  • We need more enthusiasm like Matt's in regular everyday people. Whether you are Conservative or Liberal we need to work together.

  • @svengally1 look in the mirror and you will see the real idiot

  • Matt's an idiot! Why do we listen to these people. People people, quick listening to these Hollywood idiots and get yourselves and education. Read and do your own research!

  • Obama is such a piece of shit! Can' believe the public was so stupid and fell for this guy. Won't be fooled again!

  • YOU VOTED FOR OBAMA!!!!

    NOW SHUT UP!!!!

  • that BS will lead to fraud just look at what happens in the netherlands, we also have that kind of structure for years

stop the capitalists, they are only out for power and slaves to do their work

  • 1:35...........matt matt matt matt....they dont need critical thinkers.

  • introduce vouchers and the education system will improve 10 fold

  • Its because there is a concerted effort to dumb down America so we can be more easily controlled. Start screaming about that Matt.

  • Matt Damon is a Fag who doesn't know his Ass from his Face.

  • @TriumvirVespasianus Okay send your kids to school and be happy about the crap education they get, so crap they turn out to be idiots too.

  • Matt Damon is a pretty smart guy. I seriously didn't know this, I thought all Hollywood actors where stupid.

  • @chigeh They aren't really smart people but they play smart people on TV!

  • @4n0nym0us0ne Look at his graduation history, he went to Harvard. The language that he is using is pretty smart. I know that Actors can pretend to be smart if they have a sript. But it is very improbable that someone can improvise an coherent intelligent impression. He/she would have to use certain words in a meaningful context. Which Matt Damon does. What you said may be true for most actors, but not this one.

  • @chigeh Bush went to Harvard too! Harvard and Yale, to me, are completely discredited as institutions of higher learning. The only thing Harvard means to me is that his family was wealthy enough to give an endowment to the school to buy his way in. People don't go to Harvard for the education, that's what they those of us who can never afford to go there. They go there to establish connections with other powerful individuals and families to secure their futures as part of the elite.

  • @chigeh He sounded like he was trying to sound smart, to talk over the heads of the peasantry. Some of the things he says may be true but he never touches the root cause of the problems with our education system. He's telling a narrative and either ignoring details or omitting them. He doesn't talk about the over paid, over abundant school administrators, who don't have any teaching certifications, only business degrees, that are needlessly draining school resources.

  • @chigeh I have a problem with the Department of Education in general. I didn't like being lied to as a child and I would not appreciate my children being lied to now. They said Christopher Columbus discovered a continent with people on it, WTF? Is that what my parents paid for? It's become state indoctrination, pure and simple. I understand why Thomas Jefferson felt that the only way our republic would survive is if the people were educated but it has been morphed into social engineering

  • Students should grade/vote teachers..... from k-12. ....every summer. if the percentage of a teacher is high (above 65%) teachers keep their jobs. if many students finish collage from a teachers class, then the teacher gets a raise. the more successful students are, the richer the good teachers get and less of "lazy" teachers.....

  • Matt Damon is an idiot.

  • @niterainbow47 how so?

  • When the USA aids people in poverty in other countries, it's good policy. When the USA aids its own people, it's Socialism.

  • @auralstream by that standard...the US doesn't actually aid or even try to aid people in this country. we take money from poor people in a rich country and send it to rich people in a poor country. if we were "aiding" people by the standard you are presupposing, we would just cut checks to every american for trillions of dollars.

  • Matt Damon isn't that successful lol in England if you showed a picture of him people would umm and Arrrr lol he just wanted to make it clear to us that he is powerful lol, go away

  • @whatacrank

Matt Damon is well known in the UK. He was making a point. Success at A can't simply be transplanted to B when A and B are unrelated things.

  • Matt Damon nailed it with this point. What people don't realize is the government under any administration regardless of political leanings doesn't want "critical thinkers" they want "obedient workers''. The Democrats put alot of funding in the public sector because they believe its the best way to control the masses. The Republicans do the same to the private sector to achieve the same goal. Bottom line is both parties want to control the masses in the way we think and live.

