  • I am not Chinese, but I live here, and i do not see the police state as I did in the USA,,,,,,NWO. is controlling the media and your lives ,,,,,,,wake up America

  • the truth is hard to swallow.....so take a big bite.

  • The Dalai Lama is a CIA puppet !

  • well researched, well presented, well done =)

  • @obsidianstatue Just a trick for US to keep being an super-boss in the world as every other countries have been devided and hate each other. Then US not only sell weapons but also behave like an angel to come to save the people in the world in the name of God. US is just a fake chritian country.

  • FREE TIBET

    SAVE TIBET

  • Then start a revolution , after that shut up when tibetan are being surpressed .

  • revolution and invasion/occupation are not the same thing

  • mao said the only foreign debt china had was to tibet. funny way he chose to honour that debt, invading and eventually murdering over 20% of the population.

get back when you've woken from the bogus "us vs. them" paradigm so indispensable to fascist leaders...

  • @mispistoleros mao also said revolution comes from the barrels of a gun. do you remember that part? which country in this world did not gained its territories through warfare? can you name one? I can not because I know all of them started with warfare.

  • yes, you are fundamentally wrong. go to my channel page and read the story in the profile. speaking of dumping, the CPC BLING DYNASTY is terrified of the meritocracy-minded fen qing.

  • @mispistoleros did any conquers in the history ever gave a shit on fundamentals. did the europeans ever gave a shit about fundamentals? did the english gave a shit about fundamentals? like it or not, you have to take what you want with a gun, even mao started as an idealist just like you, but he eventually picked up a gun. after 60 yrs of exile, you people are still outside and the chinese is getting stronger. who is right and who is wrong is determine by who has the gun. fundamental my ass

  • just a few years more...good riddance.

  • one more thing...what about the tibetans, what they want? or the uighurs and mongols? what about the chinese? laogai? organ trafficking? ccp china sucks big time and the regime will fall a lot sooner than anyone expects. neo-yellow turbans are walking the streets, ready to guide the chinese people in the final chapter of the people's revolution, started in 1911 but hijacked by mao and perpetuated by a corrupt, criminal, nepotistic elite.

  • china is being encircled. there is not a single asian regime which trusts beijing.

  • so it's alright if moscow invades china and wins? china is now a part of russia?

BULLOCKS. that's why we have international rule of law and why beijng, along with tel aviv and washington, will remain a pariah of the international community.

  • @mispistoleros if moscow wins and maintains control, then china is part of russia. a kot of european countries lost their colonies simply due to losing their military control of their colonies after ww2. it is simple warfare and the winners get to write to the history. people are welcome to go back to the 5th century if they wish, but everything is settle with warfare.

  • @eastern2western, wrong

  • @mispistoleros if I am wrong, then why is the exile government still in india after 60 yrs. what country in the world does not have a strong military. isareal established its country with pure military conflict. you people are just too freaking idealistic. even chairman mao said revolution comes from the barrel of a gun. usa only wants to use you stupid students whenever they want to harass the commies. they dump yourasses if they do not need you kids

  • through history, the borders of territories are determined by military powers. the fact is tibet has been under control under the military power of china. if the exiled government wants it back, they are welcome to talk to the ak 47s of the chinese army.

  • You guys know nothing about tibet! And the so-called Dalai Lama is controlled by the foreign conntries to separate the China! We chinese will not allow it happen!!

About the video, a lot of the pictures in no relationship with the tibet!

I am chinese, i know tibet!

  • What a bullcrap video. China already has so much land, why can't they just like Tibet free?

