  • beautifully played

  • nawww i sang this at our primary graduation in 2006 <3 it's amazingg.

  • Thank you for this. I am so sorry for your loss and I wanted to compliment your moving tribute. This song touches me a similar way. Words escape me when I try to describe the emotions that this song draws up within me, I won't even try but there are many who will understand exacty what I am feeling when they hear this inspirational song.

  • Geez, great job mate. Like most people commenting, I too did sing this with a choir back in 2006, Grade 6 for me. It is such a good piece... Really good job ;)

  • Ohhhh. I did this song in choir, years ago. I was ten, if that. I thought the story was sad, and I loved the song and would sing it around the house all day. But, like you, for me it has a deeper meaning. Every time I hear this, I think of my grandmother, my Oma. She died of a brain tumour, many many years ago. I like the piano part. You play it very nicely. I'm sure you have done Michelle proud. Thanks for this video, it's great :)

  • I love this song so much! Thanks so much for doing this recording, it's so beautiful. I haven't heard this song since my choir did it a year ago.

  • can you please do a tutorial for this!..

i've been dying to play this on the piano since a choir from my school sang this!

  • This is a beautiful song. I hold it very dear to my heart. I got to sing it a few years ago with my choir and I loved it. You play it really well. I wish that one day I can play it too.

  • hey.

wow you play this song lovely

I was part of the original choir. in the recording of young australians. its good to hear other people hearing and apreciating pauls music.

  • thnx a lot! wow it must have been amazing to have been in that choir!

  • we sang this song for our choir at school in a workshop when Paul Jarman came to our school for a day - it was mad! :O beautiful song and I'm sure Michelle will be pleased to know that you did such a wonderful job.

  • I remember when Paul Jarman came and worked with our choir. We sang this song, Pemulwuy, and a few others. It was amazing and an experience that I'll cherish forever. Brillient playing, Michelle would be very proud of you I'm sure. If you have Pemulwuy could you please put that up, it is by far my favourate of all Paul Jarman's compositions. Thank you for putting this up.

  • this song is so beautiful. My choir at school is singing it because Paul Jarman is coming in a week or two. I couldnt remember the lyrics or the tune because we sang another paul jarman song straight after it at rehearsal and i just read the story of natasha, the girl it was written in memory of, and it made me cry. Thankyou for putting this up, it is truly beautiful and you are a really good pianist.

  • oh wow I wish you and your choir the best of luck on putting on a good performance! Yes the story is really sad, this song is also for me very emotional because of someone i've lost. I think yours is the nicest comment I've ever gotten. Thank you so very much for taking the time to listen to my video and really the best of luck for the performance.
