  • Ray Thomas will be turning 70 within two weeks. God bless you Ray and thanks!

  • The GREATEST BAND EVER for me. English Bands have always Ruled Supreme. Majestic and Royal is their sound. Hell fly his astro plane.. :-) ~~~PEACE & LOVE~~~

  • Ray Thomas is very much alive. He reitred from the Moodies in 2002.

  • ray and all moody,s are the greatest

  • Saw MBs at Ravinia in Highland Park IL last year. Fantastic! I have been listening to them my whole life, and it was my first time seeing them. They played nearly every one of my favorite tunes, but alas, not this one. Thanks for posting this video - probably as claose as I'll ever get to hearing this "live."

  • Met Ray in Phoenix back in 2004 before he passed, what a great guy, ran into him at an IHop pancake house at 2 Am, sat for over an hour drinking coffee and talking about music and songwriting. RIP Ray, you have been an influence on me as songwriter

  • @BLUESMANRONCHICAGO When did Ray Thomas die?

  • @meangreen69Nova Please ... Ray is well. Whew.

  • @BLUESMANRONCHICAGO Thankfully, I'm pretty sure Ray is still with us!

  • timothy leary was a lsd guru

  • @b62able Timothy Leary was a mentor for me in the 60s and early 70's. Cool Guy with Love in his heart just as the Moody Blues have much Love in theirs. :-) ~~~PEACE & LOVE~~~ forever..

  • in those days, an ode to Timothy Leary took balls for a big name band, and the Moody Blues had the sound, the lyrics, and the stones to do it right.

  • Thanks so much for sharing this beautiful musique. One of the Greatest Bands ever!

I never got the opportunity to see them live in concert. I was too young to go alone and knew of no other MB fans! So Thanks for sharing! It's almost like having been there! Peace and Light Always

  • thanks for the post~best smooth Band in the World~Own all their music~Deep~and really~it takes you somewhere~

  • This song should come with a disclaimer about LSD!

  • Ray Thomas was Moody Blues, think what U like and I am not taking anything away from Justin ,Graeme & John and others.sound is timeless>>>

  • I went to Woodstock and when I went back to school , I wrote an essay on it and english teacher gave me an F . She said it was about sex and drugs. I said " Timothy Leary would have been proud of me "

  • Twinklebear22 said it all. OMG is right.

  • lol.......it seems half dubbed...half live....you can see jonn smiling his head off...he's half stoned, knows this is fake or half both...lol...anyway...great footage....wtg moodies.been a life long fan......tnx to ever posted this ...love it

    Michael

  • Wait this isn't live.Someone dubbed the record version in?

  • My favourite group long before Beatles !! (yes)

I am enjoy to see theses vidéos and there were in Paris !

I could'nt go to hear them just because my parents don't alow me to go out at night !

    I was 16 : (

Thank a lot for sharing that with us and Bravo !

  • I met Tim a few years before his death and he told me he loved the song ... maybe he softened to it?

  • Who can we slap around to find out why they're no in the R&R Hall of Fame? It has to be the biggest "slight" in the music industry! Prince? Blondie? Jan & Dean? and no Moodies?

  • Timothy Leary hated this song, but I think it is a Moody Blues classic...

  • What a truly awesome Classic Song by "The Moodies". This group will never die in my mind.

  • I love doing this number and substituting "G. Gordon Liddy" for "Timothy Leary"--the listeners almost never get it, but when they do...

  • the moody blues are a spirt of a generation, and i believe timmothy leary's ashes are in outer space

  • Remarkable, understated performances by all the guys. Graeme's percussion on this is just perfect. Love it. Thanks for posting.

  • Better make that Ray Thomas....

  • Ray Pender allegedly wrote this song after he and Justin Hayward spent a weekend with Leary at his mansion in upstate New York. "Remarkably", said Hayward, "we were not offered any LSD. But that didn't mean that we hadn't brought along our own supply!"

  • he is dead ,,,now

  • The point is if you can't be 'A Legend In Your Own Mind; where is the legend? We are the best of what we want to be. Timothy Leary was just a man. Make your own legacy and just maybe they will write a song about you. The greatest band who ever was- and HUMBLE about it also. God speed Moody's- I'll hitch a ride anytime or anywhere with you!

  • As much as I like the song it was still about a drug pusher. O'Leary was an LSD nut.

