Demond Wilson did an excellent job in his role as Lamont Sanford. He and Redd Foxx had great chemistry and Sanford and Son remains one of the best and funniest sitcoms ever. I also have tremendous respect for Demond Wilson for setting aside his acting career and working as a minister and helping rehabilitate prisoners. A very worthy life no doubt.
