  • Environmental felon. Go to HELL, EXXONMOBIL!

  • soon and very soon we are going to see the king, soon and very soon we are going to see the king, soon and very soon we are going to see the king, halilujah halilujah, we are going to see the king, instead of trying to save a dying world y dont people prepare for eternity, its not a joke man, look around people, the world is not going to be saved or get better as a matter of fact everything thats happening is supposed to happen, even so LORD JESUS come quickly,

  • when the wind isn't blowing and the sun goes down who is going to fuel the western lifestyle?

i'd love to see you all go without for a while and see you come crawling back.

  • @arrow2951 Solar Panels will store energy and store it, so 24/7 energy retard. but still oil is money money for our economy.

  • agree entirely, but I must say that the web site put on at the end is pretty horrible.

really font 9 or higher wont hurt anyone.

  • ExxonMobil is a wonderful company. Full of butterflies and unicorns.

  • They are paying nothing in taxes while robbing us at the pump! why don't the cats on the hill step in and put a limit on their insane profits or at least make them pay taxes to support the US. They are among the worst and the boys are the hill love their lobby dollars

  • Great clip.

Hey and since 3 years Exxon Mobil is on the best way to pollute us all here in Germany with their crime methods.

  • I don´t give a fuck using oil but exxon mobile is a stupid company

  • Solar, wind power, thermal heating, electric vehicles.

It is up to the individual person to take the initiative of converting to these forms of renewable energy. You just have to make an effort. Your grand children will thank you.

  • "APCO has been a great partner for our company in continuing to develop efficient and innovative strategies to influence the public's perception about the science of human-caused climate change. Today, around half the American population doubts that the burning of fossil fuels has an impact on the earth's climate, which is an invaluable condition for our company's growth potential. This is in no small part thanks to APCO's expertise and professionalism." - Lee R.Raymond, former CEO ExxonMobil.

  • global warming does not exist. that is all :)

  • I've been unsuccessful in my life so I'm gonna blame my grievances on the CEO's of big companies.

  • Dear kylewp I'd "hit the books" and produced hydrogen with a chemistry 1 book by the time I was 13. Yes it take energy, ENOUGH SOLAR ENERGY HITS THE EARTH IN ONE DAY TO SUPPLY OUR NEEDS ALL YEAR. Its like panning gold, the better you do the more U make. Dig?

  • Match in the gas tank - boom boom!!

  • I think Exxon is just meeting a demand for oil many conveniences would be nonexistent without oil

  • i hate exxon for obvious reasons (contributions to global warming, their gas prices are always way too high, etc.). i can't tell you the last time i ever filled up at an exxon station, but it wasn't recently. the only positive thing about filling up there is that you'll be raising my uncle's stock

  • @misslizzie2007 Wow. Exxon makes the gasoline, but you BURN IT. YOU are the one contributing to global warming, not them. I betcha if Exxon was put out of business you would want them back once you realized that you couldn't go anywhere in your car.

  • @kylewp , no, I wouldn't miss them at all. Ignoring the pollution aspect, Exxon is still one of the worst corporations in the world.

As for individuals contributing to global warming, sure, you're right. But Exxon and other oil companies have been paying our governments to design our cities, jobs, shopping ... everything ... around oil. And of course the last US government WAS the oil companies. How is an individual supposed to compete against that?

  • @rg0057 Come on man really? Paying to design our cities around oil? Everything is automatically designed around oil because it is probably the most crucial component of our infrastructure. So obviously everything is designed around oil.

And I suppose you drive a horse and buggy right?

I respect your opinion but honestly I think you really need to step back and take an honest reality check my friend.

  • I dont get it.

  • rather be seeing oil wells and locations then those dumb turbines that are really crappy

  • ¡It's horrible!

  • NOW is the time for all good PEOPLE to come to the aid of OUR EARTH, BP oil spill alerts sleeping populace to evil of BIG OIL and the Oilty.