  • Wow... can he play that flute or what! A true test of a band is if they can sound the same live as they do in the studio...and the Moody Blues pass all the time. Just as good now as then. truly fantastic.!

  • Great tune !

  • See within yourselves. Look within yourselves, That's what they are saying. Feel the change. The ability to fky your 'astral plane'. They are people too. Looking for a Tmothy Leary- actually, looking for another. He flew his astral plane. The change to come. We can write the words- only they can write the lyrics!

  • I dig this song as much as the next person, but it's not a live concert...it's them miming along to the studio recording...dang. I was hopeful that it was a live recording...I wanted to hear what this song sounded like back then.

Still, this is cool archival footage, just the same.

  • @wellthenhey You are so right. This is exactly the studio version note for note, beat for beat, harmonization for harmonization. But it's still great, ain't it?? Type in Legend of a mind in your search & you will come up with a few different for real live versions.

  • Nothing settles the soul like the Moody Blues. Huge thanks for this. It is a fresh as yesterday. So, so glad to have found the song and so glad to have been part of the Moody Blues generation.

  • @sharing1949 Very well put! Not one of their best known tracks but so redolent of them at their best - bless,

  • Thank you for taking me back to a much gentler time in my life. Ray Thomas has always amazed me with his musical talent and this song hits a chord or two in my life.. A great job at the editing too!

    My thanks

  • ...Never lost it's luster!

  • .. fall/70 they perfored at Boston Garden. DAD/a police sgt / had the 'detail'. Me my girl and a friend and his girl had good seats ten or so rows back from the front. Anyway Mike Pinder annouced, just like this here "Legend of the Mind" I went nuts , got up went by the cops who said ... oh that's Georgie Carroll's kid... were are you going? I said my I go there/ up 6 or 7 stairs on stage... OK but sit down and don't budge and come back down before the break... An EXPERIENCE OF A LIFETIME.-:)

  • @time2act1001 awesome MB rock for all time.

  • @CreepyCrawlyCat You are right my friend, this song is like a roller coaster ride the way the melody changes continuously in the song. I love it!! It is a true masterpiece!! I love this band too!! Only had the opportunity to see them once in 1993 but looking forward to seeing them again this spring!! :)) A truly phenomenal band indeed!! The Moodies forever my friend!! ♥

  • When Timothy Leary passed, just before - he said he saw something wonderful. I hope he saw his paradise. Not because I loved him, but because God does.

  • I just wanted to post a big thank you to Moodies Fan for this song in particular, but also for the concert from Paris as a whole - a truly wonderful experience. I also grew up on the Moodies and Pink Floyd, and this is just fantastic. I don't think the music dates at all. Just so much more creative than today. The only scary thing is that this concert is 40 years old - sort of gives your age away !

  • The Moody Blues made some of the greatest music in the entire history of Rock 'n Roll..... nuff said.............

  • wow tri[[ypppyyy

  • Ray now has his own website raythomas.me-why not pay a visit.

  • OMG!! I finally found this song!!! I have always loved this song!! My dad used to play this song when i was a little girl and it used to scare me!! I thought Timothy was truly outside looking in our house!! lol But I so love this song!! I grew up on The Moody Blues and their music has so touched my soul and shaped my life. Their music is just pure gold and pure magic! Their music is just beautiful and full of true meaning and emotion. I miss the days of this music ! Beautiful! RIP Pop<3

  • @twinklebear22 I'm just like you with this song, I always found it a bit eerie... but I love it! I was mildly obsessed with it for a while and played it constantly, over and over again. It's got a magic about it.

  • @yellingelk Me too my friend!! I was so obsessed with it just recently when I finally found it again after all these years. I never knew the name of the song but always remembered it. My dad left my life when I was young so I never got to hear what this song was from him. Anyway, yeah , I played it over and over and to be honest, I still do!! lol :)) It is just a great song all the way around, even if it is a bit eerie!! :)) Thanks for your comment friend!! ☺♪

  • @twinklebear22 Your comments for this - recorded in France - set if vids are great! By any chance are you into the Grateful Dead...?!

  • @kewlbreez yes!! I do love Grateful Dead! I have quite a few fav songs from them. Ripple being my all time fav. Very personal to my heart!! And thank you so much for your kind words friend!! :))

  • @twinklebear22 I share your amazement as well.... it's been too long since. And i miss my dad too. Good people. Superdave

  • @twinklebear22 Just about all their stuff will touch your "Soul." As a matter of fact, when he's outside looking in, he's looking into the "Soul." Hummm, wonder what the "Soul" is..., sorry there's no name for it.

