Lisinopril is miraculous to me. I take a half dose 10mg and my BP went from 140/90 to 110/70. I'm thrilled with it. The only downfall is not being able to take Ibuprophen, with is the #1 pain reliever. And, uh...this young lady has a real Slavic beauty to her. Owwooo!
The suffering of Lisinopril are worse than the suffering of High Blood...This is so sad that the FDA would put something like this on the market maybe we need to rethink why we have the FDA in the first place....
It's funny how they pass the side effects of Lisinopril as just a cough, and it's crazy when they say it's a few side effects. The truth is, Lisinopril is a very, very bad drug and should not be given to anyone. The side effects are much more than a few and it's more than a dry cough this stuff can kill you. I would not give Lisinopril to anyone that I care about, they should use this stuff as a (WOMD) in time of war. If you take it kiss your liver goodby and tell your kidneys the same.
It should be against the law to let Lisinopril be on the market, I care for my sister and Lisinopril just about killed her. How do they sleep at night with junk like this on the market. I would tell anyone taking this to please be careful and let your doctor know how you feel and never be fearful to speak up to your doctor and let them know that what you are taking is making you feel sick, even if you are not sure it's the Lisinopril, please notice any change in your body or health.
Ladies beware of this drug !! I started taking this &my hair started thinningn out. Thinning hair runs in some familys, but NOT mine! My hair started to get thin, then thinnner, then I looked back at when it started thinning & went to my Dr. & we did a time line when I started it. And guess what..it started thinning when I started this drug!! I went on the NET & there are many things to read about this drug & thinning hair. They say stop this drug & your hair will come back. I'm got off it ASAP!
@ohpineapples PART 2 also had a cough, when getting up I felt dizzy and was always clearing my throat. It also made me sleepy for no reason. Sure my BP dropped, but there are better things out there for you.
I've had wonderful results with Lisinopril. My BP went from an average of 150/90 to 118/75, and I'm thrilled with the numbers. I started on 20mg one a day, and did have slight morning headaches, like a sinus headache. My doctor let me try halving them and my BP stayed in the area the 20 mg produced. No more headaches and no side effects otherwise. I think this stuff is miraculous.
Bull! I have been extremely sick because if lisinopril for a month! I have pulmonary distress because of it! Its bad stuff! Think twice before taking this drug!
god I switched to this from a beta blocker thinking it would be better, but no lol it isn't, thankfully it isn't seriously but it makes me lethargic its like the medication is draining energy out of me, I struggle like hell to get a hard on and I'm 23, extremely high sex drive before taking this, also you'll cough fell like your choking occasionally, and your body feels flacid/heavy/feeble, that and I get headaches... I think I am going to talk to my doctor about switching back to beta blockers
@HaveLucidDreamz I've been taking Lisinopril for a week and it has me helluv horny and makes my penis harder and has veins popping out all over my body. DON'T TAKE A BETA BLOCKER! THAT will shut your dick down. Maybe the problems you are having are from other drugs you may be taking. Docs love to stack Lisinopril with diuretics. I'm supposed to take 10 mg. Lisinopril with 12.5 mg HCTZ, but I took HCTZ alone for a month and my bp went up. I stopped the HCTZ. Try an ARB drug.
lol thanks for the advice but its not the veins popping out thing, I get that too with the medication... it actually scares me cause it looks all unnatural having these massive blue veins I can see under my arms. Anyways its the feeling of lethargy/lightheadness I get from the drug. I had a heart surgery and I take this and aspirin, my bp was normal but they want to keep the pressure down across my valves to help my hearts health long term. On this med my bp drops to 105/55 when I am at rest.
It's probably the low blood pressure that has you feeling the way you do. I'm on 10 mg. and I think I need more. Without meds, I'm at about 150-160+/75-80, so far, it's dropped me to about 135-155. I have a upper arm and wrist bp monitor, both Omron, and I check my bp several times a day. You should do the same, that way you get a better idea of your bp. Try different meds, you're not married to any one drug. One man's medicine is another man's poison.
I don't know I don't have that much problems with it now, I think my body needed to adapt to its effect, my blood pressure is back to normal... when its 120/60 I feel great, nice and relaxed.... when its 130-140/70-80 I feel tense but energetic.... if it goes beyond that I feel awful.... if it goes to around 100/50 I feel lightheaded and dazed and generally sleepy.
I also have a cuff and I check it at different times and activities to get a feel for whats going on inside me.
Yeah, I hear you. I've had blood pressure problems since high school. I'd start meds and stop, ignoring it most of my life. At 43, I realize I don't want to stroke out, and if these pills can help me live another 20 years, I'd be a fool not to take them. Since I've started to take my bp seriously and got back on meds, I've noticed that when my systollic pressure is above 160, I can feel it- tightness in the chest, tension, short-tempered, and a general uncomfortable feeling.
and loss of med insurance, I'm on lisinopril. Wow! I can't understand how anyone could be against Presidents revamp of medical plans. OH! Guess it doesn't matter to the rich like Bush an them...
Before starting this medication, I felt fine other than hround igh blood pressure... around 139/40 and little higher sometimes. Now I experience dizziness, headaches, neck aches and joint and body aches, especially my left arm. I thought I was having a heart attack for a while. Pain is now moving to my right shoulder. I was taking 20mg for about 6 weeks, but I stopped today!! Hopefully I'll begin to feel better in about a week. I was on diovan before which worked fine, but due to layoffs
@4chango Greetings! I did try an herbal product for a time period, but had no success. I was next put on amlodopine. That worked great, but then the side-effects kicked in and I experienced headaches and dizziness. I was able to get back on diovan. What herbal product do you recommend? Peace...
@ffdee:Two things first when using herbal product sonly use quality "organic & pure" with no added trash, otherwise you can use them all you want and they still will not work. Second I placed a complete naturopathic approach on my channel in the comment section. It will remain posted for a few days.
Great video. I was put on this drug a few months ago (only 10 mgs a day) and have had a terrible cough - thought I had something far worse. Glad to know as I made a Dr's appt re the cough, now I know what the problem probably is. THANKS.
@Grunt11b10 More info please? I have been on this drug about 6 weeks and have many bad things going on now. I would appriciate knowing what is likely being caused by this med, and what to do instead. My BP was 220/198 so I was easily scared into taking med. This increese occered overnight my norm was120/70
