Hi again Matt, i just wanted to let you know that you are great inspiration for me. Recently I've finished my own 30th anniversary poster but for movie The Thing from 80's. You can find it on DeviantArt just type The Thing 30th anniversary poster from CoconutCZ. Style is similar but i was kinda learning these stuff like technique and so i decided not bother with it and to make it similar and get into it. Thanks again.

It blows my mind that such an excellent video series has so few views and so very few comments.

Yes, Matt makes things look easy and doesn't really get into some of the very basic things a beginning artist needs to know, but these vids are great nevertheless for what they do show, and how they don't over-complicate some things.

Moreover, they don't really go TOO overboard with the advertising. Sure, he's trying to sell his book, but it's not as if he talks about it too much. Great, great work.

Hahaha! Been there sooo many times!In my fury I made a bonfire from my brushes, palettes etc. but realised it was a mistake when I added the bottles of turpentine and paint thinner! Eventually got my eyebrows back! Loved the 'circus' poster. Like to see a 'making of' that one.
