Yes, I stopped at Heanton to look at them the other day and think they look fantastic. This part of Devon is not classified as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Anyway, it's about time Devon, one of Engalnd's largest Counties, started pulling its own weight in terms of electricity generation. For decades, Devon has produced almost nothing. Perhaps you would like a nuclear power station at Croyde, like we're having foisted on us at Hinkley Point, Somerset?
I see them from where i live, when they are working they will be very gracefull. If there is an alternative that is as harmfull to health as these then let us all know.
I like many do not think they are eyesores, just look at how many people are sightseeing, Think of the money they are bringing and will bring to the area.
These wind turbines are incredibly intrusive (all highly visible from my family's farm a couple of miles away). North Devon has to be one of the most beautiful areas in the UK and it is being brutalised by these monsters. Very galling that those who have to live in the shadow of these turbines had their views snubbed in favour of those of the decision makers on whom these eyesores will have no impact.
It's not these turbines that are ruining North Devon,
It's all the new housing estates that are being built'
Too many people are moving to this county brining with them crime , antisocial behaviour, ect ........

Better than nuclear. Look at Russia or Japan. What alternatives are there that are better than wind.
