This show was easily the best Spider-Man show, it was best written, it had the best action, and it has the best theme song, 90's was good, but the nostalgia alone can not hold up and now it's just outdated also they reused footage like crazy, they never reuse footage in this. Too bad this isn't getting a third season, instead we're getting an Ultimate Spider-Man show (isn't this already most like Ultimate Spider-Man) which will most likely tie into the reboot movie.

Have you actually watched the show? I -love- the 90s cartoon, and grew up on it, so it's my introduction to Spider-Man as a whole as well. But honestly, Spectacular Spider-Man is better in almost every conceivable way.

I have seen a few episodes, and it's alright, but the '90s show I think is far better. This show really feels like they're trying to hard to appeal to the younger kids. I understand it, but it gets to a point where it feels like they're trying just a little too hard, and it makes the show seem very kiddy.

Speaking from the perspective of someone who's seen all of the episodes, it is most definitely not kiddy once the show really kicks in.

Sufficed to say, a major character has a heart attack. That's something you couldn't do in the 90s, and you sure as heck can't do now on TV, and yet they get away with it by dealing with it maturely. That's the major element of the show that appeals to me, actually, is the maturity with which it treats it's subjects.

Speaking as someone that loved the 90s cartoon way back when, I still hold up that this show blows it out of the water.

For example, the Sinster Six are ACTUALLY called the Sinister Six.

The Green Goblin is used much, MUCH better (as opposed to showing up two or three seasons later).

It's all headed up by Greg "Gargoyles" Weissman.

The theme song is a hell of a lot catchier.

It's an amalgamation of all other Spideys, like the movies, the comics (even Ultimate Spidey), etc.
