Low light is pretty decent. It has the makings of a great camera, except for lack of control of saturation, contrast and sharpening.

How is this camcorder works in low light? it should be good. Is this cam. is better than my FX-1?

@loco039 I bought the VG 20 last Monday when it came out. I posted this over at DVinfo.net after three days of testing, Essentially, at least in the camera I have, features advertised by Sony are not there. They seem to have crippled this camera more that the VG10. There is no way to adjust contrast, saturation or sharpness, from what I can tell.