It is time for ALL Environmental PPL and ORGS to unite to END LIMITED LIABILITY for poisoning CORPS. BardOfEarth on TWITTER plese write and act.

  • Exxon paid no income tax for 2009 profits. Google it.

  • Exxon Mobile is the richest company in the world (300 billion revenue 2009), and it only takes a fraction of that to get a companies (like DCI group) to make anti-science propaganda and have their little marketers influence the world's idiot sheep with low IQ's.

  • To hell with those terrorists financers! I fuel my car with ethanol!

  • I'm tired of people bashing oil companies. Let's put global warming aside for a a second. Companies like Exxon are simply meeting a demand. Let's face it, we're all addicted to oil. Oil makes a lot more than gasoline. Plastic is made DIRECTLY out of oil. Oil and natural gas drive and lubricate the production processes that make EVERY SINGLE PRODUCT YOU BUY from your kid's bike to your prescription drugs. So unless you have your own answer to global warming, don't go after companies you depend on

  • Exxon goes well beyond "meeting a demand" of fuel. They are funding propaganda against scientific evidence of global warming, identical to the campaigns by cigarette companies when cancer was being disputed. Everything you see about global warming being false (and the sheep who believe it) comes from Exxon and associates. It's very clever, and it's just pocket change for them to do it.

  • @kylewp SORRY, you're under informed or an oil industry mole. HYDROGEN could have replaced Oil in the 20S of LAST CENTURY. Germany fueled 20% of its cars with HYDROGEN before WW!. Read the Sciences like I have for 50 years. BIG OIL Suppresses new TECHNOLOGY.

  • "The 1966 GM Electrovan is credited with being the first hydrogen fuel cell car ever produced. Though fuel cells have been around since the early 1800's, General Motors was the first to use a fuel cell to power the wheels of a vehicle". Additionaly, in 1936 for every 50 cars in America Germany had 1.

  • @BardOfEarth Are you aware that producing hydrogen requires ENERGY? If you want to produce hydrogen, you need to use a source of energy, such as coal, oil, natural gas, etc.

I suggest you hit the books if you want to debate on the energy industry.

  • talk about left wing propaganda

  • Liberals and hippies have built this country, dumbass gopconservative.

You've obviously never done a day of work in your life. You've lived off nothing but massive corporate welfare. You should be forced to die for your stupid case and have all your assets taken away to compensate society and the hardworking environmentalists at Greenpeace and IPCC.

Don't go raising MY cost of living with YOUR selfish lifestyle.

  • @jretard: If you want to pollute and raise YOUR taxes and have YOUR freedoms taken away by ExxonMobil, then you and ExxonMobil should die for YOUR cause, which is stupid. Can't wait to see you in prison for life with your criminals against humanity at Exxon. Guilty of armed robbery: Exxon has not yet paid the $5billion it owes for the Valdez disaster.

    Stupid Holocaust-Evolution-GW denier.

  • Sad how some follow the government with blinder's without researching or WANTING to research first!

  • Go ride a bike with wooden wheels you hippies, I cant believe how naiive and hypocritical people can be. 1) Global warming has been a natural cyclical occurance for billions of years and is inevitable. 2) Compare the huge corporation's profits to its even LARGER investments required to produce oil. Not enough people understand all of the hard work and massive overhead that goes into letting you drive your kids to school every day....

  • Your biased in your words, your words mean little after your first sentence

  • loose billions - get taxpayer bailout

make millions, pay billions in taxes, employ hoards of people - people hate you

    People are dumb

  • correction:

do their best to destroy the planet and worm their way out of punishment,

    lose billions,

make billions and pretend to pay lots of taxes.

  • I have never understood those who argue that the government seeks power for the sake of power. I've worked on the hill, and trust me these people do what they do for one of two reasons, they're bought and paid for to do it, or they are genuinely trying to do what they think is right. The latter are usually too stupid to know how to get anything done.

