My two favorites are Musgo and Proraso. I love the way they lather and smell, they're both cheaper than all the others, and I simply find that I get a better shave with them than any of the other ones I've tried. Right now I'm working on a tub each of AOS and Edwin Jagger. Taylor's was probably my least favorite. T&E, C&E, Gentleman's Refinery, and Trumpers are some others I liked.
Monkeynotape- All the C&E shave creams work very well, its really a matter of personal preference. I really like the Sienna and Sweet Almond Oil creams, but my suggestion is to visit a D&E location and ask for samples (they're usually very accomodating about it).
Hey mantic, your videos inspired me to start wetshaving recently. For my first non-canned shaving cream I bought Truefitt and Hill's Trafalgar. This stuff really burns my face even when I use a very watery lather. Any recommendations for shaving creams for guys with sensitive skin?
blueskycomplex- Art of Shaving and Taylor's of Old Bond Street have hypoallergenic shave cream. Generally speaking lavender-scented shave creams are also very easy on the skin. Beyond that its kind of trial and error....
I would give up my soul for a tub of trumpers or taylors. If you happen to have a spare one, I would be more than happy to mail you cash.