  • 4:46 ahhh that change in tempo is so sweet.!

  • strictnine

  • stricnine

  • let's soak our hawaiian redbud seeds in coke to remove the strictine

  • Never comes a day (or night) when the Moodies are out of vogue!

  • .......Legends.....From The Beginning......

  • wow, just relax, float back in time..........

  • I've seen them in comcert & they did sound just like the studio versions live. They were that good. Mellotron used to just FILL the concert Hall. That was back in the 70's. Did not lip synch then.

  • Yes, this is, without a doubt, the studio version played over this video. I don't know if they had their own specific recording for this performance.

But this video's music is from the studio album.

  • @efdeees they are playing the studio tracks and lip synching over them this is not a totally live performance no way no how..you can tell at the end & its easy to recognize the studio cut..its not that they are that good as someone here states, live performances always differ from the studio recordings the reverb & compression are way different..& not all parts are covered.

  • @MOSKII58 I used to get so much shit for saying what you did. This is an act all the way. I saw them twice back in those days. They are very good live but this is not live at all.

  • WILD!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I love the Moody Blues and this video, however I noticed this live performance was a little too close to the studio note for note, which is not how the Moodys would play it live, then at 2:25 into this video there is a closeup of the drumset where you can see that nothing is being played, they are faking the performance. I was very disappointed but Check out other live versions of this song though, they're awesome in concert

  • You are correct. I could tell, as you alluded to, that it was a "lip synch" performance, and the music is playing directly from their album "In search of the lost chord", on which this song was a part. And yes, they are AWESOME in concert.

  • @fbenenati I have seen them in concert twice back then. Yes it is lypsinch all the way, and they are absolutely great in person I agree.

  • @blais33804 Looks like he's playing to me. Not sure what you are referring to concerning the drums. The lip synching may be true tho. Can't tell.

  • amazingly complex music to have been made so long ago. they are so underappreciated by the music community. jealousy? they should have been in the RRhall by now.

  • chills down my spine... <3

  • About a light that shines so clear:)

  • bassline on this is very cool.

  • I've been a major moodies fan forever, first saw 'em in '72. Amazing.. This song, Legend of a Mind, was about 11 minutes in concert in those days. The use of smoke and lighting was extremely effective for this song. Unfortunately, this video is a from a DVD where only a few of the tracks were actually live. This is not one of them. It is the studio version. They certainly deserve a place in the RR Hall of fame, but it will never happen. Jann Wenner just doesn't get them.

  • Zachtg1, I gotta say that I agree 100%. I've never seen the Moody Blues in live concert. But I've been to a Beachboys concert and I'd have to agree with you. There's just no comparison!!

  • @kjamor7

They still have IT ALL on stage!!

  • I went to see MB's at Alpine valley. The Beachboys were the headliners ,so the Moodys playeD first. They got about 4 standing ovations, people were cheering and clapping. then the Beachboys came on and everyone just sat there The Moody's were the real headliners.

Also, I thot I was pretty much alone in loving the MB's as much as I do, but then got to this sold out + concert and felt as tho I had lots of new friends.

  • Time Has Overlooked Moody Blues Music......This Is Just As Fresh Today As It Was 40 years Past!

  • @jimbmee Absolutely. I agree heart and soul with you all. To hear this again...it sends me on my way with renewed creative vigour. Love you, Moodies fans!

  • geniaal

  • What more can you say, greatness on display. Music legends at work.........Timothy Leary

  • Absolutely stunning live performance!

    Thanks MoodiesFan!

  • timothy leary

  • Johnholk, LikTyBlur, and brofanomo, I believe all U guys enjoy these clips as much as I do, just some input here.. The clips from this concert are not all the same. This clip and a few others are 100% the studio version, at least that's the final product we see and hear. Other clips contain live vocal over the studio instrumental track. None of the clips are lip synch, including this one, the studio audio having been dubbed in after the concert. Music videos are produced in a similar way.

  • True, I've owned this album longer than I care to admit, and this version is the studio version on ISotLC.

I also have seen them live, tho, and they do not disappoint.

  • @Coldbevies Finally someone who realizes these are studio versions. I have seen the live too and you are absolutely right, they didn't disappoint.