  • All of you that support this government carbon tax fraud are fools. They want another reason to milk the masses, so they feed people propaganda and tax them for the air they breathe.

  • Exxon-Mobil is owned by the Rockefeller dynasty who are the real royal authority ruling over America since John D. became the world's first billionaire gangster.

  • LOL

If that were true then they would have been able to seperate the CEO from his Chairman of the Board position which they wanted to do, but it was voted down.

  • Are you retarded? Who gives a sh*t what tool is the chairman? Who do you think this war for oil is being fought for? George Bush? Wise up son.

  • Again I LOL

Oil prices have dropped 60% in the last year. Fact.

Exxon Mobil doesn't own any oilwells in Iraq. Fact.

If your point about the chairman being a tool for the Rockefellers was true then they would have been able to do to his position what they wanted. Fact.

You're a dumbass who believes in conspiracy and nwo theories. Fact.

  • Wow you are tool who loves his masters. You suck beyond comparison. The same day we withdrew our troops Exxon bid for the oil in Iraq and you don't think it's coincidence. Rockefellers control all the big oil companies btw, not just Exxon.

  • Don't worry global warming will let you party some more with arctic ice melting and fights over offshore drilling rights.

    watch?v=a0S7nPQUgZ4

  • lol politicians suck

  • @Danotto9797 so do oil companies

  • Your just saying that because you want to make people mad.

  • I'm not a scientist but it seems that if you don't believe global warming is due to CO2 emissions then you are just as dumb as the folks back in the 40s and 50s who said that smoking wasn't bad for you. Of course, we can always count on the GOP to take the side of stupidity.

  • totally. there is sooooo much proof that climate change is real and is caused by CO2 emissions. it is so obvious. you would have to be a real idiot not to see it

  • Comment removed

  • don't you think its funny that the CEO of exxon (dick cheney) gets picked by bush to be his V.P.? and then they go and make it even easier for companies like exxon to trash our planet and our economy.

  • I don't have an issue with it. I'm a shareholder and I rather have my fat dividend checks than liberal hippies wanting to make nice with terrorists.

  • Dick Cheney was never the CEO of Exxon, you fool. You're thinking about Halliburton.

  • Maybe...But you know, they're both just as bad.

  • I love the oil companies...I hope Exxonmobil makes $50 billion in 2009! All Enviromentalists should be arrested and sent to France.

  • you are sooo stupid! you would rather a corrupt corporation that is destroying our planet as I type make $50 billion in '09?

please get an education and then tell me that you still hope that Exxonmobil makes any money at all.

and dude, whathell is your problem with france? or environmentalists? environmentalists are trying to save our planet, while idiots like you help destroy it.

  • Damn straight, profit is all that matters. Morons like you should be rounded up and placed into camps.

  • dude, when the world becomes so polluted that it is uninhabitable, you won't be able to make any profit,

  • Hell yeah!

  • Comment removed

  • gopconservative78, you're a rare example of a proud dirty rat who`s not afraid to show her guts to the world!

    Good for you!!!

  • you think it's good that there are people who would destroy our planet four a few bucks? news flash, we only get one earth! we should take care of it!

  • I completely agree with you chickendude 122, my reply was against U know who.

  • oooh. good, at least there are some educated people in the world

  • Its a lonely world my friend, but not completely lonely.

  • apparently not. I wish it wasn't though, maybe then climate change wouldn't be such an issue

  • this is AWESOME! it is nice to know that not everyone in the world has been bought by the oil companies

  • In the 70's scientists predicted a new ice age and it was just as serious as the global warming thing is today. Apparently all the fossil fuels and other pollutants we were putting into the atmosphere were slowly blocking out the sun and cooling the earth. That idea got scraped just like this one will. You have to take this kind of thing with a grain of salt.

