Gah i keep finding orchestra's and band's playing but i haven't found a full orchestra play it yet -.-. It was great playing with a full orchestra but i still love this song.
I played this song with a grade 2 - 8 orchestra once as Violin 2. They've split the orchestra up and I'm now playing it as Oboe 1 in a Grade 2-4 Orchestra. Doesn't match the gold old sound our orchestra used to perform. :(
I remember playing the 2nd Violin part in Fenland Music Center Intermediate & Senior Orchestra Combined. Loved every moment of it. Now I play Oboe in the orchestra. I wonder what their part is like
have only had this song for three days and we dont sound all that bad well the woodwinds sound good our brass is a bit iffy but it is going good well i love the flute part
My middle school Orchestra just played this..... It was really good too :]

i played this about a year ago as first clarinet too, was a lot of fun, and such good music!
:)

I performed this in orchestra today - was principal clarinet and is great music to play, because it sounds good but is easy.
The solos sound MUCH better played by a clarinet/woodwind section than trumpet/brass sections as I've heard on other recordings

That's because there are different versions for orchestras and concert bands. I've only played the one for concert bands, and it is a brass solo.

not nice for violins either its fun to play though (:

Ugggghhhh, the 6/8 is difficult on flute. I would know.. I have to play it. x_x
It's definitely worth the challenge it is, though. This piece should be a class A, not B, as it is.

omgwhat ! the flute 6/8 part was the best part to play! soo much fun
had that memorized and would turn it into solos with friends then got yelled at because we were messin around -_-

yeah, the Dives and Lazarus portion sounded nice. The basses really dug in their heels and played like they meant it.
