  • Very nice. you need to know physics. time consuming hobby

  • XNA good for produce things fast i guess. im learning C++ with SFML atm. its kinda much work to make things like u want em if u want much stuff and complicated. but it feels so good when u put out the things u done. and if u make it reuseable u can use ur own "engine" for so many things:)

  • what is a gaming engine as such? is it ready made code?

  • @fran2382 hi, yes a game engine is ready made code (or product) that allows you to build games, and generally takes care of the hard work for you.

  • @fran2382 Yeah but the Hardwork is where the fun lies in development so you can include whatever features you want. It just takes time and patience and alot of debugging but an engine usually is for me just to prototype a game and is not usually the finished product but to some who release stuff it is a finished product and some of them are quite good.

  • very nice, i cant seem to figure out things in xna atm -.-

im a newby, any info/advice/tips would be nice.

  • @develdog99 check out the SunBurn Framework (at the Synapse Gaming). It's very easy to use, simply load in a model, hand it to SunBurn and you get awesome visual like in my videos without any effort. :)