  • Comment removed

  • many of the "professionals" you mention were welcomed to tibet to do their investigations while delegates of the UN human rights commission were barred.

the 1951 national geographic "year in review" ran an "obituary" for the nation of tibet which had fallen to chinese expansion and wounded chinese pride.

the govt of china has no right to the manchu empire.

this video is a croc of bullocks

  • @mispistoleros are you fucken retarted, the current north east region of china is the origin of the old manchu empire. if china has control of north east region, does that basically qualify tibet as part of its country

  • eastern, "Mao sought to restore Chinese glory and negate the previous “century of humiliations,” a political category invented to hide the fact that the Manchu empire was one of the most territorially aggrandizing gunpowder empires in human history. Its armies more than doubled the territory that had been previously controlled by the Sincized Ming empire that the non-Han Manchus had replaced in the 17 th century.

  • Modern Chinese Han nationalism silently lays claim to the conquered territories of that recent expansionist Manchu empire. It is an imperial nationalism presented in a discourse of anti-imperialism."

-Testimony of Professor Edward Friedman to the

United States China Commission, Washington D.C., April 14, 2005

    Chinese Nationalism and American Policy

  • actually the US took california n some other midwest land from mexico after a bloody invasion.

until today some mexicans consider those land rightfully theirs

  • let this asshole die! hahahaha

  • great video....very informative.

it'll definitely get more views no doubt about it.

  • I haven't seen such a classical example of communist propaganda crap for a long time. Everything that does not fit the communism government is "CIA", "imperialism", "Cold War", etc. I remember similar propaganda. First of all the Dalai Lama is not insisting on full independence, the fact whether it was autonomy or independence in the past is irrelevant. Second - why the Chinese send there army there? If there was only a small "olygarchy" the army would not be necessary.

  • Boycott Chinese products!Help Tibet to be free from the chinese brutality!

  • Beijing, Mao & the CCP have received billions of US government dollars since 1959. CIA is just yet another agency; it matters little which agency is handing out the money. CIA doesn't "fund" anything, Washington does.

And you guessed it - the US government considered HHDL worth helping, just like Desmond Tutu, Mother Theresa and other heroes of compassion.

Beijing should give back its billions, then we can argue how many pairs of slippers CIA bought for HHDL.

  • common, your logic is a bit obtuse. care to clarify what you mean? the UN was refused entry into california?

it would appear the wumaodang has launched a mop-up exercise...going over old video blogs and reopening debate. perhaps it's part of beijing's "stimulus package" for overseas children of party officials?

btw, economists are starting to sound the alarm about a possible implosion of over-heated chinese stock and real estate markets. the guy who prophesied enron gave china a thumbs down.

  • it won't be necessary to wage war against china for timbet te recoup its sovereignty.

CPC CHINA, INC will collapse from within.

it's not necessary to assume all mentioned "scholars" have conspired to thwart DL; all you need to dod is consider why these "scholars" were given access to tibet when beijing refused to allow the UN to enter.

as for national geographic is concerned, its 1950 "year in review" ran an obituary for the nation of tibet, a victim of chinese aggression.

    BOYCOTT MADE IN CHINA

  • o yea.....the people are pretty tired of the oppresive gov over there...the chinese democratic revolution is just around the corner

  • @mispistoleros

So UN is denied access to California too, can I assume there is a conspiracy to prevent CA independence?

  • @Commonlogicguy

show me the people in californa who want independence first before you write such bullshit

  • @TheMightyGuri

lol, shows how much you know. Why don't you do a google search on "California Independence" and see what you come up with? Still think its BS?

  • @Commonlogicguy

Independence (formerly, Putnam's,[2] Little Pine,[2] and Putnams[1]) is a census-designated place and the county seat of Inyo County, California.

    you mean this???

    LOL

  • @TheMightyGuri

are you really stupid or just pretending? Here is the link:

    calrepublic. tripod. com

    actually I think u r just a shameless liar.

  • @Commonlogicguy

wow so the people of california want independence? why? because the united states invaded california and destroyed their culture?? have they burned down their churches?

im not a shameless liar, it just doesnt make any sense to me for you to bring up this bullshit :) do you support an independent california or what??? NO! you just use it as your excuse

    so therefore, stfu bender

  • @TheMightyGuri

again, are you just playing stupid or just are stupid?