  • @tredavi That's a really ignorant statment. If you honestly believe that the two major political parties in the US today are trying to 'control the masses' then I feel really bad for you. Democrats are trying to make America a better place, largely by emulating observable systems that have worked well in Europe. The Con's have similar goals but think the private sector is a better way to get us where we need to be. Don't let your foil hat fall off when the door hits you on the way out.

  • @Kajintoz christ you are an idiot. the bipartisan structure is a farce. you can't honestly think the libs and cons have different goals. one does it through big media the other does it through big industry.

seriously.. get a clue. actually critically think. don't just roll with the dems because you're a hipster faggot.

  • @Kajintoz

Actually the goal of most politicians is and has always been getting elected. That is why politicians regularly promise and vow all kinds of things they have no intention of doing just to get elected. They run incredibly expensive campaigns paid for by big business who expect considerations in policy - which they always get. Make America a better place :)

  • @TheCelticChimp so true

  • Matt was disappointed with the supposed Progressive legacy of Pres. Oboma. So are ALOT of us Progressives. That aside .. the alternative is MUCH worse. The 2012 Republican lineup is a BAD JOKE traveling circus straight from a Reality TV alter-universe. Ron Paul aside the rest are corrupt, practiced liers, bored millionares, racists ect. My only problem with Ron Paul is his Lone Star State mentality & policies. If I wanted his Wild West politics in my life I'd move to Texas (laughs). No thanks ..

  • Vox populi, Vox Dei, Do not believe that your vote doesn't matter; it has been proven that the presidents with the largest populace support, usually receives the most electoral support...The numbers game is what matters, if you keep looking at this election like you have no power. Then consider yourself a whisper among a Roar of supporters! Wake Up and at least put a vote forward, don't be another piss ant who grips apathy so tightly. As long as we remain silent, then we are unheard.

  • We spend the 2nd most on k-12 per capita in the world. We finish out of the top 30 in math and science. I don't want to hear more money in this debate.

  • @sphereme While I'm not completely sure about more funding as the solution to the education problem, I can surely say a big part of the blame lies with the students themselves. I attended an excellent public school where only the smartest kids of New York City were allowed entry. However, the students at my school all wanted to learn and succeed. When kids, as I have witnessed in other schools, kids don't succeed simply because they have a different set of priorities.

  • @sphereme Right but spending the money on teachers would be a much better investment than spending the money on a variety of school budgets such as sports, and over updated textbooks.

  • holy shit this man is a genius

  • Good thing Matt Damon learned how to out run the CIA in the Bourne Identity!!! He's gonna need those skills now that Obammy has a hit out on him!!!

    LMFAO!!!!

  • What is the Sam Hill is this knucklehead talking about? He muddleheaded! Matt - you are embarrassing yourself. Please stop and stick to the arts.

  • Ok, how come Matt Damon isn't the president?

  • @blechtic Ya I wish I was a yank to start his election campaign. Shame isnt it that such a smart guys been wasted on them

  • @flirtwd So you're saying because teachers are stressing kids to take certain tests well, that the dropout rates reflects that? Ridiculous comment, stress an 8 year old over a test and see how well they do. Kids; young kids in particular, do not respond well to stresses from TEACHERS. That kid goes home with an F to a family who is already poor, and what do you get? A person who is no longer a student, just a kid roaming the streets.

  • Comment removed

  • frankly Matt sounds like he is a teachers union hack.

as far as i can tell he is advocating more of the same.

more unionized government monopolies without things like no child left behing to kick us in the ass

    schools with 70% dropout rates?

don't worry, public school teachers our on top of it. yeah right.

i promise you if these kids went to poor catholic schools 70% of them would not be drop outs. So Mr. Damon, please don't use poverty for public school teacher incompetence.

  • I've already respected Matt Damon, but now I do 12 times more. Finally some thinkers in the world.

