyokushinStudent yeah and there was a jokes about all that...like batsmen in the pavilion saying "here hold my cigarette I will be back soon" when going out to face them.
my goodness, you can really tell the difference between batting then and batting now fully armoured. these bowlers were making these great batsmen look ordinary. these days the batsmen would have put on a helmet and taken the bowling on. i miss those days.
@vladtepes97 i respect your opinion but i can't see what you are saying. There was but one real bouncer shown in that clip . just one. the rest was quality fast (and in holdings case REAL fast) bowling on display .....(the one from Joel Garner was just short of a length that took off)
the don!!!!Wowww :)

@eeshankulkarni I would say no because I would not be caught dead playing this stupid sport. Try Hockey or American Football real sports.