Yes, the US did come to CA and burned everything, in fact they did it to the native people of entire continental US way back. Learn some history please. Don't try to be smug and try to cover up your own ignorance/deceit, you are wrong and that is it.

  • @Commonlogicguy

so you saying that this was bad and support what china is doing in tibet at the same time?? :) cool

  • @TheMightyGuri

typical, people telling your logic is false and u automatically try to label other as "commie" or "whatever". Guess no one can even question u r logic is that it?

But ok, I will play your game. So tell me, what exactly is China doing in Tibet? Let see what you got.

  • why don't u go and fuck your mother u ignorance Americans ?

  • @shyamranger

im not american, you weak 2nd class treatet human being

  • @TheMightyGuri

So exactly what am I excusing? I am simply calling the fallacy of your logic that People in the free world cant' possibly want independence. Well just to show u, there are and the free world is not giving at least without a fight.

  • Tibet and Xinjiang belong to China!

  • it was said by Hitler, not Mao

  • not really, it is by Geobbels, minister of Propaganda

  • this vid should get more views

  • The real truth most Tibetan cannot accept:

The Chinese will never let Tibet to go independence, even with American support.

The only way to get independent to wage war against China. Do you think you can handle that?

  • 70% of tibetans are fed by the chinese. in every 1 yuan income tax that each chinese paid, 6% goes to tibet...

  • if you have guts, try piss China off and start the war...

if you dnt intend to get involved in a war to get independence for Tibet, what you are doing now is null

  • here is the truth. finally somebody is telling truth.

  • Fuck Japan and your lies

  • @xXLoneWolfXv fuck ur mother for beign such a fat hore......

  • @xXLoneWolfXv fk ur mom for biegn such a hore

  • Do you know Japan is part of China too?

  • The so called spontaneous uprisings in Lasha in 1986 and 1988-89 were not spontaneous at all. Take a look at who was in China's Tibet from the US at that time, including trained spys, some of whom were apprehended by China.

I was in China during 88-89, and know for a fact that the so called democracy demonstrations started with violent riots in Lasha, and spilled down into Xian, before Hu YaoBing died. This violence is partially financed by covert US gov actions. Einstein Inst also involved.

  • good information. thank you.

Seek truth, it will set us free.

  • Holiness? I won't even call Dalai Lama a "monk" or "Buddhist". There are three branches of Buddhism but the core teachings are the same. It's about the eradication of any cravings, greed, hatred and delusion, the cessation of pain from birth to death. No Buddhists would incorporate themselves with political powers. Dalai and his relatives were aristocrats in Old Xizang. What people are with him now? US politicians and Hollywood stars. Did he teach Bush the four noble truths before Iraq war?

  • can u take the truth?

    what a good title!!!!

haha xizang (or tibet,i don't like this expresson,i like "xizang")is a part of china !!haha

    that's denitely true! o yeah

  • CNN = Crap Not News

  • Fuck you, shit-brained asshole!

  • 10. 28th October 1991, US Congress under a Foreign Authorisation Act passed the resolution wherein they recognised "Tibet, including those areas incorporated into the Chinese provinces of Sichuan, Yunnan, Gansu and Qinghai, AN OCCUPIED COUNTRY under the established principal of international law". The resolution further stated that Tibet's true representative are the Dalai Lama and the Tibetan Government in exile as recognised by the Tibetan people.

  • of all the countries in the World, the USA has the least right to have any say about 'occupation of another country'. It is a country born from the genocide of its native ppl, and feed on the blood of Black slavery! That was its past and I don't need to tell you whats this bastard nation is currently doing to Iraq!!!

  • How can China - one of the most ardent opponent of imperialism and colonialism - excuse its continued presence in Tibet, against the wishes of Tibetan people, by citing as justification Mongols and Manchu imperialism and its own colonial policies?

  • The Tibetan ppl does not want to return to Thoecratic rule, does not wish to be 'bonded labour' to Monastries!

