I wonder what the outcome would have been if Rootz built some Spores or Spines at that proxy Hatch. The Queen should have hung back and Transfused the Hatch while Rootz made 1 or 2 drones for Spores.

@azngamer16 Naw, it wouldn't matter. The Voids can just charge on these buildings and kill faster. Transfuse is hard to do when you're floating in the air. =(

I feel this needs to be fixed for early game play... if they can't wipe your base... they will just snipe overlords until you screwed economically and then use a ground army. If they cant do both, they can at least stop all scouting. For a solution, see my other post.

@jonsolo32 I'm saying when the Queen popped out it was attacking the cannon. If the Queen was to pull back and Transfuse the Cannon maybe Rootz would have been able to deny the starting position of Axslav even longer and with that Hatch there, he may have been able to apply more pressure from the backside where there was no wall or cannons rather than the front (run on sentence ftl).

Not only did he waste that queen but he could have EASILY destroyed that cannon with those Roaches a couple of times. It's a shame that he botched such an ingenious strategy by making a lot of simple mistakes in quick succession.

I play random mostly and honestly, I find protoss really OP. I'm not trolling guys, I have reasons to say that like the forcefields of sentries at early game makes a lot of diference as you can separate the enemy force and just kill em in pieces.Warpgates plus chrono boost is a too fast way to double your army in 1 minut, and nobody can deny that in mid game stalkers plus colossus is hard like shit to deal with. I think the worth fail in protoss is the chrono boost.

Really? CatZ was in every position to win this game but his pitiful control and decision making screwed him over.. Axslav did not react properly IMO and he's lucky CatZ blew that.

You gotta pump queens from the proxy hatch (and preferably not let them die after doing absolutely nothing) in case toss responds with SG.

The more I watch CatZ the less I like him. He's known for this strategy and he doesn't even execute it properly. His poor control is his downfall in general IMO.

@jakeshev Actually, you are reading this game wrong...Toss is who control'd this game by opening Nexus and Air to Robo...Catz had to react and try to do a counter. It didn't work. Doesn't give you the right to criticize and say what he did wrong or bad...First you get to his level...then you can maybe give advice.