  • fuck him. every time he has a movie coming out he bitches about obama. this is a country for the people by the fucking people. Matt is a rich fuck that sends his kids to the best schools.

  • @flirtwd Herp derp!

  • @flirtwd shut up you idiot, get the message

  • lol the competitive buisinessen of filling Matt Damon pockets, the man has never done a houer of honest work.

  • I'm going to be president.

  • Matt Damon is by far one of the most intelligent actors of this Generation that walk the earth but it's important for us people to learn how to build up solidarising facilities apart from the state institutions to set ourselves free.Stop crying and shouting because big daddy government doesn't support you...make it on your own, together with affiliates.

  • When a liberal twit such as Damon is bad mouthing the President, it deminstrates how pathetic this President is. He is the worst in American history by a mile.

  • Comment removed

  • Damian is an actor which qualifies him for acting and not for dispensing advice on how to run a nation. Yes, you have your opinion, just like me and you have one vote, just like me. There ends the sphere of your influence.

  • @Henryk516 I believe he said that very notion within his statement at 2:43.

That's his point altogether. There are people outside the expertise of education running the education system.

  • good to see matt speaking up he need to do more of that

  • It would help if poor teachers could be fired

  • he's so sexy:)

  • It is obvious that our true masters do not want the new generation to be able to critically and creatively think. The Rockefeller, Rothschild, Brzezinski, Wolfovits, Cheney, Bush, Clinton, Kristol, Bernanke, Kissinger, Greenspan, Silverstine, Famiiles want obedient slaves that will do the will of the master without question. Time to end this NWO mafia, otherwise this people will lay a graveyard wastes of us humans and our free world democratic civilization.

  • This is why China is winning. Bi-partisan bullshit and a complete unwillingness to let past grudges and foolish tradition die in favor of a better tomorrow based on cooperation instead of finger-pointing.

  • teachers, on average, are some of the most self-centered people in the world. they constantly tell everyone about how much more important their job is than everyone else's, say they shouldn't have to be evaluated to keep their jobs, won't give an inch on constant pay raises, full benefits, rediculous pensions, paid holidays, etc. all the while only having to work 9 months out of the year.

  • Matt Damon for President !

  • matt damon should be president

  • HEY IT''S MATT DAMONKEY !!!

  • matt is trying to connect with the interviewers and actually break the typical question answer routine and that dude just stands there like a zombie nodding his head... i would kill for an interview with matt damon and these guys are just there because they get paid to be there.

  • I'm 34 and I always thought that presidents were just puppets but after Obama, there's not a single doubt in my mind that a president has just as much authority as my cat. First how much money do you need to make a man more famous than Jesus Christ in 6 months ? These "presidents" just do what they were told to do and that's it. Wake up, you have no liberty, no choice, people already know who the next puppet is going to be in 2012, it's written.

  • @alexandreleverrier Elect Ron Paul

  • @Madfoot713 You don't get it - Ron Paul can say he wants to build a colony on the moon....it has to pass through the JOKE of a Congress....THAT'S the issue. This Gov, not the Administration, has Filibustered more in 3 years than it has in the last 20 before COMBINED. They're blocking every single thing...and it will happen to Ron Paul as well. So, he'd get nothing done. Ron Paul won't change a thing.

  • @liquifex Ron Paul doesn't want to build a colony on the moon, he wants to NOT build colonies in the middle east. "filibusters" and obtruction aren't a problem if your goal is to NOT do stuff.

  • @liquifex we cant afford pessimism

  • @Madfoot713 Yeah, run the education to ground.

  • @blechtic What?

  • @Madfoot713 Well, Ron Paul would pretty much abolish all the regulational authority of the federal government. That means no unified standards for education and lower resistance for making the field a racket...

  • @Madfoot713

If he's put in place than he'll just be your other puppet that will accomplish 5% of his promises and do what he is told to do by the bunch of multi billionaires that put him there. it's always the same thing, it's like we suffer from collective amnesia or something. If Ron is elected, we'll talk about his how he changed your life in 2 years. He's gonna lift up the economy and legalize pot with his little harms, wow, what a joke.

