  • Watching this video brings back so many great memories.

  • This must have been when they opened Stitch's Great Escape. The little sticker on the windshield. It may not be the driver of the monorail recording this though; I know if some people are really lucky and ask for it, you can sit in the cabin with the driver. I got to do that when I was ten, and it was so great! I loved that experience!

  • @CrystalChord2010 same it was awsome

  • Your camera is focused on the windshield, not what's outside. You need to either set your camera to manual focus or hold the camera farther back from the windshield.

  • oh lol i saw it on yahoo thats how i found out

  • lol my whole point of coming to disney is because of the monorail and the food the rest can go to hell

  • Look at that beautiful sky!

  • When does the monorail start in the morning?

  • The monorail runs from 7:00a - 1a the following morning.

  • no he was'nt driving i was in the front once and it was pretty cool they had a couple of seats in there that they let u ride in

  • I once road in the front back in 1991(it was the last time I was there) and the driver ripped ass real loud and tried to blame my older brother. My dad and I were laughing so hard!!!

  • lol i remember my first time driving one of these.

i thyought hey just like a car or sumthing right.

    man i was so wrong.

now i do it all the time xD

  • WERE YOU DRIVING THE MONORAIL?

  • probably not, you can sit up front if you have a party of 4. i rode up there once w/ my family. it's awesome, but kinda scary cause you feel like you can fly thru the window! lol. but wdw is gr8 :)

  • Idk what's wrong, but I hope you feel better! Have a blessed day.

  • So are you going to apollogize to schooled6?

  • @MONSTER2GARAGE I have nothing to apoligize for. My opinion does not require an apology.

  • woohoo! i might be operating one of those in the Fall!

  • really?

lemme know if u do, cuz i work at WDW now. i love to meet youtubers i know who go there :D

  • Riding on a Monorail is fun and it's FREE for Walt Disney World Resort guests.

  • once you get into parking or one of the 3 resorts that have monorail stops, the monorail is free for anybody, coz it's just outside of the ticketing at the parks. Those 3 would be the Polynesian, The Contemporary, and The Grand Floridian. The other resorts don't have monorail access either.

  • I hear they might be putting in monerail tracks for MGM and Animal Kingdom but will be really expensive and take 5 to 10 years is this is true.

  • Yup. They used a Stitch sticker to advertise, "Stitch's Great Escape" when it was opened in 2006.

  • I sure wish EVERY Disney hotel resort had a monorail station, but imagine how long it would take to get where you're going!!!

  • i agree that would be alot easier then taking a bus and quicker

  • They could just build a new line tho!! It really is a good idea.

  • as in...one that leads to the other parks & resorts or what? that would be cool...

  • yeah... in fact I think every major city in the USA should consider using monorails.

  • Plus people have to pay the Disney parks Tickets and/or stay at one of the hotel they get to ride the monorail so it very clean and safe to ride on it with no other type of people riding alone with you. By the way, unlike Disneyland in CA, this one people can stand in it if they like Plus people in wheelchair can easily move their wheelchair round inside.

  • In San Diego the trolley that goes to certain destination pretty much does the same thing but it is not a monorail up high with docking port everywhere, it more like a train then anything. The monorails are much more stylish and you can look down on things. Also it takes you to the Magic Kingdom or EPCOT or your hotel that are on the monorail's line.

  • I have noticed that while the train is moving, there seems to be a buzzer that comes on periodically. I wonder what that is.

  • That "beep" you hear is, I believe, the speed limit changing for the train.

  • No it is to keep the operator awake. I kid you not.

  • That's correct.

I see and hear it on the Kuala Lumpur monorail in Malaysia too.

Exactly the same beep. Then the speedometer flashes off the speed range to tell the driver to slow down.

  • It is the speed restriction / speed increment alarm.

  • I remember last time I went, they changed the monorail narator. I like the new narator better.

  • ttc stands for ticket and transportation cntre.

  • what does ttc stand for?

  • TTC stands for the Transportation and Ticket Center.

  • In the 90's, track costs alone estimated at a cool million per mile.

  • I love the diseny Monorail, I have a mini one that goes around my room

  • i love riding it to

  • i could live there

  • I loved riding the monorail in Disney! It was soooooooooooooo awesome! I remember the sound of the announcer, the airconditioner, and even the sights! God, I want to really go back now! Thanx for posting this up!

  • Every city should have those! It's the raddest thing ever!

  • Great Video of the walt Disney World Monorail. Im looking forward to comming down to Disney World next summer to visit and ride the Monorail