  • Good partial observation! However, not lip synched, but a sound track played in the background, with live music played overtop the recorded material; this was to compensate for the studio sounds ( hard to reproduce at that time live) these guys were way ahead of the curve! They were also very profecient Musicians live, as well! Perhaps, this is they're best recorded performance live from this time? Really something-----, these guy's!!!

  • So you say this is kareoke? Not hardly. The simple fact he subject is brought up so often speaks volumes. This is a "made for TV" production. Not live at all. All the major bands did it including the Beatles. Pull your head out. Every song at this venue is not live at all. It's called acting.

  • Know people in the business and know this show. "Not kareoke mate," pre-recorded tracks to enable multi-tracking, live, in an era, before the invention of sequencers for live stage performances. You can quite easily see they're playing their instraments live, as well!

Really, this is a similar live stage concept to the early ideas of the mellotron which Pinder helped perfect, when he worked for Streetly and introduced it to John Lennon!

Those Moodies, always way ahead of their time!!!

  • @LikTyBlur The Moody's were indeed way ahead of their time !!!

specially in this album ,,really dreamd away ,and that will allways stay that way

  • Absolutely right ...its so obvious

    Jim

  • Love this, all The Moodies songs are so addictive, fantastic tunes and good musicians with a fantastic singer with the most incredible voice oh and a face to match ummmmm nice!

  • i love these groups not like the jigga boo music they play these days hahahahaha

  • Comment removed

  • Yes the whole show made for TV and it is llp synched. I've been bitched out a lot because I noticed it months ago.

  • I'm not sure it's entirely lip synched, maybe just the instruments are canned. I just watched Ride my seesaw from this program and Graeme Edge comes in early on the 2nd verse. So at very least the vocals are live and they are pretty impressive throughout this show.

  • right on johnholk! This entire series was live vocals, however some of the other clips were overdubbed with the full studio track after the concert (they sang with the original inst track, so post production audio/video synch was an easy task) The Moodies live on forever!

  • Oops. i think you meant to say "live" instead of "alive"......or perhaps "are", instead of "aren't"?

    Just curious..... :)

  • aahh, but they are!

  • The Moodies could play their music live. All of them are very good musicians and were leaders in using modern electronic music equipment. I saw them live at the isle if white and they rocked. This song is off the album "In search of the lost chord." It is about Timothy Leary as the album is about enlightenment.

  • Isle of White or Wight?

  • Wight is the correct spelling and a Million people attended (an estimate I believe that was made at the time). I was just being lazeeee and probably should have not been half asleep when I made the comment. It should have been Isle of Wight as it is a proper noun.

  • no "H"

  • gives me chills

this is the kind of "falshback" that brings bittersweet delight - how i loved this era in time and how free i felt

    thankYOU 4 sharing :)

  • Lypsinc all the way. Not even live at all. A made of for TV show only to appear live.

  • the original Moodies recordingswerer so good they could never reproduce them live''.....nothing changes

    Jim

  • They quit playing this song when Ray retired. What a bummer. Arguably their best ever. With the constant change in beat and different sounds it was far ahead of its time and is timeless today

  • njaneardude, this is about timothy leary, a college professor who advocated using lsd as a mind expanding drug.

  • This sounds like a song about a drug user.

  • R I P TIMOTHY .

  • I have the original DVD of this concert that I got from Mike Pinder's site, but what I've noticed is that most of the songs including this one were pre-recordings. WHY??? I love the Moody Blues but why they performed live and used covers??, don't get it.....

  • You got it wrong bro. They wrote every song. Pinder was gone when this was written.

  • Pinder was with the band when Legend of A Mind was written. He was there for the first 8 albums. The DNA of the Moody Blues could be found in Albums 1 thru 8.. then the sequence ends.

  • Pinder is the one speaking at the intro. He didn't leave the band until 1978.

  • The 1st time I heard this song we we're driving down a road about a 1/2 mile from one of the prisons where Timothy Leary was held in Sandstone MN. It was just by chance, I didn't plan it that way. It was an old tape that my dad recorded and I had no idea that there was even a song about Timothy Leary on it. It gave me goosebumps, especially since the line "outside looking in" was referring to him being in prison. What are the chances considering I live over 100 miles from sandstone?

  • blows me away

  • A great bass line starting at 1:58...it makes me think of how salt used to be a form of money....since there is a lot of salt in butter they used to say "butters worth" instead of "value"...

  • omg don't ever say butters worth again you SOB

  • Great video .....Thanks !!!