  • @alexandreleverrier Well, the point is Ron Paul hasn't been lying to get into office. That's the key difference. The president has a LOT of power.

  • @Madfoot713

    just wait and see

  • @alexandreleverrier If Ron Paul's a New World Order puppet or whatever you think, why is the media trying to fight him?

  • @Madfoot713

    Every publicity is good publicity.

  • @alexandreleverrier Suuuuure.

  • @alexandreleverrier no matter what the people say to you never forget what youve said, because anyone who cant see how obvious this is must either be a child, really stupid, or really desperate for a false hope

  • @xx2RAHxx

It's like collective amnesia, it's really funny, I can't wait to see Ron Paul Elected, do 2% of what he said he would do but do the job of the billionaires that put him in place just like all the other presidents since Nixon. People just don't get it ?! a president has as much power as my dick.

  • @alexandreleverrier I cant believe theres finally someone else who understands such a basic thing, youre a breath of fresh air

  • @xx2RAHxx

I can't believe other people still don't get it.

  • @alexandreleverrier Perhaps there hopes blind them from the obvious reality

  • @Madfoot713 Because the only good policies he supports is getting out of war and the stance on the war on drugs? His domestic policies are just as batshit as the other republican candidates.

  • @MrAndydotcom In what sense are his domestic policies batshit? Do you mean his economics, or his federalism? I like all of it.

  • @Madfoot713 fucktard

  • @anteracmacash sorry

  • @Madfoot713 lol it doesnt matter who is elected its all a game the leaders chose who will be elected not u not us not anyone your votes dont count watch linsey williams vids

  • @PrInCeSsuk8 I'm not that pessimistic

  • @alexandreleverrier Except for RON PAUL, believe me.

  • Matt Damon backed the wrong candidate last time. Hopefully he gets it right this time around. Ron Paul 2012

  • LOL....LOL.....LOL

  • @boogiebuddy01 you forgot big money, big personality, big heart..

  • If it weren't for the "evil teachers' unions",

all the "good, little children" would all go to the LIBRARY to STUDY and do their HOMEWORK!

They would also drink their milk and eat all their vegetables!

I'm still waiting for the T.V. reality show where Arne Duncan, Bill Gates, Michelle Rhee, Davis Guggenheim, et al. attempt to teach Remedial Math at a junior high in the inner-city.

Private schools only accept students with high IQs! They do not accept ESL or RSP students.

  • He is an actor, but I agree that its not the teachers it falls in the parents laps... As parents we have to be better, its not an easy job.

  • He is an American and he has a right to give his opinion, he is right by the way. Millions of people think the same way.

  • @TurkiyeCumhurbaskani YEAH milions of americans who r recipients of bad education who wouldnt know any better.

  • like this white monkey damon who actually believes he is still goodwill hunting !

  • any monkey who can memorize a script can be on films if u look interesting enough !

  • UM WTF! THATS NOT AN OBAMA POLICY YOU IDIOT!

  • @futurama2020 He is very involved in a lot of events like this.. It's not for show..

  • @qncsc No, at 1:10 he says tying a teachers job security to test results ensures they teach the answers to that one test. he goes on to say this is a really narrow and shitty way to educate kids, which "doesn't raise a generation of critical thinkers"

  • THEN WHY R AMERICAN SO DUMB AND LAGGING BEHIND THE REST OF THE WORLD MR DAMON???WHY? WHY???

  • MATT DAMON U R AN IDIOT. U SAY U R IN T HE MOST COMPETITIVE BUSINESS IN THE WORLD? BUT UR WORLD IS DISNEYLAND ! ITS NOT THE 9-5 JOB WHERE U ACTUALLY USE UR INTELLIGENCE A LOT. TRUTH IS UR SUCCESS DEPENDS ON WHETHER UR FANS LIKE U OR NOT ! SO SHUT UR STUPID HEAD !