  • so they predicted that, and they were wrong. but see the funny thing is, is that anyone with half a brain and an eye can tell that global warming exists. oh sorry, i guess you can't tell 'cause you don't have a brain. no wonder

  • when the scientists said that in the '70s it was just a few of them and most people knew they were wrong, however, anyone with any scientific education can see that global warming exists. seriously

    STOP POLLUTING OUR PLANET!!!!

  • @AlexJordan09

You GW-deniers are worse than Holocaust deniers. At least Holocaust deniers deny the tragedy AFTER it happened. YOU guys will CAUSE the GW tragedy.

Just like the extremist Nazis who would distort and twist some lie about Jews and repeat it like the fanatics they were, fanatic GW-deniers repeat this lie that scientists in the 1970s "predicted" global cooling.

That was ONE NON-PEER-REVIEWED OPINION piece in TIME magazine!

  • if you don't believe in climate change, go to alaska. and if that doesn't convince you, you must be blind.

    CLIMATE CHANGE IS REAL!

  • do any people know the title of the music?

  • If you want a career in the oil and gas industry visit: Oilcareer com

  • oh silly ignorant people who are so detached from their environment that they love to ride the Republican media wave and deny science. I'm sure all of you denying climate change have PhD's in environmental science or related field and are legitimate members of the scientific community, right?

    I rest my case

  • I'm not arguing any science here. I just wanted to say that was HILARIOUS! I would kill a CEO with a club to see that on TV.

  • lol this should be a commercial during the superbowl

  • Global warming is a 1000 year process dip shits, we cannot stop it, we can just slow it down...

  • It's amusing reading the comment's of lies posted on here by Republicans and Exxon Employees...

Global warming is fact, anyone who refutes it is a complete moron..

  • yeah, that's what they said when they were hanging people for heresy for claiming the earth wasn't the center of the universe, too.

  • someone once said: "How arrogant humans are to think that they can even make a dent in the history of the earth" - of which a minute amount includes man. Last time the Mediterranean dried up, and they grew vineyards in Scotland, Range Rovers and Exxon weren't to blame now were they

  • you are such a fool, Exxon and Range Rovers didn't exist last time the Mediterranean dried up.

if you can't tell that global warming exists, you are either lying to yourself to make it easier to make more money, or you have an I.Q. of 0.3

  • hottest year on record:1934

planet has cooled over the last 7 years-Nasa

Norwegian meteorological institute finds more ice than normal in arctic waters

Consistent cooling over the last decade - founder of the weather channel

Al Gores "drowning polar bears" were computer generated and he hasn't released his "evidence" on the subject

Porcupine Caribou population has increased 4-5 fold in Prudhoe Bay, IE source of the alaskan pipeline

Not a bad string of lies for the firsthalf

  • Natural annual oil seepage in the gulf alone equals twice that of the valdez spill, drilling not only relieves the pressure on the domes causeing the seepage, but contains the oil and takes it out of the environment

They profit margin is less than 8%, mary kay and al gore's "Google", hell just about any company makes more

Funny how they talk about junk science, and support their position with hard evidence like animations.............

    vids a joke

  • People like you are the reason the world is heading in a direction for disaster. You probably think car exhaust is good for us, and bleach is ok to drink..

    Idiot.

  • Oh wow, look at all of your well thought out counterpoints! You sure showed me to be wrong! I retract all my statements, excuse me while I flagellate myself in penance for my failure.......

  • Are you employed by Exxon by any chance?

  • Sorry, this comment was supposed to go under

    wytkrackas.

  • No, I wish, they have great retirement packages. Even if I were that wouldn't automatically denote that I was wrong. I may as well claim that you gullible gits are wrong simply because your green alarmists.

  • no 1934 was not the hottest record ever. that was made by some super skeptic. and jay zwally says that we will lose all the artic ice by 2012. so if all this was setting records. then guess what california will not have wildfires...will be cover in snow.