  • Its claims are based solely on the alleged subjection of Tibet to a few of China's strongest foreign rulers in the thirteenth and eighteenth centuries

  • As pointed out earlier, the Chinese government has not claimed to have acquired sovereignty over Tibet by conquest. Indeed, China recognises that the use or threat of force (outside the exceptional circumstances provided for in the UN charter), the imposition of an unequal treaty or the continued illegal occupation of a country can never grant an invader legal title to territory. .

  • China acquired sovereignty over Tibet over 600 years ago! UN did not exist then!

  • 7. If Tibet was part of China, then there was no need for the 17 point agreement which was forced upon the Tibetan delegation to sign in China in 1951 and then China announced to the world that Tibet was liberated (from whom?).

  • "Tibet was liberated" from Thoecratic rule of the Dalai Lama!!! AND the influence of the British in that region.

  • 5. Tibet conducted its international relations primarily by dealing with British, Chinese, Nepalese and Bhutanese diplomatic missions in Lhasa, but also through government delegations traveling abroad. When India became independent, the British Mission in Lhasa was replaced by an Indian one.

    6. When Nepal applied for membership of the United Nations in 1949, it cited its treaty and diplomatic relations with Tibet to demonstrate its full international personality.

  • during the 1950 Nepal, India and even Bhutan were puppets of the British. The 'Tibetan issue' was an attempt by the British to carve up China bit by bit. The so call Tibetan govenment were put there by the British!

  • 4. During the Second World War Tibet remained neutral, despite strong pressure from the USA, Britain and China to allow the passage of raw materials through Tibet.

  • No to THEOCRACY. You want "separation of states and church" yet you support Dalai Lama, someone who considered to be "the reincarnation of ..." to govern Tibet? lol.. hypocrite.

  • "During the Second World War Tibet remained neutral, despite strong pressure from the USA, Britain and China to allow the passage of raw materials through Tibet"

This is becuase the Dalia Lama has a good relationship/top adviser, with a German SS Brown Shirt officer called Heinrich Harrer!!

Tibet stay 'neutral' becuase DL does not dare to openly support the Nazi!!!!!

You are pathetic, trying to paint peaceful Tibet!! Tibetan are far from peaceful!

  • 1. Tibet governed itself without foreign influence, conducted its own Foreign affairs, had its own army and operated its own postal system. Tibet sovereignty was recognised by its neighbours as well as by Britain, with whom Tibet entered into a series of treaties regarding travels and trade.

    2. 1904 Britain invaded Tibet and subsequently Convention agreed between Tibet and Britain.

    3. 1912 The last of the Chinese troops expelled from Tibet and Dalai Lama proclaims Tibet Independence.

  • In 1842 and 1856 the Manchus were incapable of responding to Tibetan calls for assistance against repeated Nepalese Gorkha invasion. The Tibetans drove back the Gorkhas with no assistance and concluded bilateral treaties.

In 1911 the CHO-YON relationship came to its final end with the fall of the Manchu Dynasty. Tibet formally declared its Independence in 1912 and continued to conduct itself as a fully sovereign nation until its invasion by Communist China an 1949

  • In 1639, the Dalai Lama established another CHO-YON relationship, this time with the Manchu Emperor, who in 1644 conquested China and established the Qing Dynasty.

By the middle of the 19th century, the Munchu influence in Tibet had waned considerably as the Manchu empire began to disintegrate.

  • The Mongol-Tibetan relationship was thus based on mutual respect and dual responsibility. In stark contrast, the Mongol-Chinese relationship was based on military conquest and domination. The Mongols ruled China, while the Tibetans ruled Tibet. The Mongol empire ended in the mid-14th century.

  • While China was militarily conquered by the Mongols, the Tibetans and the Mongols established the historically unique "priest patron" relationship, also known as CHO-YON. The Mongol aristocracy had converted to Buddhism and sought spiritual guidance and moral legitimacy for the rule of their vast empire from the Tibetan theocracy. As Tibet's patrons they pledged to protect it against foreign invasion. In return Tibetans promised loyalty to the Mongol empire.