  • @PLISKEN12 the film industry is extremely competitive you asshole. most actors cant even support them selves with regular jobs matt damon IS extremely successful at what he does he is the 1%. and hes right about ed policy. teachers' performances cannot be judged by standardized tests. Obama doesn't know what hes doing.

  • @93johnk yeah dickhead but its not an intellectual competition where u are using u problem solving skills. its being able to memorize ur scripts well i agrre but thats as far AS INTELLIGENCE GOES. of course they cant support themselves w/ regular jobs because they dont really have any other marketable SKILLS ! but if u make it as an actor. u get paid a lot ! w that aside u dont agree that kids in america are lagging behind the rest of the world? bad teachers represent the majority !

  • @PLISKEN12 You are* You say You are in the* Your world is Disneyland!* It's* You actually use your intelligence a lot.* Truth is, your success depends on whether your fans like you or not! So shut your stupid head!*

He is in a very competitive business idiot, not everyone can make it as an actor. Just like not everyone can make it in music. Please look intelligent next time by using you're, your, you are, and you next time you call someone stupid.

  • @theguitargod12 u know u can spell it properly, write perfect grammar but it still obvious to me how dumb u r. i use ur or u as shortcut ! yeah trying to speak perfect grammar and spelling is a way for dumb people like u to mask how dumb u really r.

  • @PLISKEN12 Intelligent people don't use shortcuts to mask their stupidity or their fallacies. You sir, however, are an ignorant fuck. Matt Damon had to put everything into this career that he is in now, and very successful to say the least, had he not made it into the movie business, he would probably be nothing, working that 9-5 job everyday of his life hating every minute of it because he knows that is not what he is born to be.

  • @theguitargod12 No anal retentive people are turned off by shortcuts. of course matt damon had to put everything he has into acting cause guess what,? he has no other marketable skills in the real world !any monkey like u can be in films if u can memorize ur lines and look interesting enough ! u see people like u rely so much in their "proper english" to make up for their lack in IQ !

  • @PLISKEN12 You however, probably chose the easy way to suck someone else's dick the whole time working that 9-5 shift instead of specializing in something else that takes hard work and dedication like Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Wolfgang Mozart, Bach, Haydn, Tupac, etc. Not everyone makes it in music, and not everyone makes it in the film industry. The fact that Matt Damon attended Harvard school makes him one of the brighter few. And to be honest, it's people like you why everyone hates america

  • @theguitargod12 i chose the easy way out? i make a living as an architect ! in this tough economy i wake up early everyday looking for work and i make sure i always deliver quality work ! u dont even need to go to school for what ur doing . DONT U EVER CONDESCEND ME LIKE THAT U FUCK !

  • @PLISKEN12 Yeah I don't need to go to school to do what I want to do, but I choose to go to school to help specialize in my skills. But the outcome is fact. Successful architects will get jobs once they get out of school. Musicians have a 80% chance that they will not make it in the music world. Now which is the easier route? One with a guaranteed job? Or one where we are wondering where our next meal will come from, from a gig that pays 100 dollars for 2 hours?

  • @theguitargod12 Well thats ur own choice, u put urself in that situation. i guess ur not a big fan of education as a whole although ur taking music lessons. thats why u dont think theres anything wrong w/ this monkey damon who thinks teachers are doing so great.

  • Comment removed

  • @theguitargod12 Thats why u dont even recognize that FACT that american students are so lagging behind the rest of the world because u dont even need it in ur fucking job !

  • @PLISKEN12 Here in the U.S. We aren't strict enough on our children to make them understand how hard the real world is. We hand everything down to them and they come up in life stupid because they don't know how to earn things themselves. I know students struggle behind everyone else because this country is so afraid of change. It would be simple change in our school system, more money into education so the teachers would care more about teaching, and probably longer school hours.

