MISS THOSE OLD C&NW SD40-2. I ONCE CHASED 2 OF THEM FROM THE BUTLER YARD TO THE SOUTHSIDE OF SHEBOYGAN, WIS. TAPEING THEM AT WHAT CROSSING I COULD CATCH THEM AT, WHAT AWAY TO SPEND AN AFTERNOON!
Rest in peace, 6930. What a way to go. Hopefully, Union Pacific Artwork wasn't too far off for their second #1995, a General Motors SD-70ACe. (Which reminds me---what was the first UP #1995?)
Okay, Maybe they'll find a another SD40-2 locomotive and repaint it into a CNW replica of it and number it 6930 and it will be sold to a different railroad museum for static display.
@silicon212 Maybe they'll find a another SD40-2 locomotive to become the replica of 6930 and sold it to (NOT IRM) a different railroad museum for static display.

@RailsandRoads No, IRM has a _depatched_ SD40-2 in their possession. UP had patched it, IRM removed the patch.