  • Second, the respective relationships between the Mongols and the Tibetans and between the Mongols and Chinese must be examined. These two relationships were not only radically different in nature, but they also started and ended at different times. Tibet came under Mongol influence before Kublai Khan's conquest of China and regaining complete independence from the Mongols several decades before China regained its independence.

  • During the 13th and 14th centuries both China and Tibet came under the influence of the Mongol empire. China claims today that Tibet and China during that time became one country, by virtue of the Mongols domination of both nations. In validating this claim, it must first be remembered that virtually all of Asia was dominated by the Mongols under Kublai Khan and his successors, who ruled the largest empire in human history.

  • The treaty reads in part: Both Tibet and China shall keep the country and frontiers of which they are now possessed. The whole region to the East of that being the country of Great China and the whole region to the West being assuredly the country of Great Tibet, from either side there shall be no hostile invasion, and no seizure of territory...

  • TIBET: AN OCCUPIED COUNTRY

    A Long History of Sovereignty

While China claims that Tibet has always been a part of China, Tibet has a history of at least 1300 years of independence from China. In 821 China and Tibet ended almost 200 years of fighting with a treaty engraved on three stone pillars, one of which still stands in front of the Jokhang cathedral in Lhasa.

  • You don't make sense.

  • and in order that this agreement establishing a great era when Tibetans shall be happy in Tibet and Chinese shall be happy in China shall never be changed, the Three Jewels, the body of Saints, the sun and the moon, planets and stars have been invoked as witness.

The three stone pillars were erected, one outside the Chinese Emperor's palace, one on the border between the two countries, and one in Lhasa

  • 9. Today from the legal standpoint, Tibet to this day has not lost its statehood. It is an independent state under illegal occupation. Neither China's military invasion nor the continuing occupation by PLA has transferred the sovereignty of Tibet to China.

  • You make me laugh! "from the legal standpoint" Tibet did not gain statehood at all during the 1950! Apart from the British and her puppets no other country recognise the Gog-King as legitimate

  • who's the groomfield guy taht was mentioned in this clip?

  • did u say that Tibet is part of China?

  • omg, that's what the evidence actually points! how dare he speaks historical acurracy!!

  • free iraq!!!! before you talk about tibet, clean up your evil act in iraq!!!

  • Tibet was,is and will always be a part of China no matter what those separstists and their western masters dream of!

  • China doesn't let people say what they want to say. That is oppressive. They don't allow forums like this one in China. That someone would use a forum of free speech to fight against it is beyond me. And no that doesn't justify the CIA and their role, because they do the same thing.

  • CIA again hahaha this is why a lot of nation wants to kill america because it cant keep its ass off of other countries affairs, pretending to help yet theres a hidden agenda behind it.

  • Dogs are better companions than bug eaters, dogs are smarter than most people, stop eating dogs you dumb fuckers, stupid violent over populated short ugly fuckers.

  • they are all a bunch of dog eaters, evil horrible, cat eaters, bug eaters, hell they even eat babies, they are just too many of them and they are nasty, they will eat you if you dont watch out

  • wildwoman222: I can understand why Chinese eat dogs to them its just another animal like cows, can't argue with that! (Dog meat is actually quite nice)

BUT, I can't understand why American/Westerner would want to kiss a dog and Sleeps with a dog(I don't want to go there!)and follow it round a park scooping its shit! Its disgusting!

  • Who are you raving about?

  • the dalai lama is evil, he is an evil gook, he wants a world war and world domination of the east asia!!

  • Your videos are very interesting and informative.Your comments hits the bull eye.I wonder where you get the top secret informations from?

  • Tibeten people have a right to self rule. It does not matter if CIA backs students are not. This guy is nothing more than a Chinese plant.

  • and you're nothing more than a CIA dog.

  • What ever! :-)

  • 95% of Tibetians were slaves when dalai lama ruled.