  • @theguitargod12 teachers make a very decent average of 53 k! thats working 8-3 and 3 months off ! do u know the topic of this video anyway? its about the union thats making it hard for the system to get rid of bad ones.

  • @PLISKEN12 We also have to start having kids choosing a line of work that they want to focus on in high school. Our public school education system is a joke, I am thankful I was sent to a private school for my high school education, and now here I am in college during finals week, listening to some guy call me dumb for not realizing how dumb our country is by believing I am masking my intelligence with my grammar.

  • @theguitargod12 u say public education is fucked, then why r u advocating this monkey damon then who supports the union of retarded teachers? and if u had the privelege of going to private school, then why r u in the situation ur in? u know what u r, ur a crybaby and u like to blame it on others for what happened to u. u had the choice and thats what u chose ! tsk.tsk.! i was raised and educated in another country so dont blame me.

  • @PLISKEN12 I know the reality, I live in it, your generation fucked mine. And we are the ones that are going to have to clean up after your mistakes. Thank you.

  • @theguitargod12 truth is u chose to be a musician because u want to be a star and making ridiculous money and fuck chicks for nothing !

  • @PLISKEN12 I choose to be a musician because I love music, nothing more. I choose the life I live because that is what is right for me. Fucking chicks has nothing to do with my career, if I make lots of money, well good for me. I just want to make music because that's what I love doing. I am not blaming anyone nor am I complaining, you asked why our students are so behind everyone else and I gave you a reason. I am just saying some professions are harder than others.

  • @PLISKEN12 And nothing has happened to me, I am still in college and have not seen what life has to throw at me. Again, you asked a question and I answered it. And yes I know what this video is about. I never once said I agree with what Matt Damon said, I just said that you are an idiot for saying it is not hard to make it in the film industry.

  • @theguitargod12 i never said either that making it as anctor in hollywood is easy. if it were i would be an actor too. i said being an actor isnt about using ur head to do critical thinking w/c so different from what white collar jobs are about. his world is so different from the real world. thats why he cant compare the two as far as being competitive. u see what i mean by ur lack in IQ? ur not very bright u know.

  • @theguitargod12 and ur still in college studying music, so what will u be when u graduate? same status ur in right now, a musician.

  • @PLISKEN12 I actually plan on being a Music Engineer, a producer, so I have to use my ears to get the perfect sound for people to enjoy. And being an actor uses different critical thinking than what you do. It's for your entertainment, just like making music. If I were to ask you to spell me an A minor seventh chord add 9 in second inversion could you do it? Probably not, just like if you were to ask me something mathematical I wouldn't be able to answer it. IQ has nothing to do with this.

  • @PLISKEN12 You are most likely a left brain thinker while I am a right brain thinker. We choose our paths, and we choose to specialize in it. The fact you keep telling me that I am not very bright makes believe you have insecurities about your own intelligence. I am just having a conversation at this point now.

  • @theguitargod12 well dont call me an idiot if u want to have a conversation. funny thing is successful musicians dont even have a degree in music. well im not going to go deep in that topic cause thats outside my thinking anyway. but whats up w/ "I know the reality, I live in it, your generation fucked mine. And we are the ones that are going to have to clean up after your mistakes. Thank you." as if ur already out there on ur own. sounds to me like ur still living w/ ur parents at this point.

  • @PLISKEN12 yes I know they don't have a degree in music, I am just getting the Engineering degree as a back up incase the whole music thing doesn't work out. And I say that on behalf of my generation, with people my age who are not choosing to go to college and realizing what real life has to offer them . I am not living with my parents, I am on my own right now studying, paying for my own schooling.

  • @theguitargod12 get an online degree. i cant imagine america producing good teachers when those teachers are recipients of bad education. thank god for h1b visa though.

