Hello Ithandir, what a privilege you have in having so beautiful little things as your kitties as part of ur family! :) You have no idea how many people envy you :P

I have some questions about Siberian kitties for you: Do you need to keep the temperature of your home low all year round? Do they have a problem with Summer or high indoor temperature? Thanks for ur time in advance :)

@kwokshsee their names are Pony, Tiki, Shugi and Sigi. I don't watch the temperature - on really hot days we often turn the air conditioning on for us. we haven't had any need to keep temperature a watch for the kittens. but it depends where you live - we dont get more than 30-33C indoors on average.. they are defined as "half long fur" so as far as i know they shouldn't have any problems. but im no authority on that :)

ive had a siberian for one year and we just got another at 3 monthes old. the 3 month old adjusting. when do you think the one year old's jealousy will wear off?

@HannahMayJune i dont know much about jealousy. our second cat is our first ones son - they seem to get along (they fight at times, but its nothing serious). basically, they should learn to get along eventually.

ill tech you some thing, you are NOT allergic to the cats fur you might be allergic to the sence that the cat makes,

siberian cats have a very low sence and would be very good for you.

And the reason you might sneeze is because tinny parts of there fur go into your nose and tickles.

I really want a siberian! Do you think that they would have enough of a lack of the chemical to allow my father to tolerate his cat allergies? D: I don't want to risk my dad's life! His throat literally closes up until he cannot breathe anymore! It's horrible:(

@JoeWalkerxoxo id say two things. first of all let him pet one before you buy it, and second, theres an antidote to cat allergy - im taking it right now (theres pills for temporary use and there's shots that make you immune almost permanently).

@TadakoXIII you surely can - I got friends who are HIGHLY allergic, and they can pet my cats freely. these cats are very good for allergic people - they barely cause any allergy.

@trecoolsrebelrocker One of my good friends is allergic to cats. he gets all rashed up and red when he gets close. with my cats, he allways pets them like mad, because they barely force any reaction from his body. you should go see the kittens, pet them, and see how you respond. to most allergic people, they are good. they dont spread too much fur too, so unless you pet them much, you won't have much direct interaction with them :)

|Be careful though. I am allergic too and i thought siberian kittens would be great, but actually my asthma has got a lot worse since i have had them. Best option if you are allergic is no cat. Unfortunately ....

basically, they are meant for people like your brother. make sure he doesn't respond, but i have a friend who is very allergic to fur, and my cats are the only ones he can freely interact with without feeling any kind of response whatsoever. I recommend you make sure before you get one, but yea they are hypoallergenic (good for allergic people).

our own cat cost us 315 dollars, but that was 3.5 years ago, and it was from a woman who was selling a single cat and we got off cheap. i heard in europe they cost 800 euro and up these days...

I love Siberians, too! I've always loved working cats, with their size and long fur. I'm also allergic to the FEL D1 found in cats' saliva, but Siberians lack that! So they won't make me sneeze and weeze! :)