  • 100% support for CHina....go China go. Cheer to a strong, advancing and prosperous China..Cheer to China's rise! China has the world's support behind it...the pathetic jealous neo-nazi U.S of ameriKKKa trying to contain and control China will be a complete failure and backfire...just like the terrorist america's CIA supports of the violence in Tibet, it actually UNITED Chinese people around the world and even other countries united with China. Dumb nazi ameriKKKa....hahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

  • Return Hawaii to their rightful Monarch!

Free Hawaii, restore Her Majesty Mahealani Kahau and her government ministers.

Forget CIA-backed Tibet........the Lama had them in chains....he wants them back in chains...slavery.

  • .

CCP freed tibetans from feudal system and you want

to preach human rights to them.

This must be the new kind of hypocrisy best known to

the west where race is still the determinant

factor of what one did is absolutely right.

Maybe tibet is karmaed to be part of china and as a

buddhist you should know that nobody

    breaks the law of karma.

  • tonloc01. CCP and nationalist. No one in the west want to destabilize China. Bone of contention is China has invaded a free and independent Tibet, continues to occupy, repress and undermines all cultural, religious and environmental concerns. Tibetans in Tibet do not want to be exploited by CCP. They want free Tibet. Human rights issue is propaganda for CCP only, rest of the world cherish human rights for human development. Not everybody is spineless and coward.

  • "For Tibetans it is matter of existence and extinction as a human race. They have no human rights, religious freedom."

    ------------------------------

This is pure exaggeration aimed at vilifying China for no other reason than to destabilize the country.

Human rights issues are just propaganda tools of the pro-independent Tibet of course with the help of the diabolic west.

and this pro-inde. tibet has the audacity to preach human rights when they are the one fomenting riots. LoL

  • 8. From 1951 to 1959 China broke every promise that she made towards Tibet, resulting in the Tibetan uprising against China in March 1959. His Holiness the Dalai Lama and 100,000 Tibetans escaped into exile. From that day onwards Tibet affectively became an occupied country.

  • Who broke the promise first is debatable. But "His Holiness" raised AN ARMY to defend his rule on Tibet and fled after his army was routed. Doesn't sound very holy to me!

  • takealook2008. When U go out of reasoning and evidence U think it is a joke. So be it for U coz UR expatriate Chinese living comfortably in Canada. For Tibetans it is matter of existence and extinction as a human race. They have no human rights, religious freedom. CCP never and will not care for feelings of Tibet. Look at the olympic torch relay in Lhasa. There was no spectators but party members only. It proves that China will go to any extend to gratify its hollow pride

  • The CIA, issues about the old Tibetan governmental system, the Dalai Lama, the complex history of Tibet, etc, all these are merely diversions, distraction, rationalizations and justifications for the invasion and illegal occupation, and exploitation of another country, their people and their environmental resources. It's really that simple.

  • The Tibetans have been marginalized in their own country, nomads are being relocated, and millions of Chinese have moved into Tibet. This was the plan of the government and it doesn't seem they will bend on this until Tibet is no longer Tibet, regardless of the name it will be anything but Tibet from a Tibetan's point of view.

  • The Tibetan people, their beautiful culture and religious system means nothing to the Chinese government. Oh, they'll do a few token things, save a couple of monasteries here and there but in reality the entire system is being dismantled. There is a multi-level cultural genocide underway. Even the Han-Chinese who move into Tibet are much more apt to side with the Chinese government, as they have a vested interest in not seeing the truth.

  • It's never about the well being of the people, in this case the Tibetans. It's about money, territory and power, East vs West, all that crap. The facts are as follows: Tibet has billions of dollars worth of resources, iron, uranium, copper, borax, lithium and gold. China has already removed billions of dollars in lumber from Tibet's forests, and in contrast to various reports there is billions of dollars worth of oil in Tibet.

  • Guys, I was trying to post a comment with a link to a video on why free Tibet movement was a fake but looks like I couldn't get the post thru.