  • 1:10

here Damon says teachers are incentivized to perform and thus, teach to the test, so that they do not lose their jobs

and then at another time, same setting, interviewing with Michelle Fields, he goes super-critical when Fields alludes to performance as important to keeping their jobs

so if the teachers really are only interested in teaching and do not care about the pay and feel that they are compromising and in-effect, not teaching, then why not quit or find a place as an outlet

  • i love matt damon

  • 2:27 Matt Damon thinks the movie industry is the most competitive industry in the country? Self-centered anyone...enough said.

  • obama go to hell

  • Fuck Matt Damon cuz he was such a huge advocator of that dumb Obama fuck now look how it is. Dick head

  • glad i got my education before "teachers" became liberal propagandists that are as hard to get rid of as roaches. these libtards have infested the "education system" with tenure that makes them fire-proof.

  • There are different subjects. in math and English you have to demonstrate knowledge. Damon is a very bright guy he totally surprised me when being against a test that measures results. Critical thinking is a different matter. I wouldn't recommend a test for CT but there isn't one. One last thing, he has an expert that says that tenure doesn't mean it's hard to fire them??? Just a say?!! Where is the "last year statistic of tenure professors fired? Tenure makes it very very hard to fire them.

  • I really would be happy if all these Hollywood freaks and frauds would just remain silent. They are a joke.

  • Nice one Damon, critical thinking is something Obama lacks! All hype and no substance and about as dynamic as a lame fart! The only change the US got was the loose change in their pockets. Well done for speaking out and for making clear sense on the issues.

  • AAAAAAAH!

    LOL

ol Matt hated Sarah Palin and was all for the GREAT OBAMA!

Now after seeing how GREAT obama ISN'T,,Matt is "dissatisfied" with HIS FUCKING PICK!!!!

-- NEWS FLASH--- Hey Matt ,you're JUST STARTING to see what the TEA PARTY knew about obama 3 years ago???

At least matt is starting to wake up.

That's more than you can say about most of the liberal obamanite idiots with their heads still up obama's ass!

  • @ekajeht dude are you fucking serious ?!? Are you actually saying the US would have been better off with that senile old geezer and his mush brained side kick Palin ?!?!??! and no i am not an Obama fan myself (at least not these days...) but there is no way (IMO) it would have been in more capable hands under McCain/Palin rule....

  • If all actors were as careful and passionate as him i wouldn't mind them getting paid as much as they do, but ones like Kim kardasien and that snookie monster should be forced to pay 90% of their wages to charity, preferably ones that deal with children's education.

  • Clearly, Matt Damon is smarter than I thought...maybe thats why he played the role of "Will Hunting"...

  • Absolutely true. I'm in the education program and all real learning shuts down two to four weeks before the testing, sometimes longer, while we focus on how to write the dumb-as-hell five paragraph essay and answer multiple choice rather than focus on critical thinking and other higher level thinking skills. Everyone who though English was about reading books failed, it's about learning to think, examine, connect, debate, find evidence, predict, and articulate.

  • Fuck Obama. He's just like Bush. All that's different is that he speaks better publicly.

  • Hey Matt stick to your day job... Oh yeah you suck at that too

  • @juiceman616 Atleast he has a day job!

  • 99% of American are idiotas.

  • @77musica :( id say, 99% all over the world - blinded, force blinded. cuz of consume, religion, politic and so on. powerfull structures dont want to see u well informed and well educated, thats why. its a tradegy :(

  • @Earth1nhabitant yes, you are absolutely correct, commercialism, false religions and corrupt politics control humanity

  • This always cracks me up, why in the fuck do people ask celebrity actors about serious political crap? Like they know anything, their actors! Brad Pitt had the best line when asked about the war in iraq "what are you asking me for, I'm just an actor"

  • Education should be about freeing the soul to fly to new heights-- to empower. Sounds like the MBA is modeling after a factory-- a people factory. People require freedom and dignity and love and stability and privacy and flexibility etc, etc. A human assembly line just doesn't make sense.

  • why does matt damon care about what obama does? celebrities should just mind their own fucking business and not worry so much about the government because they are not part of a government so what ever they have to say wont matter!!!!!!
