The looms come with directions to make a hat. Plus there are a lot of books coming out on it right now. Provocraft has one called Knitting with the Knifty Knitter which retails for .99 if you've lost your original directions.
Thank you so much for your video! The directions that came with my loom were so confusing. Then, I watched your video a couple times, and made some beautiful hats, and now I'm working on a scarf. Again, thanks for the great info.
Hi!! I am so glad that you posted this!! I just have a couple of questions, when you were wrapping the yarn a second time around did you wrap around the peg too? Also, my hook is missing, would it be possible to use the needle in place of it? I'm trying to do baby hats for my friends that are all having babies shortly and I really want to get them done. Thanks so much for your help!
Your explanation is great... can you show what the difference between a knit and a pearl is on the loom. I am totally not a knitter but I love doing the loom and I want to do more.
I have been trying everthing to get started on the circular loom an this video really helped thanks alotbut I'm not sure what to do when I'm ue with my project so if you can help me out I really would appreciate it . Thanks again for everything .Sekia

Each time you wrap around the peg, whether its the first row or the second row.
You can purchase extra hooks wherever the looms are sold. I don't think a yarn needle would work very well, but a smallish crochet hook might.

Thank you for explaining how to use the circular loom for hats.
How to finalize is my question, how to make it smaller in the end until a make the little circle in the top end of the hat?
edithosan 3 years ago
To do that you would need to learn to make decreases. I see I'll have to make more videos soon.