  • You can be a skeptic, even a super one, and still be right. NASA realized they had made an error in their meteorological formulas, corrected it, and found 1934 to take the top, although 34, 98, and 05 were all just about tied. Most studies refuting this are based on NOAA's data retreived from their 1200 or so thermometer stations, numerous stations have since been found to be installed on runway tarmacs covered in jet wash, next to AC and HVAC exhaust, some have light bulbs burning inside.......

  • match in the gas tank boom boom.

  • Love it. Pity so many people can't see the contracdiction of the obvious. And what do they mean by "ride the tiger"?

  • i think its a simbol of exxon, i don't know to.

  • yes, it is!

  • imperial oil also use the tiger symbol as well.there the eexon of canada.

  • Funny video!Saving the planet my fat-ass,ha what a laugh!

  • don't worry everyone, jesus is coming back. so it doesn't matter if the world becomes uninhabitable. trust your leaders why would they lie ??? oh and god bless exxon mobil

  • Trust me, my friend, Jesus will return when we truly need him. For now, this is in our control, and we can stop it without needing The Son of God to come all the way down here.

  • Proverbs 21:20 There is treasure to be desired and oil in the dwelling of the wise; but a foolish man spendeth it up.

  • The day I give birth out of my rectum, that's the day Jesus will return.

  • Driving up price of oil will get people to use less.

  • But what about the developing world. Do you think that a barrel of oil that cost $115 dollars is going to make china want to stop developing their economy? It might make Americans drive less but we are already to damn privledged. Who are we to tell the developing world not to do what we did 100 years ago.

  • Do you think this is about moral high ground? It's not matter of telling developing world anything. They don't listen anyway. They are merely victims to economics of energy, just like other countries.

I hope oil costs $300 a barrel soon. Then it might cost as much as bottled water or the roasted bean juice served up at Starbucks. We're burning to much oil, making oven of this planet.

If tables were turned, developing world wouldn't waste one tear on us. We'd be buried alive already. シンタロ

  • PAPERCLIPS22(Oil EXEC?)-I did my research. Fluid commodity? If what your saying is true and not oil company propaganda, then why is the following true? Since oil hit a national average of $3.25 gal. America's oil consumption has leveled off for the 1st time in history. We have been at level consumption for over two months and the prices are still skyrocketing while supply is high. So Einstein, how to much oil stock do you own?You offer critizism and a BS, GBush Excuse "addicted to oil"-CRAP~!!

  • Have you ever heard of China? or are you just ignorant. Its the developing world that is driving demand up. So yeah US consuption has leveled off but 1.5 billion chinese are making up for it plus much more.

  • Hey thezenofsurf. you need to check your research. The world does not stop at the US borders. Yes US consumption is leveled off but the developing world (e.g. China)is driving demand at a alarming rate. Think Global next time you "do your reasearch" IDIOT!!!!!!

  • Because it's a world oil market, "Einstein", we're not the only nation using oil, virtually every industrialized nation is steadily increasing their usage, most notably China and India who have been expanding industrially at exponential rates. Industry = oil. The favored mode of transportation in China right now? Big, fat, American manufactured SUV's. Buick has better sales numbers there than in the US.

  • BOYCOTT ONLY EXXON/MOBIL (same company). America-Go to the stations across the street or just down the road but not Ex-Mo. Their stock will crash after 2 weeks~!Tell'em $1.50 Gal brings us back. They comply and now everyone goes to just them for gas. All the other bastards (oil) have to lower their prices or crash~! KISS-Keep it simple stupid! The only simple solution without these stupid one day boycotts that don't work. This way you can buy all the gas you want and hit the biggest company~

  • Oil is a fluid commodity--if one company doesn't sell enough, they can sell the excess to other companies. It doesn't matter WHERE you buy it, only HOW MUCH. The only way to actually lower prices is if everyone simply USES LESS GAS/OIL.

  • If you think you can actually impact ExxonMobil stock price your an idiot

  • JWWITLEY-Why dont you move to China? You should fit right in at the shower room in the gym~!LOL~!Think of all the oil you could rub on your new Chinamen buddies?~Think GLOBAL!I'll spring for your plane ticket . . .HAHA~!

