I did see this one before Mike and I was so happy to see your very light Phantom fingers tinkering accross the keyboard. I love this tune the second time round . Wonderful playing indeed. Great smile.
Oh Mike, its wonderful stuff.DON'T DO YOURSELF DOWN,DON'T POINT OUT YOUR MISTAKES-leave it to others if they dare. Nice feet tapping happy music. regards from Derek.
@ilovetrains63 - Thanks Dwayne. I think that was a smile of relief!
Hope all is ok with you, we have just had 2 days of very strong gale force winds and rain. The Lough (Lake Allua) has risen over 9 feet and all the roads flooded again!
Great music with superb character! I bet George Clooney can not do this, haha! :D
Well, I couldn't help spotting the mistakes, but I also recognise, how smoothly you recover from them - and at the end of the music, this is what counts. With your musical character and conquering smile, who'll remember the typos? :)
Having Italian friends of my own, here's a hint - we nordic people could learn from them some things. How to take things easy, f.ex. They don't mind their mistakes, this is for sure! :D
@sabaline - Thank you for this lovely comment. You are very kind to say how I recover from these mistakes, thank goodness I can do or else I would never finish a piece! I know I always puit pressure on myself when I play for camera, perhaps I shall have to try the Italian way, after all, no one is going to shoot me if I make mistakes, so I should try and relax more>
The song is wonderful. I have not heard it. You are precious just as you are. quit worrying about your shape. I can't imagine you being any better! I have spent my life worrying about my shape. If I am thin, I am still big in the middle. They say I got in from my granddaddy I never met. I guess some things are meant to be. lol... and I never noticed the mistakes.
@Ivoryticklermama - Dear Joan, thank you for your lovely words. I guess if I had a perfect body I would be mobbed by women, and then I would have no time for the accordion - so, yes, better off as I am!! :)
Really beautiful, Mike, with a grand sense of liveliness, spirit and splendid musicality! You've become a great exponent of the Roland and it shows very well in your tasteful and skillful performances. You especially excel at registrations and overall sense of mood, atmosphere and effects. Plus you have one of the most expressive faces on all of You Tube! Now, that's style!
@FromHolbergsTime - Dear Glenn, thank you for your very kind words. You certainly make me feel that I have accomplished my goal with your observations regarding choosing registrations. As for my face - I am not sure whether tis a good or bad thing, for I could never tell a lie or anything like that - my expression always gave me away when I was young!!
You've still got it Mike! What a treat to finish my day (sorry I'm a bit late to the party -- I've spent the day in Stuttgart, dreadful internet connectivity!)
@BENNYMANS99 - Thanks a million Brian. I am not really one for playing fast music (although I suppose I should push myself more, as it would help with "digital dexterity!) The next piece will be AS SLOW AS POSSIBLE!!
Your play was worth for a second visit. I also have the scores and you inspired me to learn it. Now I've realized, that this 6/8 rhytm is a Tarantella.

Marvelous performance, Mike! So fluid and smooth! It's truly a delight to watch you play! We are all grateful for the many takes and for this resulting gem of a video! Love to see you grinning at the end! Wonderful!
Thank you for listening. The music is very typical of the fun of Italy. I don't mind playing a faster one now and then, but I prefer the ones where i can put some real feeling into the music.
Bravo Mike. Even with your hint I was not able to pick out a mistake. Perhaps if there was one, and I'll have to take your word on that, it was harmonically correct, which in my mind make it an embellishment.
