  • WHAT IS THIS SORCERY!?

  • i thought if one bit of embalanced was put on a blade of a helicopter it would fuck it up?

  • @DeathstormX Nope, helo blades are pretty dang rugged and can take some substantial abuse. There are tales from Vietnam where soldiers would patch bullet holes in the blades and jury-rig repairs using duct tape. Would the rotor be out of balance? Yes, but with careful pitch control of the blades vibrations can be minimized. That said, you will shorten the life of the bearings substantially if you fly with an unbalanced rotor.

  • what kind of sorcery is this?

  • And this kids is called stroposkopischer effect

  • wingardium leviosa

  • "anybody know how to fly this thing?

"Motherf**cker, it can't be that hard, it's just lift versus drag and rotation."

  • there's a logical explanation behind this, the reason y they don't look like there spinning is because your gay

  • If it was broken, it would have fallen down. It's simply out of petrol.

  • fake can easily see the photo shoped clouds at the end

  • HELL YEAH!!! THAT'S THE RUSSIAN CHOPPER!!!

  • and thats why you need fps in game

  • IMPOSSIBRU!!!

  • Look at that Russian Hind, It's nothing compared to the AH-64 Apache.

  • @xxSlipknotxx4life I find it weird that you know it's a HIND, but not the fact that the HIND is more of a a troop transport helo, while the Apache variants are pure attack helicopters. The Russian equivalent of the Apache is the Mi-28 Havok.

  • @dq9677 Lol true, I forgot about the havoc. I do a lot of studying on military technology and on military history in general. lol. But yeah the hind is a decent helicopter/

  • duuuuude

  • "Enemy Hinde, inbound!"

  • just like the laggers in Battlefield 2.

  • @cxrodformrx why is it fake lol , title-> Helicoper synced rotor blades with video camera

  • @cxrodformrx You are such a moron.

  • @cxrodformrx Look up stroboscopic effect. you are a moron.

  • It seems that 3 people doesn't know how to drive an helicopter

  • @PeterWhereat You don't know grammar.

  • @JTshoot hehe ;)

  • @PeterWhereat You dont drive one you fly one.

  • @PeculiarTactics Good to know lol ;)

  • Pilot: "IM GONNA FLY THIS HELO WITH THE ENGINES OFF!!"

    Guy: "But sir! You can't!"

    Pilot: "JUST WATCH ME, ASSHOLE!"

  • The blades a just fake. In reality this heli is driven by secret alien-technology. Same like UFOs.

  • HACKZ!!!

  • Omg thats weird :D but i choose to in it belive, even if it looks very fake !

  • that looks REALLY weird :D

  • no, this is a mi24 i think and it dont need propellers!

    black magic!!

  • Fricking cool!

  • Чип влагалище

  • how can the camera be in sync with the rotor blades? If it were, the helicopter would be rotating like crazy and not the blades. But here, both aren't roataing!

  • @Griesmayer I don't know whether to insult you or try to explain what is meant when the camera is in sync with the rotor blades. If you knew anything about how video cameras work this would be obvious.

  • @deject please explain, not insult. I really have no idea.

  • @Griesmayer The camera films at say 30 frames per second. The blades are spinning at a much higher rate than that. lets say (to keep it simple) that every camera frame, the blade spins it's full 360 degrees. What the camera is doing, is taking it's frame at the point where the blade is always at the same spot in frame. To do that, they attached a kind of tracker on a blade so that every time the blade was at that specific point, the camera would take it's frame. Hope that helps.

  • I still do not believe it! What is this for black Russian magic!O_o

  • Awesome!

  • good 'ol geekologie. com

  • I just shit my brain.

  • All I could imagine while watching this is how hilarious it would be if someone stuck their arm in the blades. It would look like their arm was just spontaneously exploding into pieces.

  • @ToxicBlitz wow that is awsome

i cant stop whatching now lol

  • @ToxicBlitz Oh that would be hilarious.

  • @ToxicBlitz BEST COMMENT EVER.

  • @ToxicBlitz ROFLCOPTERS... the blades are not moving and its being air lifted by a larger helicopter

  • @jamesodinson The blades are moving...

He just synced the blades rotation with his video camera so it looks like they aren't.

  • @tonhe one of the first results when searching for "synchrocopter" (intermeshing rotors-helicopter)

  • @tonhe Probably from people looking for synced call of duty montages.

  • @tonhe Beats me. I was just bored and typed "helicopter blades don't spin." You can check you video insight (in your account) to find what websites contributed most to links to this video.

  • Brown Magic.

  • BLACK MAGIC

  • i dont even...

  • this could be a cheap way to do some movie effects... say you have a movie about a guy that can do telekinesis... to demonstrate his powers maybe he picks up a helicopter and moves it... instead of using CG they could just sync up the camera like this and have the helicopter take off. voila.

  • @harbisonic amazing! you should do that for a living.

  • BLACK MAGICK!!!!!!!!!!

  • wait, im still confused, is the camera spinning?

  • @BlackDahliaMurder214

shutter speed or something like that, where the frames are matching up with the blades in the same spot

  • @BlackDahliaMurder214 no, "larry" has the frame rate on his camera set to the same as the RPM of the rotors

this can also be done with an adjustable strobe light and a fan

    this is old

  • @BlackDahliaMurder214 : thank you for making my day with your idiocy.

  • @BlackDahliaMurder214 No, it's the refresh rate of the shutter.

  • @BlackDahliaMurder214 No, the camera's shutter speed has been synced to the rotation of the blades so the camera has 1 frame at exactly the same point when the blade passes by.

  • OLD

  • win!!!!

kinda wierd seeing it like that though

  • holy crap thats awesome! :P They have invented floating helicopters! :P muhahahaha.

  • When helicopters divide by zero.

  • ROFLCOPTER!

  • In Russia Blades spin Helicopter!

  • @whothefuckisereg24

wrong! that's only in sovjet russia

  • Que?

  • crazy!
