  • do your self a big big favour go and get into a real street fight with a block much bigger than you and a real mean look.and see how well your stuff works. just trying to help you man. cos you are lerning fake confedents

  • OVER 15 YEARS I WORK SECURITY IN SERBIA AND I HAVE MANY STREETFIGHT .

AND I WAS STATE CHAMP IN SANDA AND USCKF CHAMP IN LEITAI FIGHTING AND I FIGHT MANY TIMES WITH MUCH BIGGER OPONENT. COME TO MY CITY AND BE MY GUEST AND YOU CAN FIGHT WITH ME, AND AFTER THAT WE CAN BE A FRIENDS. ALL THE BEST.

  • @SiFuKoviljac I think this is an excellent video; and you are showing very good "control" and are not hurting your students. You are showing them the basics and you are taking it easy. I don't care what anyone says, this is a video about training students and not about wining street fights. Wining street fights comes from years of training; reflexes; real life combat and the ability to take a human life. This video is about training new students. Good job Sifu Kovijac!

  • @TheLymarie2001 WOW, you say that so arrogantly that it actually sounds like you have some experience, like you trained this WC lineage and trained all other arts and you compare it from you first hand experience. OFC you and all other ppl that judge sifu's and arts based on video clips and, with no effort in at lest to THINK before you say anything, are always full of BS and have none or some experience as a fighter, thinking that all others are the same, without knowing anyone...LOL, get life!

  • almost passed this up searching for somthin else but glad i watched it.

very nice entry sifu...i will keep this in mind in my next class i go to.

only a 9 month student and yet to see these entry's and i just achieved chum kiu level. stil always look for good wing chun online and how it may differ from what i am being taught... thank you respectfully, new wing chun student

  • Razumijes??? hahahaha

  • thanks for these form melb australia

  • Martial artist should continue to think outside what they have already learned. I Would like to do some boxing and grappling but Wing Chun is my base. I have beat wrestlers with my Wing Chun and with the little grappling knowledge I have. Boxers I have met had a hard time touching me and they don't watch their legs I always get them with kicks. The few real fights I have been in although I have been knocked to the ground never ended there I would never suggest staying on the ground.

  • Gespilk said something about people saying boxing is superior with punching. I agree to an extent it's hard to match but with a bit of knowledge as to punching like a boxer and a good understanding of grappling a Wing Chun fighter would be hard to beat. This is where we need work I use boxing style strikes alongside my Wing Chun. I have met boxers and they had a hard time they don't think about their legs this is where I beat them. I have also beat wrestlers with little knowledge of grappling.

  • Why Wing Chun does not have much success in MMA fights?

The system seems to specialise in one aspect of the fighting arts.

It seems that control over the opponent's body have much more value in MMA than the refined positioning of the elbow or the hand.

There isn't a single top MMA fighter that uses multiple punches Wing Chun style. Many believe boxing is superior to Wing Chun in the punching game.

Emin B. was too chicken to step in the octagon with Gracie.

  • ẽxcellent one! kêep up sìfu

  • I agree with desicuellar, these movements are close to 'correct' just being used at an incorrect time. I would add that he breaks a classic WC rule by commiting to hands to one arm for no particular reason (If you do chi sau you will know how dangerous this is) just paak sau man! also I am far from convinced by his solution to the cross, it seems very 'chancey' in this vid.

  • great wing chun thanks

  • besides that though his form is very good. good video

  • with all due respect, it would be easier instead of bong saoing the opponents defensive hand and then transitioning into a lap sao to strike, you would limit the steps of attack by simply pac saoing his defensive hand since its in position to be collapsed and then striking his center line. The bong is a defensive move, and although this DOES work. The goal of wing chun is to 1 never chase hands, and 2 (which is kinda of redundant to first goal lol) attack with limited actions

  • Ja treniram Jeet Kune Do u Njemačkoj al učitelj mi neki kreten. Neće da me uči ni chi sao ni dan chi sao.

  • @salyware Ma šta će on drugo.