  • my older brother got me hooked on the moody blues when I was just 5, this is such an awsome song, was that a guitar that made the weird sound or a synthisizer

  • I am Moodies #1 fan , ALLtime . I was on the outside looking in , also . Mostly in the 70's and 80's . Now I look right . O.K. youtubes , I'll see you in cyberspace . Adios , amigos

  • Ouch!....Ouch!....this is too loud ...TOOOO loud!!!!! stop the insanity wait, that part was ok..it was NO!

That Flugerfreeonerhop hit all the right notes buts its way too low in the mix however the vocals are almost as trippy as Pappy's burnt out old harmonica he stole from Jasper Wrath.

I heard slavery was dead but I met a guy that said he was a civil servant although he might have said "silver surfer"

The smell of cooking bacon has the power to wake you out of a sound sleep.

  • Don't Take The Purple Acid! If You Took The Purple Acid, Please Contact Medical Help Immediately! I Repeat! Don't Take The Purple Acid!

  • I got a butters worth of energy from viewing this film clip which is actually a compilation of bloopers from the old tv show "Emergency!"

The scene at 1:27 where the Moody Blues are all together on stage and Johnny Gage runs by them and with the help of his good buddy Roy Desoto starts to administer Ringers lactate with D-5W.

...It was odd to see them grab the electric shock paddles and put liquid LSD on them and drug the band members into an instant thought of "Justin needs a tan"

  • See! I told you to stay away from the Purple Acid! ;-)~

  • fantastic thanks so mouch for all those videos you have edited wonderfull songs never ending peace joiness and love forever music from moody blues are pure sensitive thanks so mouch again

  • This isn't live.. Exactky the same as the original record

  • Comment removed

  • Rhythm, harmonies, theme, presence on stage, orchestral riffs and the ability to move an audience with music like few bands could ever do.

  • One of favorite songs - here's one of my favorite quotes..."The universe is an intelligence test."

    Timothy Leary

  • "Everything that is new or uncommon raises a pleasure in the imagination, because it fills the soul with an agreeable surprise, gratifies its curiosity, and gives it an idea of which it was not before possessed."

    Joseph Addison

  • He's outside .... looking in..

  • I remember going to Leary's memorial service. I had arranged a few of his speaking gigs. The next day i went back to the east coast and caught the MB playing this song. Experiences like this were worth doing years in prison for ecstasy.

  • Brings you back the same day..

  • Construyendo sueños que guiaran el camino de la vida. Un yesterday ya. Todo pasaba en verano.

  • makes you wanna expand your senses..like we did back then when.... well you know what I mean...

  • Very interesting point on it not a Mellotron . But the music is opium for your senses . I am Moodies #1 fan , ALL time . I wish I was back in time so I could go to see them. !! As it is , I must settle for these wonderful recordings of the greats . And get my kicks on route 66 . Thats when I'm cruisen' my thirsty 1 littre KAW . A teardrop sometimes comes to my eye . So see ya' all . Adios , amigos

  • I almost bought this dvd sight unseen, then I checked it out from the library and I'm glad I did. As others have said this isn't live. You'll hear plenty of mellotron in these songs, but Mike Pinder is sitting in front of a Hammond Organ. I really was looking forward to seeing Mike playing the mellotron live with the moodies, but it's not found here.

  • Too bad. It would have been a fantastic dvd. Still interesting.

  • This song was appropriately played on my local album rock FM station in their program rotation for a couple weeks when Timothy Leary actually died in 1996.

Leary mentions the song in his autobiography Flashbacks, in reference to his popularity in the counter-culture of the time.

It remains a major favorite with us fans of the Moody Blues - not just because of it's brooding atmosphere, but it's also a highlight of Ray Thomas and his contribution to the group.

  • MoodiesFan, Joyce you have my deepest gratitude for posting this. I've enjoyed many, many hours connecting to the Moodies through their words, sure poetry, and classic/rock! Long Live the Moody Blues!!!

  • To all you good folks who share my love for the Moody Blues Thank you for your comments; some I agree with and others made me think on even a higher plane than I thought possible. OMG, this band was/is made of storytellers, like in the tradition of the troubadours in the day.

  • I've been a fan of The Moodys for a long time. I also love the instrument the mellotron which was a signature sound for The Moody Blues. This song features it prominently and from what I understand it was/is a very temperamental instrument to play live. The boys do a wonderful job of getting all the effects right in this song. Any experts on the mellotron to explain why it was so hard to lug around and play?