Speaking about freedom of information looks like it is only a one way street when it is against China.

Pride of the west -- afraid of truth - I guess.

  • takealook2008 - A lot of Tibetans don't like CCP and a lot of Tibetans don't like how they're looked down on by Han-Chinese immigrants and a lot of Tibetans don't like losing their country. CIA is a joke. Iraq is a joke, a Bush scam and fortunately he'll soon be gone. It's not an issue of one group vs another, it's a problem of humanity in general. Freedom for Tibet is not a Western conspiracy. It's supporting an entire people and their right to be free and self-govern.

  • asian countries understand the history of china and thats why they dont demonstrate against china ...

the west instead are so ignorant and evil ..

they thought they know everything but they dont.

    stand strong china

never let them split you... NEVER

  • Not the ones I speak to and then there's the ones who are afraid to speak. So you think Tibetans like being marginalized in their own country? You're in denial. Go out to the country side, speak to monks and nuns and interview nomads. You won't feel the same. How can Tibetans speak up in Tibet? They go to prison, tortured and potentially killed. In order to understand the plan look at what happened to Buddhist in China prior to 1949, millions killed and Buddhism almost wiped out.

  • takealook2008 - Tibetans want a degree of modernization but on their terms at their own base and it should be by their own decision, not by force, not by forced assimilation. The lies run very deep, like so many Chinese saying Tibet has always been a part of China. This is so clearly false. In fact, there were moments in history when waring between nations was more common and Tibet conquered many parts of China, even ancient capital.

  • takealook2008 -

Not to mention the massive population of Han-Chinese that has moved into Tibet. This is nothing more or less than your basic run of the mill multi-level genocide. Right now nomads are having their land confiscated and they are being moved into relocation camps. Not everyone in the world agrees with your idea of progress. Just like not everyone agrees with Western view of progress. From a Tibetan viewpoint they are both barbaric.

  • takealook2008 - DL is not suggesting a return to the old system. Although I will tell you that many scholars & people who traveled through China and Tibet prior to 1949 say that many in China had it far worst than those in Tibet and in fact that Tibetans seemed much happier in general. Besides all the crap about the Dalai Lama is futile ways many Chinese employ to try to justify and rationalize illegal occupation of Tibet and take their land, lumber, water, rich resources like uranium, etc.

  • Penchein Lama and DL accepted titles under great duress and pressure. Of course the Chinese stated Tibet was theirs. BUT Tibetans fought off Britain without their help and thus won their autonomy. No legitimacy for China's rule. Being a Buddhist country their army was small and friendly with China. MOST TIBETANS WANT THE DL BACK ASAP. Go there and ask them for yourself. This guy is obviously reading from a cue card.

  • takealook2008. CCP and nationalists boast of tremendous development, but in case of Tibet they have deliberately chose to leave it backward as it was in 1947, they have same notion of Tibet as feudal or theocratic and done little to bring any concrete development. This invented history may work to fool the Chinese, not rest of the world

  • takealook2008 - yes, know Dalai Lma and history very well. Yes, have already been to Tibet on several occasions and I have Tibetan friends. I have no vested interest in my position. I trust those I speak with and what I see with my own eye.

  • Chinese should be kissing the Dalai Lama's feet. If not for him given how the Tibetans have been treated and how they've been marginalized surely by now Tibet would be a land of suicide bombers. It still can happen if China refuses to let go of its grip on Tibet. Once Dalai Lama dies many young Tibetans could potentially abandon the Middle Way approach.

  • No one is suggesting a return to old system which by the way was a system where many scholars agree that Tibetans were better off than the vast majority of people in China at the same time. Free Tibet because it's not China's to begin with and never will be.

