I don't know that this song is about addiction as much as it is about faith and finding religon. "I was speeding on the subway through the stations of the cross" We all interpet things in different ways though. Either way it's a great song. They played it as the last song of their concert in Foxboro MA and I had chills down my spine when I heard it. Bono really delivered on this. :-)

Have you speeded up the mix somewhat? It sounds a tad faster than the album version. Have you also fooled around with Bono's vocals? He sounds really echoey and even more haunting at times. Great edit :)

This song is work of art. I am a HUGE U2 fan but, No line on the Horizen is very overrated album, with 2 great with songs this and I'll go crazy. in the music industry, if you want your song to be eligable for radio, it needs to be below 4:30 mins to even be considerd. You did a great edit, but i think what u2 will do is shorten the intro for sure.

This is such a beautiful song and it's a shame that I even took away some parts. I heard that the very first unedited version of this song was almost 15 minutes, I wonder where I read that again...? Personally I hope they release it like it is to the radio, but I don't now if that's realistic.