  • @jwwhitley9

If that's the case, then GW-deniers have nothing to fear if we pass tough legislation to outlaw oil, gas, and nuclear and subsidize wind, solar, etc the same way the oil-corporate welfarists have been subsidized and raising everyone's taxes for over a century.

Like you said, there's no way to impact ExxonMobil stock, even if we throw their execs in prison for life for failure to pay for their crimes with Valdez and other crimes against humanity.

  • I always wanted to know what Drinkingwithbob was ranting on about when he mentioned that they sponsered Exxon for their American Idol Gives Back thing.

  • The hottest parts of the world are actually expected to cool down somewhat as global CLIMATE CHANGE results in a massive increase in energy-distributing storms, many of which will be rather violent... warming the poles by far the most. So yeah, technically they are correct, there will not be GLOBAL warming, just global climate change. Until people get the facts straight, they will continue to be disputed.

  • You are switching the facts, and you know it! The hottest parts of the world are becoming even hotter and are turning into dessert. Maybe you should come and take a look at southern European countries were not a single drop of rain has falled since several months now. Instead of attacking and destroying other countries, invest your money in REAL scientific research.

  • Since when has ANY part of Europe been among the hottest places on the Earth?!? LOLOL. Try spending some time in Arizona or Iraq - they are already deserts and rainfall is expected to increase. I'm not too concerned about Europe, its waaaaaaaay far north and when the sea currents change, it'll get a LOT cooler there. Just wait for Greenland to melt off, k?

  • The hottest parts of the world are actually expected to cool down somewhat as global CLIMATE CHANGE results in a massive increase in energy-distributing storms, many of which will be rather violent... warming the poles by far the most. So yeah, technically they are correct, there will not be GLOBAL warming, just global climate change. Until people get the facts straight, they will continue to be disputed.

  • Exxon mobil SUCKSSS!!!!

  • Toast the Earth with Exxon Gas.yess sir.

  • The ocean puts off billions of times more CO2 than humans do. Mabey we should get rid of the ocean. Certainly we need to be more considerate to the planet and recycle and conserve energy for future generations However, The sun puts off greater heat caused by hot spots on its surface this cause the ocean to rise in teperature which causes more Co2 emissions hense looking closely at the graphs you will notice Co2 levels follow temperature rise not the other way around.

  • I think you're a little confused. The ocean ABSORBS carbon dioxide, it doesn't put it off. As atmospheric CO2 levels rise, the ocean becomes more inundated with CO2 (in the form of carbonic acid) and has less ability to buffer the human CO2 inputs to the atmosphere.

  • Sure the ocean is a big trap for Co2, you are right. However, with rise in temperature where does all the Co2 go? out of the ocean. It has for millions of years before man ever came around.

  • Yeah, I left that part out. But wouldn't that cause a runaway effect? I.e., humans emit more CO2, global temperature rises, the oceans absorb less CO2.............

  • Temperatures have gone up and down for the entire span of the earth. In the 40s and 50s there was big debate about global cooling. In 2020 or around there we will go back to that.

Global warming started around the 1700s and has been going up since then following the little ice age. This began Long before man was emitting anything into the atmosphere.

  • Insert in second to last sentance: up and down since then on steady rise up. So the graph would look like a diagnal up and to the right while fluctuating.

  • Yes, but what this shows is that Earth's climate system is highly sensitive to minute perturbations. And, human CO2 inputs are a very large perturbation. It's misleading to say that climate fluctuates over time--this it does, but how much worse is it going to be now that we're contributing so many greenhouse gases to the atmosphere?

Oh, and on global cooling--this was largely because of smog emissions that blocked sunlight in the atmosphere. Another example of human-caused climate change.

  • I guess people werent farting, farming, or burning wood back then if they werent emitting anything in the 1700's then! They must have eaten raw nothing in the cold which resulted in less flatulence! People in the 1700's must have been carbon neutral robots. LOL!

