I practice kindness and compassion for people because I understand what is like to suffer and would not wish pain upon others. This is not taught to me by my parents or God. I believe people are born with a sense of compassion and when they see their fellow man down most people would help pick them up. @niyo77 yeah, most of the time i think about that. i said once to myself that if i were god, i wouldn't let the creatures i created suffer. when i was young i go to church and thank god, but as i grew up, i said why would go to church and thank god knowing that when i step inside the church to give thanks, some people at that moment are being tortured, killed, suffer in hunger, etc.

Although I was very disillusioned and in constant fear, and almost died several times, nobody told me God wasn't a religion and He would help me if I asked..... I found that out when I was dying and tried everything, except God....that's when I turned to God...pulling a trigger or not, we'll all die...it's good to get to know God before you do :)

I remember watching the video of Sun on the news when he was crying and begging for his life. It broke my heart to see a fellow Christian in such pain and horrifying conditions.
When I heard he was killed, I prayed that it was fast, and God made sure he did not suffer. He is with our Lord Jesus now. We love you Sun! RIP

Of course he was crying at first but then he just stopped and said no more. I knew then that the angels were ministering to him. I practice kindness and compassion for people because I understand what is like to suffer and would not wish pain upon others. This is not taught to me by my parents or God. I believe people are born with a sense of compassion and when they see their fellow man down most people would help pick them up. I see the world as being half full rather than half empty and we as people have the responsibility to help each other. We do not need a religion to tell us how to think or how to act.

@niyo77 yeah, most of the time i think about that. i said once to myself that if i were god, i wouldn't let the creatures i created suffer. when i was young i go to church and thank god, but as i grew up, i said why would go to church and thank god knowing that when i step inside the church to give thanks, some people at that moment are being tortured, killed, suffer in hunger, etc.