  • I hate to inform you of this but this is not live, nor any of the song at this venue. This was not a concert. It was made for TV only. You are listening to a studio recorded version without some of the magic of a studio. Look closely and it's quite easy to tell. I've seen them twice in the early 70's. This is not real by any means.

  • You are right - this is from the studio. What threw me off is what sounds like the vocals double tracked in some parts and also some overall reverb effects to mimic a live sound. Thanks for pointing that out.

  • I dunno - what about the screw up at the beginning of the first chorus of Ride My See Saw from the same concert? Doesn't sound like a studio dub....

  • This was recorded in a studio just for this TV show. It's meant not to sound like a studio dub because they're not putting all the magic of the studio. This is not in anyway a live concert. All the big bands did it including the Beatles. Let it Be, Hey Jude are not live either. They do certain things to make it look live until you look closely.

  • It got it's wonderful sounds from a rack of tapes inside it. Each individual key had a corresponding 1/4" magnetic tape with an instrument note recorded on it. When a key is pressed, the tape is played for approx 10 seconds (when the tape runs out), then springs pull it back to the beginning. This is pure analogue electronics here ;-)

  • I am Moody's #1 GREATEST FAN ! Probably listen' ta this fer' u wuz sparkle n' daddy's eye's. Now, goin' for a cruise on my thirsty 1 littre KAW. Adios, amigos.

  • and now he's the ultimate outsider looking in... after his death, his ashes flown into space and set free..

  • Timothy Leary's dead

No, no no no, he's outside looking in

    Timothy Leary's dead

No, no no no, he's outside looking in

It has nothing to do with catholic priests, irish or otherwise.

It has to do with the great guy who found the ultimate high

Timothy Leary and his greatest discovery LSD

Sorry to burst your bubble there Telsport

  • Wrong! Leary did not discover LSD, that honour belongs to Swiss scientist Albert Hoffman, who synthesized (made) it in 1938. Timothy Leary, together with the Merry Prankster, were the first proponents of the use of it though.

  • Ya what he said. What I was trying to say is the song has nothing to do with any catholic priest. Unless that is, some catholic priest actually tried LSD. LOL

Still, you say "along with the merry prankster". Can you please tell me more about this mysterious prankster of which you speak? I am always searching for new and old info. Always trying to learn something new. You seem to have the answers. Please enlighten me.

  • All the answers, nevertheless? I doubt it ;-) this one I know though: The Merry Pranksters (forgot the s in my earlier comment) were a West Coast movement, that travelled the USA in a painted bus (!!), promoting the use of LSD and acid. One of the leaders was Ken Kesey, who also wrote the book "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest".

  • telespsort, hate to burst your bubble,it's timothy leary, the father of mind trips.acid sorry to tell you.

  • Friend, I shoud have explained that for us Irish the names O'Leary and Leary are the same family name. McLoughlin and Loughlin...the same..as are Laughlin and Loughlin , Odd bunch, we Micks. i honor and thank you for being vigilant observance and help. It was a very very obscure matter for me..and an important one for you..I will change my post for clarity. Vaya con dios!! and thank you for helping me sharpen my wriring.

    Tom in Utica

  • I saw the Moody Blues in concert 3 times and every time they blew me away! I actually broke my ankle on the way and was carried in to my seat (Yes I was wasted, lol) but a better night there has never been! Grab those candles folks, turn out the lights, light 'em up and crank the volume. Long life the Moodies!

  • beautiful lyrics

  • Gee, you think that anybody ever got high to this song? Lol

  • This is the original album recording but has been mixed differently. On the album This is the Moody Blues several other tracks have slightly different mixes also.

  • This is the album track. Listen to it with your eyes closed - the timing and phrasing is identical. Maybe they distorted it slightly but its the same :-)

  • Great song from a fantastic band. In my opinion the most underrated band in history of music. Thanks for uploading all these great tracks.

  • The original sound recording must have sucked for them to have used the album track on this.

  • Comment removed

  • No...not really. HIs body, has ceased to function in our understood norms..but the eternal mind and soul...heck no. When I was confirmed into the Catholic church as an adult, the priest proceeded with a name totally unlike my own...referring to me as Timothy O'Leary. If you all knew how absolutely uncannily correct and proper it is o have been chosen to have my soul written into the Book of LIfe under the name of the dimensional traveling guru..you would be as happy as I am about it.

    Tom