  • I apologize for that, "emiting anything". Thank you for pointing that out.

In the geolgy department at the university I am attending there is only one of the seven geolgist who believe in human induced global warming. We are not making a big enough impact on Co2 levels to make any big difference. watch the global warming swindle notice the best of the best scientists credentials. Notice inconvinant truth very few quotes from people who are trained or professional on the subject.

  • what the fuck are you talking about? the earth is rotting... wake up...

  • Interestingly enough Exxon funds not only programs that are against global warming. They also support programs that support global warming. They give grants to just about any sientist. This is partly for tax ride offs.

  • I think saying Exxon is the most hated company on earth would be a huge understatement..

  • Exxon is drunk.

  • Its how america works dumbasses. Oh man! Exxon figured out how to make money! AAAAH! lets call them evil nazis!

Of course, everything solves itself. Either we will start drilling in america (finally) or another company will realize that if they drop their prices a bit, nobody will buy exxons crap, and another oil company will become powerful. Its a cycle of success.

  • Ja ja ja! CONGRATULATIONS FRIENDS! UP PDVSA!

DOWN EXXON! UP HUGO CHAVEZ FOREVER! DOWN THE VENEZUELA'S ENEMIES!

  • The Exxon corporation RULES!

  • maybe u are rich or u are a poor idiot...

  • your the fuckin idiot.

  • south america looks like a punching bag

  • Even if Global Warming is real...exactly what can you do about it?

Even if you do everything you suggest...the planet's is still going to rise, and you're still cooked.

***The Only Solution*** is for a rapid decrease in human population. Getting the human population down to about 2 billion should do the trick.

So....global warming advocates...are you willing to do your part and kill yourself to save the earth?

  • "Big Oil" has made HUGE profits from the "green revolution". I don't believe any one of them are actually scared of KYOTO. They already control 70% or more of "alternative energy research & development".

I suspect they are actually FUNDING this opposition to advance their monopoly of alternative energy (which they will essentially have if we keep pushing them to invest in alternative energy).

Don't fool yourselves. They have no loyalty to "oil".

  • Everyone needs to actually READ the nefarious "leaked" minutes from EXXON. ...you know, the ones that spawned the whole "exxon secrets" and "exxon exposed" greenpeace campaign.

Just read them. I'm serious. Read them. Find them and read them. I hate EXXON. They are pirates. ...but those "leaked" memos contain NOTHING worth "exposing".

  • ·The U.N. commissioned a team of scientists to say that man-made global warming is real, and that the implications are disasterous.

·The U.N. suggests that we need a world-wide "carbon tax" to fix the problem.

·The carbon tax will be paid to the U.N.

I'm no rocket-scientist, but I see a HUGE conflict of interest here.

We didn't trust the scientists commissioned by "big tobacco", so why should we trust the scientists commissioned by the imperialists at the U.N.? =\

  • Great Video, I concur. I think we all should get together and do something about it though. The time has come to remember that the power really does lie with the people. I posted a video that proposes a solution. ARE YOU WITH ME??

  • doesn't it occur to anyone that global warming is just an international taxing scheme!

  • true!...they'll see it soon enough...in the mean time in the next 50 years its gonna heat up the worl half a degree...

  • regardless of what anybody says we as people should be cleaner in our everyday lives, run/bike/walk instead of drive to places, we not only will reduce CO2 emissions but we would also be shedding fat off our fat asses, face it of we all drove hybrids and fuel efficient vehicles, the world will be a cleaner place, but oh no we have to have our big cars w/ our big engines, really does it make sum1 small feel big or make you more of a man?

  • I totally agree.

Oil will be required, whether for transportation or plastics or medicines or thousands of other products for quite some time. So it's not going away.

But we should all try to reduce our emissions. Firstly, because it's economical.

The jury is still out on global warming.

