Bizarre. I just read the post of 'orderinchaos'. I had the same experience when my dad died this year. Playing only Oceansize and Nick Drake (strange combo, I know), I could not stand anything else. This song was as said, comforting but without getting comfortably numb :) Playing number 10 on the disc over and over again...

I still can't get over the timing of the second part of the song - 34/8 ?! For varying reasons this song is comforting to me - it came into my head while dealing with the death of a close friend's mother, and I ended up listening to it on almost constant repeat for about two days. It's not the lyrics (I don't even know what they are) but just the overall sound.