  • Tibetan freedom is not Dalai Lama's cause only, make no mistake it is aspiration and cause of 6 million Tibetans who are under tyrannical rule of CCP. They spoke loud and clear, they want freedom

  • describe the "tyrannical rule of CCP" for us and enlighten us with the horrifying crime committed by the chinese gov't

  • Part II - The whole region to the East of that being the country of Great China and the whole region to the West being assuredly the country of Great Tibet, from either side there shall be no hostile invasion, no seizure of territory... and in order that this agreement establishing a great era when Tibetans shall be happy in Tibet and Chinese shall be happy in China shall never be changed, the Three Jewels, the body of Saints, the sun and the moon, planets and stars have been invoked as witness.

  • yes free tibet so the tibetants can roll back to the feudal age! woot, serfdom!

  • Part I - In 821 China and Tibet ended almost 200 years of fighting. Treaty is engraved on three stone pillars. One outside of Chinese Emperor's Palace, one on border between the two countries and one in Lhasa, Tibet. The treat reads in part: Both Tibet and China shall keep the country and frontiers of which they are now possessed.

  • CCP is biggest illegal human organ supplier in the world. Stop Killing innocent Tibetans. Tibet is an independent nation. China out of Tibet now

  • lol its like these people are so dumb and watching this makes no difference:

    1) Exiled tibetans

    2) Evil Racists

    3) Dumb fucks

  • vajra0150

u might not understand the entire history of china and the political scene at that time. we can't deny the fact chinese government ruled with iron fist at that time. But do u know what the japs & the allied nations did to china? go do ur homework..

  • thanks for informing us more about the history.

  • Just because we don't agree with u "Free Tibet" protesters doesn't make us brainwashed! You think the Tibetans aren't spreading propaganda? Think again! I think you guys are brainwashed by them!

  • enjoy hearing dogs barking loud , will it change any thing ? tibet is still part of china . you don't like it ? enjoy your barking day and night . no body can stop you ! it ANIMAL RIGHT !

  • It is truly scary how ridiculously misinformed you chinazis are. It must be your horribly polluted water supply that's made you all so fucking stupid. You think you're a modern country? Informed people of the free world laugh at you, but curse you for the monstrous barbarians you really are. Get out of Tibet, which is not part of China but an occupied nation. Stay at home & continue to kill your own prisoners for body parts. Your olympics are just like Hitler's was. "Splittest": what a joke.

  • Calling the Chinese "misinformed" and "so fucking stupid" is an uneducated, provocative comment in itself. But the fact that you have completely dismissed this well referenced video without stating your reason or showing that you are referring to any commended academic texts suggests your near total ignorance and stupidity on the subject.

  • seabiscuit:

Actually, it's an educated provocative comment. There's film of Chinese brutality in Tibet, just as there are "academic texts", but as they would refute your point of view you wouldn't accept them anyway. Better, talk to Tibetans who have escaped from the chinazi occupation.

The chinazis love to blame everything on the CIA: yes, they supported the resistance at first, but then they left them twisting in the wind as usual. The root of the problem is Han arrogance, thuggery, and lies

  • viagra0150:

"...they would refute your point of view you wouldn't accept them anyway." I haven't stated my point of view! You have just scored an own goal as your previous comment underlines the fact that you've jumped to a conclusion not me. You continue to dismiss the claims of the video and you still have not provided any valid evidence. I'm not a scholar on the subject and so I'm willing to listen to both sides of the argument. The video provides one, please feel free to provide the other.

  • Students for a Free Tibet was founded in New York City in 1994 by a group of Tibetans and young students and supporters. The concept of SFT was borne from the understanding of the critical role students and young people have played in freedom struggles throughout history.

  • Thats is so stupid where is th eproof tht free tibet organaizations worked with the CIA?? why wouldl CIA get involved in something like tht???

  • With very limitted media coverage They cover up SARS few years ago as long as they could and now they are covering up baby killing diseases. Anything negative about them they will hide and lie about it. Chinese people still supporting this government. I don't understand why. Can't they see a world beyond China?

  • why is the west so evil?

  • at least america allow outsiders to observe. alot better than china or zimbabwe.