  • the Question is: If 2500 scientists from all over the world agree that global warming is here and happening, and that consequences are bad - are you going to ignore it, because lawyers paid by oil companies say it's not happening?

well... than just ignore those 2500 scientists who spend all their lifetime to study physics and chemistry and biology and geology - and just believe in some guy who doesn't know anything like this.

  • The f--ked up with the Valdez, and they refuse to pay damages for it. They have spent money to clean it up... But I really doubt they wanted to spend a single $.

  • Wow.

Do you think they wanted that to happen in the first place?

The Exxon Valdez spill is the seventeenth -seventeenth- largest spill in recorded history. Hell, the Japanese were responsible for several thousand times the amount of the Exxon Valdez by all the oil tankers they sunk in World War II.

There were sixteen other spills that were larger than the EV, but they were all by non-American firms. So you've never heard of them.

Why would XOM want to pay punitive damages?

    Would you?

  • The Exxon Valdez spilled 11MM bbls of oil.

Wanna know what the biggest spill was?

When Saddam Hussein literally flooded rivers with oil to prevent enemy ships from moving up river (which these ships never did nor had any plans to).

The amount? 260MM bbls. Twenty-three times the amount of the Exxon Valdez.

  • Saddam Hussein claimed that that spill resulted when U.S. forces bombed two tankers. Not that I trust Hussein... but I don't trust Bush either. You must admit, it is a little suspicious that Hussein had nothing tactically to gain from that maneuver.

Sure, XOM wouldn't *want* to pay punitive damages- but they're still fucking responsible! The damage to the ecology and economy of the area was massive and irreparable. And they could certainly afford to pay, with the obscene profits they rake in.

  • If you think 10 percent profits is obscene, I don't want to see your rant about microsoft or google.

  • How about $40.6 billion in 2007--the largest corporate profit in history?

    Smartass.

  • *American history

  • Most of the world percieves it to be real.

=> The world percieves the actions of the US (Bush) to really lack moral fibre.

We're spending $790,000,000/day to get more oil to burn.

  • Even if it was unlikely:

Global Warming is Real and Man-Made:

    Probability: 10%

    Value: -$Infitity (Apocalypse)

    Global Warming is Not Real:

    probablity: 90%

    Value: 0

    (0.10) X -$Infinity = $ Negative Infinity

  • Wow.

    I am totally convinced.

  • Also, doesn't it make more sense to try to cut down CO2 emissions in case global warming is happening, rather than have the risk of becoming extinct in a century or two? I'm not saying that global warming is definately happening, but we shouldn't just continue with our unethical lifestyle and hope for the best.

  • As far as I can see, there is no conclusive proof either way about global warming, however most of the evidence seems to say that it is happening. Maybe CO2 levels were higher a very long time ago, but that would still probably have led to lots of species becoming extinct.

  • Ok, so what would you do with out what people like Exxon do then, you'ld have no oil so you wouldn't have cars, public transport, heating etc. People shouldn't be so hard on people like Exxon unless they can fullfil the needs of the world in a more 'environmentaly friendly' way

  • so true

  • Funny video. But unfortunately there will be no such excessive cartoon about Al Gore as standing in the top of a SUV(brought by the incomings of the "An Inconvenient Truth") and sending every Global Warming-skeptic into a concentration camp, what is guarded by GreenpeaSS troops. I hate green nazism!

  • How do you know he drives an SUV? Have you seen him in one? You make absolutely no sense.

  • Not sure about Al, but his kid was arrested (driving a hybrid) with an illegal amount of marijuana on him.

  • I hate fuckin idiots protesting big companies like exxon , mostly because when they go to a protest they use old cars that just add to the problem.

  • the reason they use older cars is because the rich people are apid by exxon, so they dont protest. so piss off, dick.

  • What?

  • even if global warming is fake we are still wasting our resources and ruining the earth anyways...so who wants to step in line and tell me why there is a whole in sky where the atmosphere used to be?
