This schmuck has the facts wrong. The 3.0TDi with the quattro and s-tronic system has 245hp and does 0-60 in 6.1 seconds not seven seconds as he says. Get the facts right before you review a car please.

I like Audi, but to be honest, BMW's have always had the upper hand. I like the new A6 design, but the BMW 5 series has a more "professional." When you say Executive car, you think more of what a BMW 5 series looks like, rather than what the A6 looks like.

@Anoush13 In performance BMW and Mercedes will leave Audi behind but in just about everything else Audi will easily beat it's rivals. Audi is very underestimated. when you get to drive one trust me it will feel like home to you and you won't want to get out of it. That's a feeling that you don't get in the 5 series or the E-class.

This looks good but fancy headlights don't make a good car. I am driving an a6 courtesy car at the moment and there is no comparison in anyway with my bmw, I would be crying if I accidentally spent 36 grand for the same model as my courtesy car. From the pointless idiotic buttons everywhere, the poor quality indicator and wiper stalks, even the mirror adjusters feel like shit. I always thought maybe audi were ok but now Ill just laugh when I see someone driving one. Audi owners must be deluded.
I test drove a 2011 A6 and a BMW 5 series and no question the BMW is the better car. The Audi had manual steering adjustment for crying out loud, and a serious lack of headroom (I'm 6'3'' but I fit in the 5 VERY comfortably). My 6' friend was in the back and could barely fit. The new idrive is easy to use and Audi's setup was just too distracting. With the 5, its much easier for a passenger to do complicated tasks while driving too. Not to mention the 2011 5 series in black is damn good looking.

@idiotzrule absolutely. It was a 2011 A6 IS line. Maybe the IS part changed the interior, but I highly doubt it. I guess my driving position I'm comfortable in needs more space, but that shouldn't really matter being that our new 5-series is perfect. You're right. They aren't comparable cars.

WOW!!! this car is beautiful and is far better looking then its competitors. I love how Audi came out of nowhere with these designs and bested all the other german carmakers. Those leds are just so majestic and jawdropping. i regret buying a 2010 Audi Q5 so much now because even though audi started to redesign cars from the r8, they resigned interiors and leds again from the A8 A7 and A6. ahhh when will Q5 get this interior and new technology??

Besides. If you get an Audi with FWD its shit to begin with. FWD sux on big cars, its fine on your medium sized hatchback.
BMW 520d with multi-dimensional suspension with anti-squat and anti-dive setup, and rack and pinion steering makes it a MUCH better car to drive. Believe me.

@TheEryk03 the a6 is good, but i wouldnt call it faster cus the majority of german cars are restricted to 155mph. also its a fact that the bmw drives much better

Sales numbers will show. And though I'm more than sure Audi will make huge discounts, however the A6 won't beat the 5 Series.

The BMW X6 30D with 245hp and 500nm does the 0-60 in 7.5 secs and its much heavier. Imagine the 530d or 535d
